Chapter 21

“Half a million dead, 15 elders at the half step of the immortal ascension killed. Who did it?! Was it another supreme sect?”

“Elder, I have a projection crystal transmitted by another disciple”

“Show me!”

A gray crystal lay in the hands of a messenger. He sent in his qi and a recording of what just transpired appeared.

“That…that is the daughter of elder Botan! Also that person…. He has A DAO SEED! QUICKLY INFORM THE SECT MASTER!” Everyone scrambled to notify the sect master. This news was just too big not to say anything.

As the Roaring Dragons Sect was busy informing and making plans, Relic and Pascal were saying good bye to the Snake.

“You have done your duty, you may now leave.” Relic tossed the snake several rare cultivation resources.

The eye of the snake bulged wide open upon seeing the reward

“Senior…..this is too much.”

It really was too much as all it did was act as a mount for not even a day. It didn't even have to fight!

“It’s alright, I will not be needing it anymore. Good luck in your cultivation.”

The snake was taken by surprise and could not help but feel admiration to this senior. He bowed his head to both Relic and Pascal before leaving.

Relic looked around him and activated his divine sense. Instantly, he scanned through the entire region of the Roaring Heavens Sect. Generally, only those ascended as an immortal could achieve such a thing.

At the same time he felt an intense glare looking back at him. His divine sense was detected by several powerful individuals who sent their divine sense back at him..

“Master, it is time for the final battle.”

“En.” She nodded.

Currently four speeding individuals headed towards Relic and Pascal. Within a few moments they all appeared before the two.

“We were thinking of a plan to deal with you two, but since you wanted to scope us out, it seems you want to fight now.” The sect master looked coldly at the two.

When his eyes landed on Pascal he let out a sigh. “Pascal, my son caused you a lot of trouble. Although it may not seem like much, I offer you an apology.” He bowed his head. “We only want the one with the Dao seed. If you surrender now, I will offer you whatever you want to make up for the troubles my son caused.”

Pascal did not respond and only looked coldly at the sect master.

He could not help but sigh a second time. He then turned to Relic.

“You have killed many and there is no way to atone for your crimes. We will kill you but I promise as long as Pascal does not get in our way, we will not kill her.” he said in a soft voice.

He summoned out a red great sword. It radiated tyrannical aura that seemed to supress the heavens. This was undoubtedly a transcendent weapon used by immortals.

The other three also summoned transcendent weapons which did not lose out to the great sword. All four were ascended immortals who chosen to stay in their sect instead of going out to adventure.

Relic similarly summoned his own weapon. These were not opponents he could mindlessly slaughter.

“Blue world”

Instantly, Relic’s domain encompassed a region stretching out thousands of kilometers. The area of its reach quickly astonished the immortals.

“So this is the power of the Dao seed.” Their own domain’s protected them from the effect of Relic’s domain.

With a wave of his hands hundreds of thousands of mist blotches appeared within the domain which then congealed into frozen spears. With a flick of his wrists all the spears headed towards the immortals.

“With the essence of Fire, Transcending the world, come forth, the flames of the fire Dao!”

“With the essence of Fire, Transcending the world, come forth, the Strength of the fire Dao!”

“With the essence of wind, transcending the world, come forth, the blades of the wind Dao!”

“With the essence of lightning, transcending the world, come forth, the Strength of the Lightning Dao!”

They met the frozen spears with their own magical techniques.

Half of them used magical attacks to meet the frozen spears while the others strengthened their bodies with the essence of Dao.

The frozen spears crumbled away at the might of these immortals. However, as if they were endless, more frozen spears showed up and continued to attack the immortals.

At that moment, Relic disappeared and reappeared in front of the women immortal.

“So fast!”

His spear lunged 60,000 times in a single second towards the immortal. Her dual wielded blue fans tried to meet the insane speed of the spear. However, the speed of the spears was too fast and several attacks punctured holes in her body.

“Die!”

A second immortal appeared to his side, and with a giant flaming hammer, aimed at Relic’s head. Relic quickly retreated and vanished from their sight.

“You okay?”

“Yea…. He really is too fast.” She said as blood dripped from her mouth

Their quick conversation ended as more frozen spears chased them

“Quickly, we need to summon the guardian!” The sect master sound rang out and all the immortals headed towards him.

The four looked at each other and nodded their heads. They locked arms as they spoke the words of enchantment.

“With the essence of wind, transcending the world, come forth, the immortal giant!”

“With the essence of fire, transcending the world, come forth, the immortal giant!”

“With the essence of fire, transcending the world, come forth, the immortal giant!”

“With the essence of lightning, transcending the world, come forth, the immortal giant!”

The pressure of the air suddenly increased. A force surround the four immortals which not even the frozen spears could penetrate. A rift suddenly opened in front of them and an almighty being emerged. Its body was made of flames. Circular wind disks appeared behind its back and a mighty Chakaram, radiating with lightning, was held in its hands.

“Guardian, destroy that man!” The sect master said as he pointed to Relic in the distance.

“You think that can stop me?” Relic sneered.

His hair suddenly turned increasingly turned white as he made an incantation gesture.

“With the essence of ice,  With the Dao in my name, come forth, the frozen army of hell!”

Another rift opened. Thousands of red eyes peered through the rift. Cackling laughs could be heard coming from the other side as small imps stepped out of the rift.

