Chapter 13 The Prison Arc (End)

Having a skeleton summon is definitely a new experience. He hasn’t talked since I summoned him, but that might be because of the summon level and well..the lack of vocal cords for one..

Once every five levels you can choose to “reforge” a spell into a better one. So, then my dear basic skeleton would become a skeleton knight and so on if I were to reforge this spell, but there are other ways to boost a spell in a sense. I wonder if the intelligence rating goes up as well.

I’ve got to think in the sense that these beings that I summon might have actual thoughts and emotions. As funny as committing war crimes can be in games I’d rather not be a toxic big titty elf.

I’ve also got no idea how long he’s been carrying me for, I do know that my arm is getting tired from holding this makeshift candle. My stamina is almost back up to full as well.

This cave feels…quiet I guess. I can’t hear anything besides the steps of my summon and my breathing.

I think I could hear the clap of my ass cheeks here honestly if I wanted to jog.

A slight shiver would go down my spine as I remembered the three eyes and what was spoken. Seraphim. I couldn’t think of what it was at the moment. I guess I’d figure it out later.

I wonder if Naoko’s alright..

Just…I hope she doesn’t die..

Also I can’t believe the Mistress prepared for something like this. I guess with the length that she’s been here she might have planned for everything. Sly as a fox is the expression I think? Or, maybe that’s not the right thing to say about her.

I wonder what she thinks about this. I..

Wait

How is she moving around? Maybe she uses the hand to float around everywhere? Seems reasonable. The size for the hand could be most likely altered. Let’s just stick to saying she’s smart.

My summon would suddenly stop which made me look at him, then look forward.

Oh..

That’s…not a pretty sight…

Blood, parts of corpses, the creeping smell of the dead were in my path. The way they were going seemed like the right way. The path however did get smaller. It’s going to become a tight fit eventually I’m guessing.

“C-Continue…just…step…over…the…dead…please..” I told my summon who continued on, following my directions.

I had to close my eyes as he walked over the corpses. It wasn’t exactly something I wanted to see or have it burned into my memory.

The smell began to fade ever so slightly which made me open my eyes again as we went further.

The surrounding cave walls seemed to change in shape if that makes sense. I think I saw glimpses of the stone from the Undercity, other caved in paths as well. That explosion was something else.

We’d reach a clearing where I’d ask my summon to put me down. I’d take a moment to look around, see if I can spot any exits, but with the limited amount of light I didn’t manage to see much.

And I don’t think shooting a Firebolt anywhere would help with that. A stationary light spell would come in really handy right now. But at least I could rest for a second.

My summon simply stood by awaiting my command. I sat down and leaned up against some stones. It wasn’t comfortable in the slightest, but it was helping with the rest. I’d still keep up the Firebolt above my finger for safety.

Some things don’t like the light if you get me.

I’d feel something rumble around me. The thought of another cave-in occurred to me, but it didn’t sound like one in my mind.

Not too far from where me and my summon were I saw something crawl through some debris. It was grunting. It wasn’t the thing that I feared would be in caves like this. I heard the gruff voice of a man. I could make out his hair and the color of his skin.

It was the Orc that spoke with Naoko from before. I didn’t see him in the crowd as the two of us ran, but I don’t think I could’ve spotted much of anyone in that chaos. He was injured from what I could see as he got to his feet. He grunted again and looked up.

We locked eyes and he straightened himself out. He took a step forward, my summon materialized his shield and sword and moved in front of me. I got to my feet as well.

“Well. Well. Well. Look what we have here?” he chuckled

He cracked his neck which made a small echo and rolled his shoulders. He wasn’t a hundred percent. Maybe sixty if I were to guess.

“You are the last one I thought I’d run into. That bitch with the tail isn’t here is she?” he asked glancing around in the dark “I can’t see that well either.”

I didn’t reply. I couldn’t even lie to him since it was pointless. He’d see right through me. As glad as I am that I have my summon I don’t think he’ll last long against this guy.

