“Let’s try the Elemental Embrace Society. They specialize in mastering elemental manipulation. I’m sure we can join this club together,” Veer said, looking at the front gate of the Elemental Embrace Society with determination.
After standing in line for two hours, they finally got the chance to meet with the vice leader. “Hey Shivam, last time I went first. This time, you go ahead and give your testing result first, okay?” Veer said in a low tone.
“Alright, but you have to promise me this: if I get rejected again, you will join this club if they select you and reject me. Deal?” Shivam said seriously.
Veer looked at Shivam’s serious face and promised him. “I will join the club if you get rejected, but I won’t stop following you. If you get rejected here, we’ll find another club together. Is that okay with you?” Veer smiled.
“You won’t listen to me even if I refuse, so do whatever you want,” Shivam said, trying to look away.
“Ha ha ha… What! Are you too embarrassed to admit you don’t want me to leave you alone, huh?” Veer teased.
“Go to hell, man… I said do whatever you want.” Shivam tried to hide his embarrassment.

“Okay, okay… I won’t force you to say it out loud. Just take a breath.” Veer mocked Shivam again.
“You…” Shivam controlled his frustration.
Beside the counter desk, a beautiful girl sat, engrossed in her computer screen. When Shivam entered the office, she looked at him with a neutral, emotionless face. “Give me your PS testing result,” she said coldly.
Shivam planned to give a proper introduction but, sensing her disinterest, simply handed over the documents. “Here you go.”
The girl inspected the documents seriously. “You know you have a very high PS, don’t you?” she said, looking at him.
“Yeah, that’s what a senior told me,” Shivam replied.
“Well, even if I allow you to join, you won’t be able to participate in any activities or earn points. I suggest looking for another club. This one isn’t suitable for your PS.” She passed the documents back.
“Does PS matter that much?” Shivam asked.
“It’s not that people with high PS can’t do anything, but your PS is way too high. You’ll likely never control it perfectly. So, we can’t accept you now. Maybe in the future, if you learn to control it. But I doubt it. You can leave now.” She turned back to her computer.
Shivam left the club, looking dejected. He waited for Veer.
After a while, Veer came out holding a badge. Shivam smiled. “So you finally joined a club, huh? You owe me a treat.”
“Don’t worry, name anything. What about you?” Veer asked.
“Rejected again. Same reason: too much PS,” Shivam said.
“Don’t worry, there are still many clubs left. You’ll find one,” Veer encouraged.
Veer went to complete his registration, leaving Shivam alone. Shivam decided not to give up and tried other clubs alone.

After getting rejected from at least 15 clubs, Shivam was depressed and decided to give up for the day. “It’s almost evening and I’ve tried so many clubs, but always got rejected for the same reason. I really am unlucky. Anyway, Veer asked me to come to the principal’s office… I guess that’s the only thing left to do today.”
