The gunman looked down at Sarah sadistically, as she hunched over in pain. Sarah looked up, tears streaming down her face, "I don't want to die here. I have so much more life to live. I can't die here," she thought to herself, as she tried to catch her breath and steady her heart. As pain shot through her body and her vision began to blur, a small fire within her began to grow, and memories she hadn't consciously activated in years, began to unfold in her mind. A life of rigorous physical and mental training, stealth maneuvers in the shadows, and secret missions. They were all buried deep, within her subconscious, but now, they're surging to the surface with an intense sense of urgency, that defied the agony coursing through her veins.
With a fierce determination, Sarah gripped the knife that was still lodged in her side, and in a swift, fluid motion, she yanked it out. The gunman gaping in shock, his eyes widening as she lunged forward, plunging the knife into his neck. Blood sprayed, painting the sterile office walls and her desk crimson red. The gunman tumbled backwards holding his neck and falling to the floor. He gasped for air, as his life began to slowly slip away. The other armed men heard the commotion and ran over, seeing one of their men on the floor and Sarah covered in his blood. The armed men exchanged panicked glances, "You fucking bitch," one of the gunman said before raising his gun to shoot Sarah.
The bullets whizzed passed her, the chaos buzzing like angry bees in her ears. But Sarah was no longer just your regular CEO secretary - she was now a force of nature, her instincts honed to a razor's edge. In the throes of survival she grabbed the wounded gunman off the floor, using his limp, almost dead body, as a shield against the incoming fire.
Bullets whizzed through the air like fireworks, hitting walls, desks, and anything else in its wake, raining debris all around them. As the chaos unfolds, the cowering employees sat shocked, as they watched their colleague move with lethal precision, like an assassin. "Let's get the fuck outta here while they are distracted," one employee quickly whispers. "What about Mr. Harrington?" Another one says. "Fuck Mr. Harrington, he's the reason we are in this mess and as you can see, his ass ain't came out that office to save us or call the cops," another employee responded through gritted teeth.
"What if there are other gunmen out there waiting?" They pause, swallowing the lump of spit in their throat, " and we can't just leave Sarah," they continue saying. "We will just have to cross that bridge when we get there, but for right now we need to make it outta here alive, and clearly Sarah can hold her own, as you can see," the employee said pointing in Sarah's direction. "Also we can't call the cops until we get out of here, so let's go. Now!" The employee slightly yelled, and ran towards the exit. While all the other employees followed. Sarah watched as her colleagues ran to safety. "Good they will now be safe," she says to herself.
The adrenaline surges, as she pressed forward, the horrible reality of her actions eclipsed by the need for survival. "Not today, I'm not fucking dying here today," she hissed under her breath. With every step she advanced on the armed men, using the other gunman's bloody and limp body to block the incoming bullets. The armed men hesitated, their eyes widen with disbelief, at the sight of their wounded comrade being wielded like a shield."What's gotten into this bitch," one of the gunman said "I don't know, but the reports only said she was a regular secretary," said another.

"Regular secretary my ass, this bitch is definitely one of Mr.Harrington's secret enforcers," another one said in response. Sarah drew closer to the armed men, using the element of surprise she lunged the gunman's now dead body towards one of the gunmen that was in front of her, causing him to fall backwards in shock. As he tried to get his comrade's dead body off of him, Sarah used this momentary distraction to slide past him on the floor, grabbing the knife outta of the other gunman's neck in one swift and quick motion, to come up from behind him, and slit his throat from ear to ear. She then grabbed his gun that he dropped when he fell, and took cover behind a desk to quickly catch her breath.
Sarah slowly peered over the desk, to see where the armed men stood. They were approaching her right side and were about 3 feet away from her. Sarah slowly moved towards the left side of the desk, trying to be as quiet as possible. "Where did she go," one gunman said. " I don't know," says the other. Sarah slowly peered around the desk seeing that the armed men's backs were towards her. She discreetly got up and shot one of the armed men in the back of their head, causing the other men to quickly turn around and open fire. Sarah quickly ducked back behind the desk, looking for another weapon. She proceeded to grab a pair of scissors from atop of the desk. Sarah quickly ran around to the other side of the office, pressing her back up against the wall.
She then picked up some pens from off the floor, and threw them, to get the remaining armed men to move towards her. The armed men started to move mechanically towards Sarah's hiding spot. One of the gunmen snapped his fingers and quietly told the other man to walk around to the other side, so they could corner her in, while he stealthily walked towards the other end of the office.
As the second gunman rounded the corner where Sarah was hiding, Sarah quickly stabbed him in the leg with the scissors causing him to growl in pain. When he takes his sights off Sarah for a second, she upper cuts him, causing him to fall very hard backwards, crashing into a table and breaking it. Sarah then quickly upped her gun and shot him a few times, once in the head and twice in the chest.
The last armed man remaining, came up from the other side of the office, and ran over, as Sarah quickly turned around and shot him in his stomach, making him drop instantly. As the last gunman fell, the office was left with a deafening silence, except for Sarah's heavy breathing. " Wha.. Wha.. What just happened?" "What did I do?" She asked herself as she looked around the office in disbelief. The office, once a bustling workspace, had been transformed into a scene of utter horror and devastation.
Overturned furniture, bullet holes, broken tables, shattered glass, and the lifeless bodies of the gunman lay scattered around her, a testament to the extraordinary events that just unfolded. Sarah's mind raced as she tried to make sense of things. How was it possible that she possessed such extraordinary abilities, skills that had lain dormant until this moment of crisis. The implications were both exhilarating and deeply unsettling, for she knew that her life had been irrevocably altered.
Turning her attention to her boss's office, she debated on whether to confront him or not. Sarah knew the police would be arriving soon, and she needed to decide quickly, either stay and wait for the police or confront her boss before he escapes. With a deep breath Sarah marched towards her boss's office, because she knew if she didn't confront him now she'd never get the chance to.
Sarah grabbed the door handle, and began to yank on it forcefully. Realizing that wasn't working, she then scanned around the office looking for something to break the door down. She then saw the fire extinguisher in the corner next to her desk. She picked it up and slammed it onto the door handle over and over and over again, until it gave way and broke. Sarah aggressively kicked the door in, and saw Mr. Harrington packing up his things, and almost about to escape through a secret passage in his office.