“Come on, don’t be scared girl. I don’t bite.” I could see his grin as he approached “You’ve been on my mind. I’ve never seen an Elf like you. Never raped an Elf like you and I’ve gone through plenty.” He laughed

I pointed my finger towards him with the charging Firebolt. Runes would be useless right now. My summon would move in front of me and would glance back before looking at the Orc.

“A skeleton? Ha!” he started laughing again “That’s all you got? Fun.”

My skeleton charged forward swinging his blade at the Orc. The first slashed missed and the Orc returned a hard fist into the shield. His bones cracked on his shield arm, but he swung again and got a single hit in across the chest. The Orc grinned and swiftly delivered a punch to the skeletons sternum, shattering him.

The pieces of bones flew all over before de-materializing. I let go of my spell which shot at him, striking him on the side of the face. It made him stumble and roar in pain, but the fire didn’t last long.

He looked up with an angered face and rushed forward. I tried to run, but he caught me by the neck and lifted me into the air.

“I like the fighting ones.” He said, pulling me close to him

He’d lick the side of my neck and would grope one of my breasts. I tried to scream, but he covered my mouth.

“Even better than I expected. So, tell me. Are you going to perform willingly or are you going to resist? Please, do resist.” He chuckled

I tried to get his hand off my neck, but he was too strong.

“Resisting it is then!” he said before throwing me to the wall

Slamming into the wall I felt intense pain course through my entire body. I couldn’t move as I hit the ground. I felt paralyzed.

He rolled me onto my back and got on top of me. His breath was touching my face as his hand curled along my neck. He started to squeeze.

“The only reason Orcish women are the best is because they aren’t one use like you, but don’t worry. I’ll savor this.” He told me

His other hand moved down between my legs but stopped.

He straightened himself out, letting go of my neck and looked to the wall. He was staring intensely at it.

I couldn’t hear anything. I didn’t know what he was looking at or hearing. I could try to escape, but I’d be slow. I glanced up at my health to see that half of it was gone. That throw was too strong.

But then as I contemplated about my escape or rape and death, I heard something. It felt like a high pitch buzzing, a distortion of a voice. It started to clear up to me at least.

Part of the cave wall beside us started to shine and glow..no…it was melting. Once part of the wall melted something came out walking towards us. The Orc tried to stand and get away, but he was just vaporized in front of me. Good riddance by the way.

The figure moved past and suddenly stopped. I looked to where it came from. The path it left was a straight one of melted stone. Glancing back to the thing the shadows around it disappeared.

It was him…

He looked back to me, he was just like from the dream. He came over to me and lifted me up by the shoulder. He leaned in and whispered.

“Leviathan will come. Free yourself.” He said before letting go

I fell to the ground and coughed. I summoned my skeleton again and asked him to carry me. The man pointed in a direction away from him. He didn’t speak a word, but he did start to glow. And that glow was all too familiar.

I told my summon to follow the direction and he began moving. I cast Heal on myself a few times till all my injuries were gone as we moved.

The glow from behind started getting brighter as we rushed. The path in front felt like a natural cave system, well, more natural akin to what I’ve seen so far. But then I heard something I never thought I’d would hear again.

I heard the Mistress’s voice coming from a part of the cave.

“There.” I pointed for my summon

As we got closer I could hear the exact words along with a moving crowd

“All outside! Don’t waste any more time! We’ve got five ships and five ships only!” she said

My skeleton let me down and I tapped on the wall, it was thin. I stood back and shot a Firebolt at it making noise and a crack. I did it again and again trying to break the wall, I wanted out of this fucking place!

“Mistress! There’s something on the other side here!” someone yelled from the other end

I stepped back and looked to my summon while I heard a light commotion from the other side.

“Try..and..break..it!” my voice felt weak oddly, probably exhaustion

Without missing a beat my summon slammed his sword into the wall making a much louder noise than I did with my spell. He continued doing so as the wall slowly chipped away.

I want to yell, but my throat hurts like hell. I asked my summon to stop and got close to the wall.

“H-Help..!” I yelled out as loud as I could a few times

But I couldn’t hear anything from the other end. My hands formed into a fist. I felt like I was left behind. This feeling is horrible. Please don’t leave me here to die…

“Clear a path.” I heard her voice say

I looked up, feeling the tears on my face. I stepped back from the wall and moved next to my summon.

