In the Crown Kingdom in the Peace Province in the Jasmine City, Zixin Quon, the emperor of the Chinese Empire, is spending his happiest moments with his wife, Empress Xiulan Yongnian. Zixin wants to impress his wife with his generosity and care so he prepared a surprise for her. He ordered his subordinates to bring a special batch of stones that he wants to convert into gold with his magical stick. The purpose of this converted gold is not to cast golden taels as usual, but to prepare exquisite and bewitching jewelry for his beloved wife. The collection of ornaments that Zixin ordered his subordinates to mold out of this converted gold includes, but is not limited to: crowns, necklaces, bracelets, rings and other types of adornments. When the collection of ornaments became ready, Zixin invited his wife into the main hall of the Imperial Palace and shared his gifts with her. Here is a snapshot of the conversation between the two:
Zixin: Empress Xiulan, do you know what is inside these fine boxes?
Xiulan: Emperor Zixin, I do not know unless I open them.
Zixin: Open them one by one, I have prepared these exquisite presents for you, my sweetheart.
Xiulan: Really?! Thank you so much, my sweetheart. Certainly I will love what you have brought me.
Xiulan opened the boxes one by one and she started to examine each beautiful article of gold with interest and care. Everything dazzled her. The prepared jewelry were truly astounding. These are the most beautiful jewelry that she has ever seen. She started to wear some of these jewelry and strut out in front of Zixin and her maids and servants.
Xiulan: Zixin, you always captivate me with your fine gifts. My words cannot thank you enough.
Zixin: Do not mention it. You are the empress and deserve the best.
Xiulan: You always make me happy with your beautiful romance touches and memories.
Zixin: It is incumbent on me to make my sweetheart happy as much as I can. In the midst of busy politics, I need to spare some time for my family and take care of them and their needs.
Xiulan: I know how busy you are so I completely excuse you for your decreased interaction with me recently. As long as you have the right list of priorities in your mind, I am completely fine with whatever you do.
Zixin: I will do my best to give you the lion's share of my time from now on despite my busy schedule with the affairs of the state.
Xiulan: Do not worry, my beloved man. The state should be the center of your focus because you are now the supreme leader of the Chinese Empire and you need to juggle all the balls in the air.
Zixin: Thank you so much for your understanding and considerateness. I will try to balance things well to the best of my ability.
When Xiulan went to her bedroom with Zixin, she chatted with him about the source of the gold of her jewelry as follows:
Xiulan: Was the jewelry you gifted me made from true gold or from gold converted from stones by your magical stick?
Zixin: It was obtained from gold obtained from stones by my magical stick. Why? Does it make a difference? Both are the same.
Xiulan: You are right. Both are apparently the same. But if they were obtained from true gold, I know that more effort was exerted to obtain them.
Mohammad's Experience in Magic Nullification
In Bilad Ash-sham (Syria and its surroundings) in the city of Damascus, Mohammad Azzumurrud has become truly an erudite. Over the years, he has acquired a great wealth of Islamic knowledge and deep understanding of Arabic literature. Mohammad remarkably excelled in learning the Holy Koran and the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, the two major sources upon which Islam is built. One fruit of learning the Holy Koran and the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad is the ability to carry out verbal prayers or supplications (الأذكار). These verbal prayers or supplications has many benefits such as making the Muslim come nearer to Allah and keeping him safe from many evils such as the evils of the devils. In other words, a Muslim who recites verbal prayers or supplications wards off many evils that surrounds him/her by Allah's Leave. The verbal prayers or supplications consists of specific verses from the Holy Koran and specific Hadeeths from the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. One particular application of verbal prayers or supplications in Islam is the ability to nullify magic via the Islamic Incantation (الرقية الإسلامية). The linguistic meaning of incantation here is: “a written or recited formula of words designed to produce a particular effect” [W-4]. The Islamic Incantation is usually recited by a righteous pious Muslim who has strong connection with Allah. The Islamic Incantation can consist of only verses from the Holy Koran, only Hadeeths from the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad or both. Once this Islamic Incantation is recited upon a bewitched person or object, it nullifies magic by the Will of Allah. It is very important at this stage to classify magic into two main categories: benign magic and malevolent magic. Benign magic includes magic practices that rely purely on the exercise of the sleight of hand. Malevolent magic relies on talismans, spells, charms and interactions with the jinn or the devils and it is intended to inflict harm on the bewitched person. Islam permits benign magic and forbids malevolent magic. One way to combat malevolent magic in Islam is via the Islamic Incantation that nullifies the magic of an evil magician. The Islamic Incantation is preferably recited in Arabic, the native language of the Holy Koran.
