Entry 27: Nymph Is Missing
The standoff continued, the two combatants just staring at one another. The wiry tall creature refused to make a move, Tabitha watching it with suspicion. Its translucent tendrils slowly undulated as the seconds ticked by.
“Why isn’t it doing anything?” Tabitha dared not take her eyes off the monstrosity, a bead of nervous sweat rolling down her cheek. “It was trying stealth attacks before. Why, though, would it just be standing there?”
The pink haired girl turned her brown eyes to the creature’s face (well, what could be called its face). Its face lacked eyes, a nose, or even a mouth. The faceless face sent a shiver down her spine, feeling wrong to her. As suddenly as monster had originally attacked, it dissolved into the mist.
“More sneak attacks? No. Its actually gone this time. Ran away, I guess.” The short haired girl sighed in relief, a tension leaving her. “It’s gone, Nymph. You OK back there?”
She got no response (not even a giggle). “Nymph?!” she called, her voice cracking, her heart speeding up.
“Please don’t be dead! You’re my only friend here!” She frantically searched the alley but found no trace of her friend. “They took her. While I was distracted, they took her.” She dropped to her knees in dismay (tears in her brown eyes). How could she let this happen? How could she let them take her? Even with her Curiosity cheat, she had failed to notice that Nymph had been their real target.

Entry 28: Nymph Is Missing (Part 2)
Tabitha wandered the city in a daze, her brown eyes unfocused, her short pink hair wet from the ceaseless mist. A jellyfish hovered beneath her for a moment before darting off after a fish.
“Mist Geyser.” She stopped, wobbling a bit at the sudden cessation of motion. A jet of mist exploded right in front of her. Had it not been for her Curiosity cheat, she surely would have walked right into the plume. That skill given to her by that light up goddess was certainly useful, but it had failed Nymph.
Sadly, she glanced back, wishing to see the water made girl, wishing that she wasn’t alone. She had to find her, had to find her only friend in this place. She had no idea where to look though, so she just continued mindlessly wandering this place (hoping to find something).
The pink haired girl thrust her arms out, wobbling a bit to maintain balance. The whole darn city shook, the shaking threatening to knock her off her feet. However, she managed to maintain her footing, and the cerulean buildings held up just fine.
A mushroom cloud of red rose in the distance, drawing her attention, clearly visible over the buildings. Her brown eyes became focused (fixating on the rising cloud of red), and a newfound energy came to her. She would find Nymph there. Her Curiosity cheat told her that. She took off at a run, heading to the distant red, her shoes tapping upon the lake surface.