“Destroy that giant!” Relic commanded.

The small imps wielded up their pitch forks and charged towards the giant. Their speed surpassed even Relic and instantly appeared in front of the giant. Their pitchforks landed on every part of the giant who tried miserably to attack them. However, its efforts could only be met with one or two imps being crushed. Its body slowly turned to ice and chipped away.

“I-impossible, even the guardian is unable to best him.” One of the immortals stared at what was happening with bulging eyes.

“We still have time, we must kill him before the giant is finished!” the sect leader said.

The four immortals joined together to attack Relic.

Frozen spears came at their group but the immortal were coordinated and covered each other’s weak spots.

Relic was now fighting against all four immortals. His speed allowed him to quickly dodge the incoming attacks but every time he dodged a second attack would come, leaving him with no time to relax.

Outside the radius of the battle stood many members of the Roaring Dragons sect who were watching with fear and awe. This was something they had never seen. It was a battle between gods!

Every attack sent chills down their spines.

“This is simply amazing!” one of the people in the group said

“Should we be helping, it doesn’t seem like the four immortals are unable to get the upper hand?” another said

“How could we help? Our attacks would not even tickle the intruder.”

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

“Hmph, that intruder is already dead. To be so arrogant as to journey to the center of my Roaring Dragons Sect, how does he expect to live?” This was spoken out of the lips of a young man. He wore extravagant golden armour and exuded an aura of intelligence.

This is the same young man who humiliated Pascal; only, he now seemed different than he once did.

While everyone was focused on the battle, no one noticed a women staring at them in the distance. Pascal saw the golden armoured young master who had made her suffer countless humiliations. For the first time this trip, her eyes were red with hatred.

She carefully and quickly went into hiding so that no one could detect her.

She hid silently and stealthily, before long, she was in an attacking position of the young master.

With a quick burst of speed, she held a sword at the throat of the young master and restricted his every movement.

“Who……you! Pascal….” The young master gasped in shock at the person who now held his life in her palm.

“Let the young master go!” She was quickly encircled by the members of the Roaring Dragons Sect. None of them dared to get to close as she could kill him with a single swipe.

“Young Master, Bu Mou, I’m glad you remember me.” Her tone was cold and full of hatred.

“Pascal, you are surrounded, you don’t have any possible retreat. Release me!” He gnashed his teeth.

“Why would I release you when I just caught you? Don’t you think you are being a bit too idiotic?”

The sound of battle suddenly stopped as the group fighting noticed the situation that happened.

“Stop, do not hurt my son!” the sect master screamed.

He charged towards her only to be stopped by Relic.

“Your son has caused many atrocious acts which have affected many people. Do you not think it is time for his retribution?” His voice was similarly cold and murderous as he talked to the sect master.

“Wait, I know what my son has done to you is inexcusable, but he has changed.” He looked worriedly at Pascal. “He has grown up and no longer does those sorts of things.”

“Yes….. It was my fault. I was young and impulsive at that time and I thought it was my right to do whatever I wanted. I know I have wronged you, but if you release me I will do anything I can to right my wrong.” His tone made it sound genuine and also carried an air of maturity.

“If I had not shown up today how would you have made it up to me? You forced me to live a life of misery and humiliation. If not for my disciple finding me, I would already be dead. How could you possibly make it up to me?” tears welled up in her eyes.

“……” Bu Mou had no retort, as he really didn’t know what to say.

“It’s fine, this life has already been taken by you. I’m merely living on borrowed time.” She looked to her disciple and smiled.

Swiiish

The blade slit across Bu Mou’s throat, instantly killing him.

“You…. I’LL KILL YOU!” The sect master’s face was completely red as he pointed to Relic.

Instantly, she was attacked by all those around her who cried out their young master’s name. Their attacks were met with a protective barrier which shattered after a couple of attacks. An attack managed to slip through and hit her in the chest, sending her flying.

Relic appeared behind her and caught her.

“It’s time to end this battle.” He said.

The surrounding people all backed away but the four immortals flew towards him in a rage.

He took out a completely black pill. The pill disintegrated in his hand and black mist expanded outwards towards all direction.

“Poison?” the immortals were all apprehensive of this poison as it was used by the person with the Dao seed. He would not use such a thing if it didn’t have any effect.

However, there was still one person who charged mindlessly into the cloud of black mist. This was the sect master who was currently enthralled with rage over the death of his son.

At first contact, the sect master was sent in a shock at the changes in his body.

“My…how can this be! My Qi is disappearing!”

As soon as the mist was close enough to sect master, it instantly begun to eat and drain the Qi within and around his body. Within moments his cultivation realm dropped from the immortal to the golden world realm. It continued to drop through the realms until he was no more than a mortal man.

“How can…. this be…..!” He dropped to the floor, unconscious.

As if giving new life, the black mist suddenly increased in mass and shot outwards in even greater speeds!

The sect members all tried to run but they could not escape the mist. One by one they fell unconscious as their cultivation vanished from their body. The Qi the black mist ate only fueled itself and continued to spread.

The remaining three immortals all fled in terror at the scene. They shot through the air at their greatest speed, disappearing from the area within seconds.

As the mist expands, it continues to engulf any cultivators’ unluckily enough to come across it. The expansion will slow down as it gets larger, but so long as there was cultivators to supply it energy it would continue to expand.

From this day, the Roaring Dragons sect will be no more!