One particular harm that evil magicians can inflict on a bewitched person by malevolent magic is the separation between the bewitched husband and his wife or the bewitched wife and her husband. Allah mentioned this fact in the Holy Koran in the following verse:
“They followed what the devils gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Solomon. Solomon did not disbelieve, but the devils disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two (angels,) Harut and Marut, but neither of these two angels taught anyone (such things) till they had said, "We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us)." And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's Leave. And they learn that which harms them and profits them not. And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their ownselves, if they but knew. (102)” [THK: S 2: V 102].
Since Mohammad Azzumurrud is a Koran memorizer, he learned the Islamic Incantation from his teacher Abdulqahhar Bin Abulqawiyy. Mohammad customized the Islamic Incantation he learned from his teacher by adding his own selected verses from the Holy Koran. The Islamic Incantation of Mohammad relies only on verses from the Holy Koran without including any Hadeeths from the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. So far, Mohammad has two experiences in using the Islamic Incantation to nullify magic and here are the two relevant stories.
Story 1: The Tailor Magician
One time, one ordinary person, Khaled, complained to Mohammad that his wife, Salwa, has become repulsive toward him. She used to love, pamper and dote on him in the past but recently she changed overnight and became less interested in him. After hearing this story, Mohammad suspected that there has been malevolent magic to separate this husband from his wife. Mohammad went with the man to his house and he recited the Islamic Incantation on both the husband and his wife. The two of them felt great relief and tranquility after the recitation of the Islamic Incantation. Then, Mohammad inquired of the past interactions of the wife with outsiders. She mentioned that she recently went to a tailor woman to shorten some of her garments. This information captured the attention of Mohammad because evil magicians at times take one trace of the person that they wish to bewitch via malevolent magic. Using that trace, they prepare their magic using talismans, spells or charms in addition to seeking the help of the jinn or the devils. Once the evil magic is ready, its effects start to appear on the bewitched person. Mohammad suspected that the tailor woman is a magician and that she took one trace of the bewitched woman such as pieces of her clothes to prepare the malevolent magic for her in order to separate her from her husband. That was only a suspicion and in order to confirm the conjecture of Mohammad, he went to the police asking them for help. Mohammad explained his suspicion to the police and they agreed to make a raid on the tailor woman's house for inspection. Mohammad was with the police during the raid and they found a surprise. The found a large cabinet with 100 small drawers and inside each drawer is a magic object that contains pieces of clothes along with talismans. Mohammad's conjecture was confirmed to be true and the tailor woman turned out to be a evil magician who takes traces of her customers (pieces of clothes) in order to prepare malevolent magic that separates husbands and wives. The magic objects were destroyed by burning and after this incident, Khalid thanked Mohammad for his help with the Islamic Incantation and the detainment of the tailor magician. Khaled said that his wife Salwa recovered well and now she is no longer repulsive toward him. This was the first success story of Mohammad in magic nullification.
Story 2: The Hair Stylist Magician
In one occasion, one ordinary person, Jaber, complained to Mohammad that his relationship with his wife, Layla, has worsened recently. The man mentioned that they used to live happily in peace and tranquility but suddenly things have changed and troubles now abound in their lives. Layla started to turn away from Jaber and desire him less. Furthermore, she is asking Jaber for divorce. Based on the sharp acumen and prudent foresight of Mohammad, he anticipated that one of the couples or both have been bewitched by malevolent magic. Mohammad recited the Islamic Incantation for both the husband and the wife. The couple felt great peace and calmness after the recitation of the Islamic Incantation. Then, Mohammad started to investigate the matter by asking a series of questions to Jaber and Layla. Mohammad asked Layla about people she interacts with usually or recently. She mentioned that she went recently to a hair stylist to shorten her hair. This piece of information captured the interest of Mohammad and alerted him to the potential existence of malevolent magic. Mohammad said to himself: “What if the hair stylist is an evil magician who takes traces of the hairs of her customers to prepare malevolent magic for them?” Mohammad conjectured that the hair stylist takes traces of the hairs of her customers to prepare her magic using talismans, spells or charms in addition to seeking the help of the jinn or the devils. Once the evil magic is ready, its effects start to appear on the bewitched person and the symptoms of repulsion between a husband and his wife become a reality. Mohammad asked the police for help in investigating this case. He requested to make a raid on the hair stylist's house for inspection. During the raid, Mohammad's conjecture was again proved to be true. The police found a large box and inside this box there were tens of magic objects that consist of talismans and locks of hairs that were cut off by the hair stylist. It was clear that the hair stylist is an evil magician who takes locks of the hairs of her customers and prepare malevolent magic for them with the intention to separate husbands and wives. The hair stylist magician was detained by the police with the assistance of Mohammad in recognizing malevolent magic. The magic objects were destroyed completely by burning and the hair stylist magician confessed her crimes. Jaber and Layla recuperated well after the Islamic Incantation recited by Mohammad and the destruction of the magic objects possessed by the hair stylist magician. Their relationship returned to its healthy state and no more hatred or repulsion exist between them. This story is the second success story for Mohammad in his experience with magic nullification.
