Using a variety of tricks (those explained already or similar to them) the Young Master eventually enslaved a majority of the Heroes, and assassinated the more troublesome free Heroes (which was most of them), and began to enact his master plan. After many lectures, beatings, and punishment assignments to swamps and sewers, the Heroes were finally trained to only slay monsters actually attacking humans, instead of just rampaging through the wilderness, slaying every monster in their path. Without the mana released by those rampages, monster outbreaks became far less frequent.
The Young Master did not neglect public order either. Heroes proved to be excellent at removing bandits and slavers, when they were actually moving according to a plan instead of just randomly running into them. Between those raids and the loss of their best customers, the slave-trade was largely suppressed. Some officials wanted to bring back the pre-Hero crime slave system, but they gave that up due to public outcry. It was later proclaimed that only Heroes were despicable enough to deserve slavery.
The anger of the demi-humans began to fade as more and more of their kin were freed, and the Heroes responsible enslaved instead. The Young Master helped along by dispatching several slave Heroes to help demi-human nations with monster outbreaks. As an added bonus, the Heroes came back so traumatized by the way the demi-humans treated them that they would work twice as hard to avoid being sent there again.
Strangely, the Young Master who’s plans worked so brilliantly was never seen celebrating... or seen at all soon enough. However, Zellus assured everyone that the Young Master was just fine, and they should just ignore those letters with “HELP” written on them that kept falling from his bedroom window. The staff quickly accepted this. After all, they had spent years ignoring similar letters falling from the Duke’s window, ever since the Young Master informed everyone that his father needed some rest, and he would be managing the dukedom from now on.
With the Duke and the Young Master both “resting”, Ifective took over managing the slave Heroes, the dukedom, and soon enough, all the other nobles’ territory as well, once they had been... persuaded... to see things her way. The people of Klishay would remember her as The Shadow Empress.

In fact, the world of Klishay became so prosperous so quickly, it aroused the envy of Gods and Goddesses from other worlds. Those Gods and Goddesses had spent three centuries looking down on the Benevolent Goddess for the sorry state of her world. Seeing it turn around so quickly, they began spying on Klishay. What they found was a group of “Heroes from Earth” diligently fixing Klishay’s problems. Convinced they had found the Benevolent Goddesses secret, they all began summoning Earthlings to their own swords and magic worlds, with rather... mixed... results. The upside was all this summoning took enough pressure off Klishay’s portal for the Benevolent Goddess to finally close it.
Oh and as for Gobu’Smkt, he became a great chief and was able to slowly civilize the goblins, eventually making them accepted by the other sentient races... just kidding! Actually, a famine struck the tribe he was with, and after much “thought” the goblins decided the best solution was cannibalism. Naturally starting with that weird and annoying outsider, Gobu’Smkt.
However! Gobu’Smkt was reincarnated a second time, this time as a mighty Black Dragon named Furi’us Weerm! Filled with bottomless hatred and resentment, Furi’us Weerm at once set out to avenge himself against the whole world of Klishay... only to be chased back to his nest by (irony of ironies) an ordinary goblin. Finally remembering how long dragons take to mature, Furi’us Weerm spent the next two centuries sulking *cough* I mean... gathering his strength, before getting back to that apocalyptic vengeance thing.
Finally ready, Furi’us Weerm began his rampage which, surprisingly, actually was quite devastating. For three years, Furi’us Weerm spread terror and despair across Klishay, proving himself to be a true Hero after all. As a result, all the sentient races of Klishay banded together to slay the foul beast, restoring the ancient alliances destroyed by the Heroes.
Oh, and due to all the rebuilding needed, the demons elected a new Demon King with big plans for infrastructure. He also has some ideas about reforming their kingdom's justice system. It’s just too bad the humans stuck with inherited leaders. Their new king seems like a real idiot.