“Mistress?” a voice asked “What are you doing?”

The wall that we started to chip away from was suddenly broken by a giant purple fist. My summon shielded me as best he could, but as the dust settled, I saw her figure. She came into my view.

Her legs an ethereal purple, her pipe in her mouth, her horns shining bright. It was the Mistress. Her gaze looked around until she saw me and my summon.

That same smile appeared on her face as she looked at me.

“A lovely sight.” She said

I couldn’t hold myself back, my summon de-materialized and ran and just hugged her with tears in my eyes. I felt her arms hug me back. She lightly laughed as she did so.

“Come now, we have a ship waiting.” She said

Right then I realized. I threw my head back and looked at her.

“W-Where’s…Naoko..!” I asked

“Safe. I found her out cold. She’ll be fine. But we must hurry.” She said

I didn’t have any reason to argue and nodded. I gently let go of her as she did of me, and we entered the other side of the broken wall. Looking to my right I saw the moving crowd. The Mistress grabbed my hand and started leading me towards them.

I guess my answers of how she gets around were answered. She just makes her own legs. Handy.

It didn’t take much to catch up with the crowd. She led me through them as they moved and they made space for her to get through.

And then I saw it.

The light at the end of the tunnel.

Freedom…

I didn’t care that my stamina was drained again. I’m not dropping dead here!

She leads me past everyone and then it hits me..

The light, the ray of sunshine. The air of the coast. My eyes would adjust to see the horde of people running towards slowly moving ships.

The docks weren’t all too impressive, they were simple, but the ships were massive. One was already far from the shore.

The sensation of stone left the soles of my feet and were replaced by wood. It felt odd. I looked up to one of the ships to see a man shouting towards the Mistress. She extended her hand and began to cast a spell.

“Creation Spell, Arm of Infinity!” she chanted

Her ethereal legs faded and a the palm of a giant purple hand ever so familiar to me appeared under her and me. The hand picked up a few others and placed us on the ship with the man.

“Aid your comrades! Unleash your gifts! Remember today is day of freedom!” she began to yell

She snapped her fingers and the hand disappeared, a few of us taking a slight fall onto the deck of the ship. Her ethereal legs reappeared instantly. I got up and looked over to see the hundreds of prisoners aiding each other in getting on board of the remaining ships.

The ship we were on began moving slightly. I looked back to the entrance, but it looked like the last wave of people had left. The buzzing sound from before appeared again.

A majority of people turned to the general direction of the prison. Next thing everyone would see is a ball of fire appearing where Leghen was. The ball got smaller and smaller until only smoke remained.

Second by second the ships were getting filled. A few prisoner shot what seemed like Fireballs at the docks and like that…

I..was free..

I was out of the prison.

I was out of the caves.

I was away from those who’d cause me harm.

I wanted to smile. I wanted to cry tears of joy, but I felt myself lose focus. I became dizzy. I felt the world turning sideways before I landed against something.

“Rest. The day is done. We have won.” Her soothing voice reached me

I felt safe. I felt tired.

My vision darkened. My eyes blinked twice before I was off to dream.

I opened my eyes once again, but I wasn’t in that odd dream place. I wasn’t in some nightmare. I was..in a bed?

With a warm blanket? Christ this felt odd, but I felt rested.

I rubbed my eyes and looked around. This room felt like something out of a TV show. What was that one show? Black Sails or something I think. Am I entering my pirate life arc?

I’d chuckle at my thoughts. Audibly chuckle I should say for the first time in a while. I stretched slightly, noticing that I was still wearing the same ragged clothes as before, but for no longer! I was free!

I’d throw my legs beside the bed and would stand, my legs feeling weak for a second before I’d stabilize myself.

Looking around I’d notice that the room wasn’t that big, and it didn’t seem all too lived in. I did read something about big ships maybe having one or two actual rooms. I am curious to look around since I don’t feel tired either. Who knows how long I slept.

Heading to the door and opening it slowly I’d step into the hull?