Mohammad's Dream
One night, Mohammad prayed Alisha prayer which is the fifth and last prayer for Muslims in a day then he slept. He saw a great dream that he never forgets. He saw himself on a mountain with rains falling and flashes of lightning. He heard the voice of a woman coming from a cliff. The woman was screaming: “Help me! Help me! Help me! ...” in a continuous manner. Mohammad ran quickly toward the voice of the woman imploring the assistance and he saw a woman hanging off the cliff with her two hands. If the woman releases her hands from the edge of the cliff, she would certainly fall off the cliff and die. When Mohammad saw the woman, she was completely exhausted from hanging off the cliff for a long time so she released her hands and started to fall off the cliff but Mohammad held her right hand with his right hand and prevented her from falling off the cliff in the last moment. Mohammad then dragged the woman with all his power until all her body was raised to the edge of the cliff. When the woman became safe, she smiled, thanked Mohammad and left. The woman had charming beauty so her image was engraved in Mohammad's memory.
After Mohammad woke up, he remembered every detail about this splendid dream. Since Mohammad is a Koran memorizer, he has a great skill in dream interpretation. So Mohammad interpreted his dream as follows: “Perhaps there is a woman who needs my help and I shall be her savior. I wonder who that woman might be, where she is now and what she is doing now. It was raining with flashes of lightning. Rain is water and lightning is fire. This the is the secret of combining the two antitheses that I learned from the Holy Koran and the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. But what is the relationship between the woman seeking help and the secret of combining the two antitheses? I do not know. Only Allah knows.” Mohammad felt glad after seeing this dream and he was intending to help anyone who seeks his help whenever he can. It is now time for Mohammad to take one of the greatest steps in his life: traveling to the Chinese Empire. Mohammad wishes to visit the Chinese Empire to explore a new world there. He remembers the positive feedback about China that his cousin shared with him long time ago.
Mohammad Travels to The Chinese Empire
Omar Almarjan, the cousin of Mohammad who travels frequently from/to the Chinese Empire for trade, has come to Damascus three days ago. Today he is invited for dinner in Mohammad's house. Zaynab Albahr, Mohammad's mother, has prepared a wide variety of delicious dishes in honor of Omar's safe arrival to Damascus from his long tiring travel as Zaynab regard Omar as her very dear nephew. When Omar came and after having dinner, he chatted with Mohammad and his family and here is a snapshot of their interesting conversation.
Omar: Mohammad, why do not you travel with me to the Chinese Empire? We will entertain one another in the journey and it is a great opportunity for you to explore a new nation and its great civilization.
Mohammad: The Chinese civilization greatly interests me and I wish to visit the Chinese Empire one day to explore its beauty and witness its grandeur.
Omar: Then you must accompany me to the Chinese Empire this time. I am leaving to China after three months from now. What do you think?
Mohammad: I really love to accompany you to China but I need to take the permissions of my parents first. My dear parents, do you allow me to accompany my cousin Omar in his travel to China this time?
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Zaynab and Abdurrahman Azzumurrud: Of course, Mohammad, We are never an obstacle in your way to do what you desire and love. But you need to promise us to take care of yourself well in your travel. Omar, you also need to promise us to take care of yourself as well. You both should take care of one another during your travel.
Mohammad: Dear parents, I promise to take care of myself and my cousin Omar during my travel.
Omar: Dear uncle and aunt, I promise to take care of myself and my cousin Mohammad during my travel.
