Seclusion
Allwind escaped the square with his pride and his identity relatively in tacked, before beginning what he thought, would be the hardest task in any world, trying to find Lillian’s home and then explaining to her parents what had happened and why she was currently sticking to his back wet through.
He sighed at the monumental task ahead of him, he knew that if his younger sister turned up at the front door in the same state, paralyzed or not he would kick the other persons back side down the road.
So he was somewhat afraid, when Lillian informed him that they had reached her house, from the look at the front of the house, anybody would have been afraid to enter never mind come close, the front was a shambles, the garden was barren, even the paint on the house walls looked like it was pealing away.
Allwind slowly approached the front door if it wasn’t for the fact that Lillian had started to shiver on his back he would have left not to mention that several system messages, had appeared in front of him informing him that he had court a cold this had come as quiet, a shock to begin with, as he had no idea that he could catch a cold in a game, the effects were starting to take their toll on him as his movements were becoming slow, knocking quiet loudly on the door, “go away, we paid the tax yesterday,” a female voice from inside answered, leaving Allwind quiet shocked there wasn’t a sign of the voice opening the door.
Knocking again the voice answered with the same line “looks like I need to do that then” Allwind thought to himself before taking a deep breath, “open up or I kick this door in, its an emergency,” he shouted at the top of his voice, the person on the other side of the door could be heard complaining, quietly as they opened the door slightly to reveal an old women.
“I don’t know you go away.” She cried out, Allwind was ready for what was coming next, as he expected the old women on the other side, tried to slam the door in his face however he managed to get his foot into the doorway causing the old women to curse, “you don’t know me but you should know your own daughter,” Allwind snapped more violently than he had intended to, as he turned to the side revealing Lillian’s wet form.
Ten minutes later he found himself sat in front of a hot roaring fire, a pot of porridge in front of him and a blanket around his shoulders, the old women turned out to be Lillian’s grandmother, who had apologised for her and her granddaughters behaviour, her grandfather was also some were in the big house.
The house itself was warm and surprisingly clean, compared to the outside. Inside it seemed that the kitchen, dining and living rooms were all one big room, with a long table and chairs in the middle of the room. A sofa and large cushions to sit on were at the opposite end to the kitchen with a really large fire place located in the middle of the room, there were three doors one leading to the front of the house another upstairs and a third at the back of the room, just then Lillian’s grandfather came into the room from the back door.
The old man was quiet angry, first he demanded to know why there was a foreigner in the main room, before demanding to know why his granddaughter was wet through. It took half an hour of careful explaining to calm the old man down, Allwind recounted everything he could remember, from the moment he had logged in to coming to the house.
The old man listened quietly, “thank you young man, you have saved my only granddaughter from harm at great danger to yourself, I’m afraid I don’t have any reward to give you.” He said standing next to Lillian.

“I did not save her for a reward,” Allwind said calmly smiling at the pair, the heat from the fire and the porridge, had finally worked their magic on him, releasing him from his in game cold, his stats had gone back to normal so he was free to go train in the plaza again.
“Now if you will excuse me, I need to go train,” Allwind said standing up and stretching before turning to leave. “Wait young man, you said you are going to go train but you do not need a reward, then you must be a knight in training.” The old man said looking at Allwind with light in his eyes. “That is true.” Allwind replied not knowing what knight in training meant.
“Follow me then, it happens that I might have something that will be of ample reward to you for saving my granddaughter,” the old man said heading for a back door a slightly confused Allwind following behind.
Allwind stood in shock at the sight before his eyes, the old man had taken him through the back door and into an even bigger room this one however contained everything from Allwind’s dreams, “You, You have your own gym,” he cried. “Yes this is a knights training room, you may train here as a reward for saving my granddaughter,” the old man said, as Allwind slowly walked around the gym, running his hands over familiar equipment as he did so the old man explained what each piece of equipment was for.
The balance beam will teach you how to use your feet, he stated as allwind walked alongside the low narrow beam that was supported on stilts and came up to his waist, after the hopes that are suspended from the roof will increase your upper body strength.
Allwind stopped suddenly gazing at a rack of weapons and a training dummy. “That is a scarecrow you will learn to use a sword or your own preferred weapon against it.”
“Can i really train here?” Allwind asked trying to keep the excitement out of his voice it wouldn’t do to act like a spoilt child in a candy store. “If you are willing to undergo knighthood training then yes you may i am only offering you this chance because you saved my granddaughter.”