You know, for watching lots of pirate related media I do not know shit about this stuff, but those right there look like hammocks, so I’m guessing that is the crew quarters as non-private as it looks. And that right there is my way up!

Climbing up for a bit I’d reach the deck, my gaze instantly caught by the full moon that bathed in the night sky. Beautiful. I don’t think I’ve seen the moon in a long time. Sea air felt different too. I could feel the ship moving as well. Glad I wasn’t the sea sick type. But damn, so this is what freedom feels like..

“Ynnessa?” I heard a familiar voice say my name

I’d turn to see Naoko and Alyssum with each other looking over the waters. Without thinking I’d rush over and would hug both of them as tightly as my weak body could. I was so happy they were alive.

“Ha! Glad to see you too.” Naoko said, hugging me back

“Blue eyes, you’re crushing me with your tits.” Alyssum’s muffled voice said

The big hug lasted about a minute before me and Naoko let go, Alyssum gasping for air.

“For the love of the Fairy King.” Alyssum sighed “Yes, yes, happy everyone’s alive, not happy about the entertainment being blown to all ash!” she complained

“I’ve got no idea what that was, maybe another one of those suicide spells?” she asked me

I just shook my head, agreeing with their confusion, I don’t think I should reveal that just yet.

“Before I forget, you going to tell her?” Alyssum asked Naoko

She glanced away for a second before rubbing the back of her neck.

“I should, shouldn’t I?” she said

“W-What..” I asked

“Other ships that escaped are meeting up. A group of us Hybrids are going back to shore. Join the resistance. I’m going.” She said

I just looked sad and looked to the floor. I didn’t know what to say.

“I don’t like to ruin the party, but I’ll be leaving on another ship as well. Going to some of the Free Cities in the West, then head back to the Fairy Kingdom, I’ve had enough of Humans for my life.” She sighed

“O-Oh..” that’s all I could say, as soon as I was reunited as fast as was I getting separated from them

I wanted to be with them..

Get to know them more..

Actually have friends…

But..I can’t…force them to stay..

I…can’t…go…with…them

Because…

I’m weak…

That’s all there is too it…

“Don’t think about it for now. Get some rest.” Naoko said

“Still have a night of decisions and dreams.” Alyssum said

I’d just nod and slowly turn around and start heading back to the room I woke up in. All my excitement just like that. Gone. Because of decisions I can’t control..

I hate myself right now..

Even like this I’m just fucking pathetic…

As I was making my way back down I heard a voice call for me.

“Excuse me, you are Ynnessa?” the young Human asked me

I’d just nod.

“The Mist..er…Captain wants to see you. Her quarters are just there, past the fancy door.” He’d point behind him, I could see what he was referring to, it was a very fancy door

I’d nod again, thanking him before heading to the door. I felt my eyes water slightly before wiping them. I’d rather not look more pathetic in front of her. But I could guess what was going to happen.

Ynnessa, I’m throwing you off my ship or Ynnessa, you won’t be needed. Something that makes me end up alone..again..

I’d stop in front of the door and I’d knock.

“Enter.” The voice across spoke

I’d open the door slowly and step inside the large room. In the back I saw a window looking into the open sea, a large bed right under it to make the view even better. A few steps led up to it. But in the larger room was a table in the center, I’m guessing for meetings.

I saw a map on it, which the best thing I could guess with my limited knowledge was a star chart or however it’s called. And the Mistress was looking over it. She wore different clothes from before I passed out, her ethereal legs present as well.

She’d tied up her red and white hair and her pipe wasn’t in mouth. Her clothing, at least her top was that typical baggy armed white shirt female pirates wore. It showed off some huge boobage.

The moment I closed the door she looked to me, her then focused face lightened and turned into a smile.

“I was wondering when you would wake. How does it feel? To be free of that place?” she asked me

“G-Good..” I’d reply

She pushed herself up from the table, her breasts bouncing slightly.