Zaynab: I wish you you a marvelous journey. Mohammad, you should prepare yourself for the travel and pack you luggage.
Mohammad: I will do. Thank you, my dear mother, for your care. By the way, Omar, how is the political climate in China now? Is the nation politically stable?
Omar: It is a long story, Mohammad. The Chinese Empire was under the rule of Emperor Wei Jian then Zixin Quon carried out a coup and killed Emperor Wei Jian. Now Zixin is the emperor. There have been military clashes between the soldiers of Zixin and the soldiers of the deposed government.
Mohammad: Interesting. What happened to the family of the deposed emperor?
Omar: Zixin killed the emperor and the empress. He also killed the four brothers of the emperor with their families. It was such a tragic event because many children of the Imperial Family were killed. The deposed emperor has one son and one daughter. They fled and Zixin could not capture them until now. Zixin pledged a monetary reward of 5000000 golden taels for capturing the son of Emperor Wei Jian and another 5000000 golden taels for capturing the daughter of the deposed emperor as well.
Mohammad: I see. I feel sorry for what happened to the deposed emperor and the rest of the Imperial Family.
Omar: Not only you felt this sadness. The vast majority of the Chinese Empire felt sorry as well because they love their deposed emperor and the Imperial Family and revere them greatly.
After three months, Mohammad and Omar set out for the Chinese Empire. The journey takes around six months and they traveled through the Silk Road. During their rest time, Omar teaches Mohammad the basics of the Chinese language so that he can communicate fluently and confidently with Chinese people once they arrive to China. Since Mohammad is a Koran memorizer, he has excellent and exceptional memorization skills so he could employ his powerful memorization in learning the Chinese language as much as he can.
Mohammad and Omar have finally arrived to the Chinese Empire. Their destination in this travel is the Rainbow City in the Silk Province in the Star Kingdom. Mohammad loved the nature of the Rainbow City and its amazing attractions. He also loved the Chinese markets and the superb handicrafts of the Chinese people. Currently, Mohammad and Omar live in a hotel in the Rainbow City and during the day, they go to the market to sell their goods and buy their own goods as well. Mohammad particularly liked the Peafowl Lake in the Rainbow City so he goes to its beach daily after he finishes selling and buying goods for meditation, relaxation and pleasure.
The Historic Meeting Between Taiyang and Mohammad
In the Rainbow City, Taiyang Jian did not despair of finding a solution to counteract the magic of Zixin. She recently got an nice idea so she shared it with her brother, Yueliang Jian, and Junjie Song, the Imperial Minister of Intelligence of the deposed government, as follows:
Taiyang: I got an idea. Since all the native magicians of the Rainbow City failed to nullify the magic of Zixin on the sample of golden taels we shared with them, why do not broaden our search? Perhaps if we go to hotels where travelers reside, we might find people from other nations and cultures who know a way to nullify magic.
Yueliang: That is really a good idea.
Junjie: Taiyang, you always impress us with your clever ideas. Let us separate daily and go to different hotels to ask travelers about magic nullification. Perhaps we will meet some beneficial people who will help us in our quest.
Taiyang: Let us work hard and seek a solution. I will never give up as long as I breathe. I cannot forget my beautiful dream and I still hope to see my dream come true.
Over the next three days, Yueliang, Taiyang and Junjie searched daily in different hotels for travelers who might know methods for magic nullification but to no avail. When Taiyang was visiting different hotels, she was escorted by four of the Imperial Guards who came with her to the Rainbow City. These Imperial Guards wear ordinary clothes for camouflage and to distract the attention of those seeking to capture Yueliang, Taiyang and Junjie.
One day, Taiyang decided to visit the hotel in which Omar and Mohammad reside. As usual, she was escorted by four of the Imperial Guards for her safety and protection. As she was walking toward the hotel in a path empty of people, she saw Mohammad coming in an opposite direction to her. Mohammad was heading toward the Peafowl Lake to relax and enjoy its beauty as usual. When Mohammad approached the five ladies and faced each other, Mohammad saw Taiyang for the first time. Mohammad was bewitched by Taiyang's astounding beauty and he said to himself: “Glorious and Blessed is Allah who created this perfect beauty.” Taiyang saw Mohammad for the first time wearing a turban so she said to herself: “What a beautiful man! He does not look Chinese because he is wearing a turban and Chinese people do not wear turbans. Perhaps he is a traveler.”
