Alan arrived home angrier than he had probably been in his entire life, he was glad the house was empty so that he could calm down without anybody taking notice, he’d gotten plenty of surprised looks on his way home from school, mainly from the students who were going about their day as well as people around town, some even had the courage to try and great him but all they got back in response would be a mumble as Alan pushed his wheelchair home.
AS he entered his room, he picked up his mobile that he had left on the his dresser and quickly texted his mum and sister, letting them know he was all right and at home with the only explanation being that the student council had allowed him a three day leave.
After waiting for ten minutes for the replies to come back, one of which was in block capitals his sister promising divine retribution, on certain faculty members did he finally managed to achieve some measure of calmness. ‘Three days hu, i wonder if i can truly lose myself in this,’ he thought as he gazed at the Royal Road capsule.

Logging on, Allwind found himself looking at a wooden door, ‘last time i logged in, i appeared inside what’s going on?’ he wondered looking around he found himself outside the Gym, where he had been training, the door in front of him was locked turning back towards the main house he was court by surprise to see Lilly standing upside down against the house wall in a perfect handstand.
“Granddad will be back soon,” she said trying to blow her hair out of the way so she could see Allwind, to talk to him.
“You’re getting better at handstands, i see.”
“Yup and you’re angry, are you angry at me?”
“No not you, just some stupid people that i had to meet earlier,”
“Ow, were they bad people?”
“They could be labelled that way yes.”
“Shouldn’t you punish them?”
“Punish them, why?”
“Because you’re a knight right, you should punish bad people,”
“It’s not as simple as that unfortunately,” Allwind sighed wishing it really was that simple.
Suddenly a new voice joined the conversation “he’s right Lilly the continents are not that simple and neither are people.”
“You were listening?” Allwind ask turning to the instructor as he aproched.
“I heard most of the convocation. It seems like you’re ready to move on to the next stage of training, are you ready for the next stage? I can promise you one thing, it will be allot tougher than any think you can imagine.”
“I started this i will finish the training,” Allwind replied wanting to get back to practising.

“I accept” Allwind said glancing at Lilly who had now righted herself and was smiling at him, as her granddad unlocked the door to the gym.
Inside had changed drastically, there were now three training dummy’s, and allot more mats spread around the floor, as well as the old Equipment, the most startling change though was the appearance Scarecrows that were now in the room.
Instead of the usual dummy these seemed more like monsters, they had iron chest armour for a start in one hand they seemed to be holding what could only be described as a lance and in the other a shield.
Allwind slowly approached the new scarecrow marvelling at its construction, just as he was about to reach out and touch it the lance on one of its arms moved incredibly quickly, rotating the upper half of the scarecrow, sending Allwind flying backwards off his feet, thankfully the mats on the floor absorbed the impact of his landing.
“IT MOVED,” Allwind shouted in surprise.
“You don’t expect monsters and the enemy, to stand still while you try to kill them do you this is training real training.” The Instructor said calmly.
“Sorry i just wasn’t expecting that.” Allwind replied looking sheepish.
“You will have to expect the unexpected from now on if you are going to continue training.”
“So i have to attack it without getting hit, this is going to be interesting?” Allwind said as he headed to the weapons rack and retrieved the two short swords that he usually used.
This time when he approached the scarecrow he was ready, dodging the first attack he managed to land one of his own but didn’t count on the scarecrow turning all the way around and sending him flying again this time with it shield.
“I can see why people have not passed this training course.” He said picking himself back up from the floor.
“You may quit any time you want,” the instructor replied looking slightly depressed.
“Cheer up old man we’re just getting started” Allwind replied as he charged at the scarecrow.
‘I will pass this training’ was the thought in his head as he dodged under the swinging lance, ‘besides this is good for stress relief,’ stepping back he took a look around the room his gaze drawn, to the walking beam that had two scarecrows next to it, ‘if this one moves chances are they do to, so much fun.’
