This is my world!

I was walking on a silent road, vibing to music with my earphones connected to my smartphone. Well, I’m 17 and I have my own smartphone now, thanks to my parents. But that’s not the important thing. I’m actually in big trouble now... Aaaah man, why does this always happen to me?

NO WAYYYYYYYYYY... I am lost in my first chapter...

"Hey, you idiot! If you don’t know the direction, why do you always try to act so cool when we go out together?"

"Ah, sorry. Let’s try to find someone and ask for directions."

"You idiot! Not again. Last time you asked someone, and we ended up here."

"Hey, look over there. There are some people. Let’s go and at least ask where we are."

"Hello, sir, can you tell us where we are right now? Because of my stupid friend, we ended up here."

"Oh really? I’m always ready to help a lady as beautiful as you. Come with me, I’ll show you the way."

[Whispering] "Hey Neha, I don’t think going with this guy is a good idea. We should ask somebody else."

"Shut up, you moron. Just follow. Nothing’s gonna happen."

We went with the guy into a dark valley. He suddenly stopped and started looking at us, smiling creepily.

"Hey sir, where are we?" Neha asked.

"Kukuku... WE ARE IN HELL! AND YOU ARE THE SACRIFICE I NEED TO REGAIN MY FULL POWER."

After he said that, everything around us went blank, like some kind of other dimension. I couldn’t see anything, but I could sense what was happening. It felt like dead people were trying to escape, like half-dead zombies. They weren’t hungry for human flesh, but they were desperate to leave this dimension. It felt like they were begging for help, asking for mercy. At that moment, my mind went blank. I don’t know what happened next or how I ended up in my bed.

"Hey Shiva, wake up already! Your dad is ready, so get ready or else you’ll be late for your train."

[Hello everyone, my name is Shivam. I live in a small village called Sono. There are five members in my family, including me. I have an elder sister and an elder brother. I’m the youngest, and because of that, they sometimes don’t take me seriously.]

Flashback...

Mom: "Hey Shiva, where is the money I gave you to buy groceries? Don’t tell me you bought snacks instead."

Shivam: "Mom, a pig ate the money you gave me."

(Actually, he did buy snacks and ate them himself but was afraid he might get punished for it.)

Mom: "You again!"

Slap!

Mom: "How many times have I told you not to lie to me? It’s okay if you ate something, but you should never lie. Understood?"

Shivam: "Sob! Sob! Sob! Okay, mom."

Ahem ahem! Well, that was just one time.

Flashback again...

This time Shivam was in class 7 with his friend Ishu. The conversation started with their parents’ names.

"Hey Ishu, what’s your parents’ names? You tell me first, then I’ll tell you mine," Shivam asked curiously.

Ishu: "Oh really? My parents’ names are... [same names as Shivam’s parents]."

The next day...

"Mom, how long are you planning to hide the truth from me?" Shivam asked, disappointed.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" she asked, completely confused.

"I’m talking about my brother Ishu. How long are you planning to hide that I have one more brother?" Shivam said furiously.

"What are you even talking about?" She was still confused about what was going on.

Then Shivam told the whole story to his mother and got embarrassed after realizing the truth.

Okay, that’s enough!

Back to the topic, today is my first day at college. But before that, I have to register at the hostel because the college is in another state. So, I am going to the railway station right now, and I am already late, thanks to that shitty dream I just had. But I don’t know why, something feels off. It feels like someone is watching me.

Shivam and his father went to the college and registered smoothly. After that, when his father was about to leave him in the hostel, he met with him and told him to take care of himself from now on. It was an emotional moment because it’s hard to leave your son behind somewhere you don’t know much about.