A few steps back, Taiyang dropped a sachet that contains some of her personal ornaments and accessories. Neither Taiyang nor her Imperial Guards noticed the fall of the sachet so they continued walking leaving the sachet behind. After Mohammad faced Taiyang and her Imperial Guards and walked past them, he saw the sachet on the ground so he conjectured that one of the five ladies he just saw dropped it accidentally without noticing it. Mohammad picked the sachet and called the ladies: “Ladies, does this sachet belong to you?” Taiyang and the four Imperial Guards looked back and when Taiyang saw the sachet in Mohammad's hand, she realized that it is her sachet and she dropped it. Taiyang said: “Yes, gentleman, This sachet is mine. I dropped it accidentally.” Mohammad gave Taiyang the sachet so Taiyang thanked him with these words: “Thank you so much for finding and returning it to me. I am grateful for your honesty.” Mohammad said to her: “It is my pleasure. Do not mention it. You are most welcome anytime.” Mohammad and Taiyang smiled to one another and left in opposite directions.
When Taiyang reached the hotel, she shouted in the main hall of the hotel: “Does anyone know how to nullify magic?” Omar was having his lunch in the main hall of the hotel. Furthermore, Omar was aware that his cousin Mohammad has experience in magic nullification because he heard about the two success stories of magic nullification that Mohammad experienced in Damascus. His aunt Zaynab told Omar once about these two success stories. So Omar said to himself: “Why do not I help her and refer her to my cousin, Mohammad. Perhaps he can help her with magic nullification.” Omar said to Taiyang: “Lady, I know someone who has knowledge of and experience in magic nullification and he might be able to help you.” Taiyang said with great enthusiasm and surprise: “Really?! Do you know someone who knows about magic nullification? Where is he? Please guide me to him.” Omar said: “He is my cousin, Mohammad, but he is currently unavailable. He headed toward the Peafowl Lake a few moments ago.” Taiyang said: “Could you please take me to him? I urgently need his help.” Omar said: “Can you wait for me until I finish my lunch? I will take you to him once I finish my meal.” Taiyang said: “Yes, please feel free to finish your lunch. I apologize for any disturbance or inconvenience.” Omar said: “Not at all. It is my pleasure to help you. Please share my lunch with your comrades.” Taiyang said: “Thank you so much for your generosity. I truly appreciate your invitation but we already had our lunch and were are now full. Please feel free to finish your lunch.” Omar said: “Thank you for waiting for me. I will accompany you right away to go and introduce you to my cousin.”
After Omar finished his lunch, he accompanied Taiyang and her Imperial Guards and walked together heading toward the Peafowl Lake. Omar saw Mohammad afar so he approached him with Taiyang and her Imperial Guards and said to him: “Mohammad, Assalamu Alikom [This is the Arabic and Islamic greeting which means: peace be upon you], this lady is seeking your help in magic nullification. I told her that my cousin has knowledge of and experience in magic nullification. Could you please help her out?” When Mohammad saw Taiyang and Taiyang saw Mohammad, they were shocked in surprise to see each other again. Taiyang said to Mohammad in surprise: “You?!” and Mohammad said to Taiyang in surprise: “You?!” Omar said: “Do you know each other?” Mohammad said: “We just met on the road and I found her sachet that she dropped accidentally.” Omar said to Taiyang: “This is Mohammad, my cousin who has experience in magic nullification.” Taiyang said: “This is great! Mohammad. I am Xiuying Lok and I have a bewitched object. Can you nullify magic in this bewitched object and let it restore its original and normal state?” Mohammad said: “I have experience in magic nullification and I will do my best to nullify magic on your bewitched object. I can neither benefit you nor harm you except by the Will of Allah.” This was the first time Taiyang hears the word “Allah” as she has no knowledge of Allah before. Taiyang then pulled a pouch out of her pocket that contains 100 golden taels taken from the sample of golden taels that were produced using the magic of Zixin. Taiyang opened the pouch and made sure that the 100 golden taels are truly golden taels. Indeed, the 100 golden taels looked perfectly true golden taels. Then she closed the pouch without showing what is inside it to Mohammad. She handed Mohammad the pouch and said: “This is the bewitched object.” Mohammad took the bag with his right hand and then brought it near his mouth. After that, Mohammad started to recite the Islamic Incantation which consists of the following Suras and verses from the Holy Koran [AB-9]. Mohammad recited loud these Suras and verses in Arabic which is the language of the Holy Koran. While Mohammad was reciting the Holy Koran, Taiyang and her companions were listening attentively to the recitation of Mohammad that is completely unfamiliar to them since it is in Arabic and not in Chinese.
