Entry 39: Tabitha Slays a God
“No! Wait!” the other her squeaked, the pitch of the double’s voice slightly higher than usual.
Tabitha paid her other self’s protest no mind, bounding up the ethereal stairway, Tears of the Lost held firmly in her grip. The once raging rainstorm began to ease up, slowing to a light drizzle. Small drops of red pattered down upon the translucent stairs as the pink haired girl ascended, crimson water splashing in her wake.
Above her (at the apex of the otherworldly stairs), a gigantic eye (cloaked in many tentacles) loomed. The horrific red eye glared at the coming woman, glared at the glowing dagger in her hand. A mix of rage and dread flooded from the monstrosity, its pupil narrowing, its tentacles lashing out in a disordered manner.
With some quick footwork, Tabitha avoided the haphazard attacks, the mighty tentacles crashing down again and again. She did not stop. Weaving from side to side as needed, she climbed higher, drawing closer to The Wretched Eye.
She arrived at her destination, the apex of the stairs, the place right in front of that monstrous eye. Brandishing the Tears of the Lost, she plunged the god killing blade right into the dark god’s enormous pupil. Its flesh split and bubbled, its tentacles flailing about. She turned and began running back down the stairs, fleeing from the dying beast behind her, ducking its tentacles as she went. With a final leap, she rolled to a stop, now back on the tower’s rooftop.

Entry 40: Tabitha Slays a God (Part 2)
“Payback is mine!” the red eyed Tabitha yelled, standing over her brown eyed self, a shard of the shattered ceremonial dagger held in her hand. Poised to stab, she had a crazed look to her eye, quite clearly not over the whole getting kneed between the legs thing. Glaring at the original Tabitha, she drew the shard back but suddenly stopped, the sharp bit of metal slipping from her fingers.
“What the …?” The pink haired woman stepped back, the world becoming fuzzy. She turned her crimson eyes to her hands, trying to focus on them, swaying unsteadily as she continued moving back.
“What did you do to …? Gah!” She quivered, her right eye beginning to bulge outwards. Grimacing in pain, she clasped her right hand over the swollen organ, her breathing raspy. “What did you do to me?!” she seethed at her other self, taking an overly shaky step back.
“It … It hurts. A~~h!” Keeping her right hand over her right eye, the unsteady woman continued wobbly backwards. She took a final step back and stepped right off the tower’s rooftop, her good eye widening in horrified shock. Desperately, she reached out with both hands, yet the ledge slipped away from her.
“A~~~h!” A blood curdling scream burst forth from between her lips as the reality of the situation set in. She was plummeting from the top of a literal tower. As she fell, tears began flowing from both her eyes, mixing with the surrounding red drizzle.