“The Undercity, I’ll miss it. But now as to why I have asked you here.” She started

Here it comes…

“Where would you like to be taken once dawn hits? The meeting of our small fleet if you could call it will occur. Many of the half and quarter humans are heading back to their homelands. Revolution is a powerful tool. The other ships are going West, East to the Free Cities. Where would you like to go?” she asked me

“I…don’t…know…” I said “Can..I…go…with…you?” I’d ask, my voice breaking slightly

She looked at me for a second, before pulling out a chair and sitting down. She beckoned me to do the same and I did as so and pulled out the chair closest to her. Sitting down I couldn’t really look at her. I didn’t know why.

“You had the hope that you could go with Naoko, correct?” she asked

I’d just nod, she was spot on. She knew people too well. Or maybe I'm just too easy to read.

“She told me that she was to head back and continue her fight. A fight for justice they all called it. Humans are a fickle thing, even the exotic ones.” She chuckled “I believe you know why she didn’t offer you a spot.” She added

I nodded again. I was looking at the map but couldn’t focus on any of the details.

“You must get strong then.” She said

I looked up to her ready to speak, but she placed her finger over my lips.

“Not in the typical sense, but in a magical sense.” She clarified for me, removing her finger “You were the one that caused the escape. Every single man and woman that has wanted to escape that place has you to thank. Level One and have you already done so much, yes?” she chuckled

I just watched her and started thinking about her words.

“Your path at the moment does not lie with Naoko or me. Your path must be discovered and forged. But you must take the first step and place yourself in the hands of fate.” She said “I have duties of my own, being a Mistress was a fun time, but being a pirate was more my style. I have stories to tell, gold to find and places to discover. That is my current path and if fate disagrees then so it shall.” She said

She..she was right…I can’t just fucking mope around like a little bitch and feel sorry for myself. And how did she know it was me? She’s got too many secrets.

“Enjoy this last night of stillness, Ynnessa. A great journey is to begin tomorrow, for everyone here. Some will find new lives and some will return to their old ones. The world is free for the taking.” She’d stand and would extend a hand to me “Let me show you something.” She said

Taking her hand she’d lead me away from the table and up the few steps and we would stop right beside her bed. She turned my gaze towards the calm waves of the ocean, the stars in the night, shining bright.

“I let the stars lead me, I follow them. You could say my faith revolves around the hundreds of stars I see each night. Think of the sky as endless possibilities. Think of the night sky and each bright star as a successful labor. The one shining brightest tonight is you, Ynnessa.” She said, turning to me

I felt my face turn red, my eyes looked left to right before I felt her gently touch my chin. My eyes would stop on hers.

“I must thank you for the opportunity of freedom, but my nature gets the best of me. Gold is what I love the most, the gold that I claim. For this night, I am claiming you.” She said and then leaned forward and kissed me, her other hand touching the side of my face

She pulls away, a string of drool forming as she does, snapping it as she turns it around on her finger and places it in her mouth.

“I..I…I..” I stammered, I had no idea what to say

She embraced me into a hug and placed her mouth right beside my ear.

“Tonight your are mine and I am yours.” She whispered

A feeling of warmth I haven’t experienced brushed through me. Her hands behind me began to rip off the rags I had. I hesitated to raise my hands to her back, but as she lightly bit my ear I felt a boost of confidence, a sort of go ahead signal.

On the back of her top I felt strings which I started to undo and by the time I finished she had ripped off all of my rags. The thought that I never had to wear those things again was gladdening.

I’d actually smile as I looked at her, she’d return the smile.

“Under the moonlight, let all the goddesses of love witness you, Ynnessa.” She said

She got out of her top and undid her belt, dropping her pants. She’d place her hands on my shoulders and would gently lay me down onto her bed which was more comfortable than the one I woke up in. As I laid on my back she climb atop, her ethereal legs disappearing. Her breasts inching against mine.

My breath was heavy, just like hers. The air between our mouths warmed as our chests raised and rested with each breath. Her eyes were that of fiery passion, something I’ve never experienced. Something I never thought I would receive. I felt a tear flow down from the side of my face.

I felt loved for the first time. I felt wanted. All of the past pains of rejection and hatred were overtaken by this feeling of love. Albeit a momentary one, it was love nonetheless. I extended my hands and cupped her face.

“Yes!” Is all I could say with joy and light tears, I wanted her as much as she wanted me, this night it was only her and me