The Beginning of the Islamic Incantation
I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the outcast (the cursed one).
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
“All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). (2) The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (3) The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) (4) You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). (5) Guide us to the Straight Way. (6) The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians). (7)” [THK: S 1: V 1-7].
“Allah! none has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (255)” [THK: S 2: V 255].
“Say (O Muhammad): "Praise and thanks are to Allah, and peace be on His slaves whom He has chosen (for His Message)! Is Allah better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" (Of course, Allah is Better). (59)” [THK: S 27: V 59].
“O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Koran, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences,) Which is in your breasts, a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers. (57)” [THK: S 10: V 57].
“"Then, eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your Lord made easy (for you)." There comes forth from their bellies, a drink of varying color wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is indeed a sign for people who think. (69)” [THK: S 16: V 69].
“And say (O Muhammad): My Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honor, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honor. And grant me from You an authority to help me (or a firm sign or a proof). (80) And say: "Truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism or this Koran or Jihad against polytheists) has come and Batil (falsehood, i.e. Satan or polytheism) has vanished. Surely! Batil is ever bound to vanish." (81) And We send down of the Koran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss. (82)” [THK: S 17: V 80-82].
“And if We had sent this as a Koran in a foreign language (other than Arabic), they would have said: "Why are not its Verses explained in detail (in our language)? What! (A Book) not in Arabic and (the Messenger) an Arab?" Say: "It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing. And as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness (deafness) in their ears, and it (the Koran) is blindness for them. They are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand). (44)” [THK: S 41: V 44].
“And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things (17)” [THK: S 6: V 17].
“Say (O Muhammad): "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Have you then taken (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for benefit or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Is the blind equal to the one who sees? Or darkness equal to light? Or do they assign to Allah partners who created the like of His creation, so that the creation (which they made and His creation) seemed alike to them." Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things, He is the One, the Irresistible." (16)” [THK: S 13: V 16].
“Or say they: "We are a great multitude, victorious.?" (44) Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. (45) Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. (46)” [THK: S 54: V 44-46].
“"All that we [the folk of Prophet Hud who are polytheists] say is that some of our gods (false deities) have seized you with evil (madness)." He [Prophet Hud] said: "I call Allah to witness and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe as partners in worship, (54) With Him (Allah). So plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite. (55) "I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth). (56)” [THK: S 11: V 53-56].
“And We (Allah) reveled to Moses (saying): "Throw your stick," and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed. (117) Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. (118) So they were defeated there and returned disgraced. (119) And the sorcerers fell down prostrate. (120) They said: "We believe in the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). (121) "The Lord of Moses and Aaron." (122)” [THK: S 7: V 117-122].
“And Pharaoh said: "Bring me every well-versed sorcerer." (79) And when the sorcerers came, Moses said to them: "Cast down what you want to cast!" (80) Then when they had cast down, Moses said: "What you have brought is sorcery, Allah will surely make it of no effect. Verily, Allah does not set right the work of Al-Mufsidun (the evil-doers, corrupters). (81) "And Allah will establish and make apparent the truth by His Words, however much the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) may hate it." (82)” [THK: S 10: V 79-82].
“They said:"O Moses! Either you throw first or we be the first to throw?" (65) [Moses] said: "Nay, throw you (first)!" Then behold, their ropes and their sticks, by their magic, appeared to him as though they moved fast. (66) So Moses conceived fear in himself. (67) We (Allah) said: "Fear not! Surely, you will have the upper hand. (68) "And throw that which is in your right hand! It will swallow up that which they have made. That which they have made is only a magician's trick, and the magician will never be successful, to whatever amount (of skill) he may attain." (69) So the magicians fell down prostrate. They said: "We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses." (70)” [THK: S 20: V 65-70].
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
“Say (O Muhammad to these polytheists or disbelievers): "O Al-Kafirun (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Resurrection, and in Al-Qadar [(Divine Preordainments)])! (1) "I worship not that which you worship, (2) "Nor will you worship that which I worship. (3) "And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping. (4) "Nor will you worship that which I worship. (5) "To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism)." (6)” [THK: S 109: V 1-6].
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
