Irene held off tons of Hulion soldiers as well as the 3rd captain Sera and Princess Teresa. Her vines whisked the soldiers into the air, it began to absorb their mana. Turning them into grapes that Irene would pluck and quickly eat.
“She already has an insane pool of mana. And she keeps getting more.” Teresa strained.
“Everytime I burn her vines she just makes more. This woman is damn powerful.” Sera continued. The 3rd captain had his giant spewing fire all around, which would be blocked or ignored by the tall sorceress. As she continued to fling larger vines towards him, he was constantly on the move. Especially protecting the princess. As most of Irene’s attacks were directed at her.
“We have about 15 minutes before the cannon goes off. HAND OVER THE COVER!” Teresa yelled. Shooting her own fire magic at Irene.
‘Come take it off my corpse.” Irene taunted.
“If you hand it over. I’ll stop the cannon. Do you want to be responsible for all these people's deaths? I know some of these people have children. You think you want to remove them from their lives.” Teresa came back with. Immediately angering Irene.
“DON”T TALK TO ME ABOUT SEPERATING CHILDREN FROM THEIR PARENTS!” Irene yelled as she went for a punch to the princess’s face. Sera quickly came to defend. He and Irene’s fish clashed. Sending a shockwave knocking even Teresa back. “You think i’ll listen to anything you have to say.”
“Then you’ll just have to perish with everyone else. Sera get rid of her. Then grab Nimul and meet me back at the mayor's home.” Teresa said turning around. Until she spotted none other than Nicholai blocking her path. The young man was slightly out of breath, but was standing his ground. “How did you get past Uziro?”
“Ezra is taking care of him.” Nicholai proclaimed. Teresa grew angry. Then felt no need to worry about the golden knight. “Oh and about the cannon. You can;t stop it. Once you started gathering energy you can’t stop it.”
Teresa was dumbfounded. As was Sera. She knew she didn’t completely understand the instructions provided, but simply wanted to try anyway. Now a price would be paid.
“So what. Did you come down here to save me? All that time together made you like me or something?” Teresa questioned Nicholai.
“I did not come to save your stupid ass. I came to get Grimm, he can redirect the cannon. Or I guess Irene could.” Nicholai responded harshly. Teresa started to grow angrier.
“Guess I can. But first we should handle the princess and her babysitter here. Or better yet. I should.” Irene said, then stared at Teresa. “I’m sure the king won’t miss you.”
Teresa was becoming frightened by the two mages. She felt herself wanting to cry, but stood her ground. She still had one knight close to her right now. But she could see that he was way more focused on saving Nimul, his own lover. She absolutely didn’t want this towering woman to kill her. For she was still young, and still didn’t find any love. There was no way she would let herself die like this. Her fury began to rise. The two mages saw as she gripped her staff harder.

“Gapi Kaimis. Help me. Please.” Teresa said to herself with her eyes closed. Confusing Irene and Nicholai. The girl then opened her eyes. And she lost her pupils. Both her hair and clothes turned pitch black, as a dark aura fiercely spun around the princess. Sera turned to see the transformation. He gasped in horror. Irene then look up and saw that a large storm was forming. Thunder and lightning was forming within already.
“Princess.” The 3rd captain was terrified by the transformation. He had never seen this happen to her.
‘What’s happening?” Nicholai questioned in fear.
“She’s possessed by some spirit. I’ve seen this before. I think this is how she plans to fight us. That storm must be her doing as well.” Irene answered. The dark aura dispensed. Teresa was no longer standing, but levitating. Helped by her new black wings.
“So it’s you. You’re the one who has hurt my child. Finally, someone she can strike down with this power.” Teresa spoke. Or did she. The voice was the same but the words came as if from someone else. Her staff transformed into a black shortsword, and she smiled upon seeing it. “I cannot wait for this.”
“Nicholai, how much time do we have left?” Irene asked.
“About 13 minutes. I need to get to Grimm. Once that cannon is dealt with we can worry about the rest of this battle.” Nicholai responded quickly. Taking a more defensive stance as Teresa was still staring him down.
“Fine.” Irene said. She quickly summoned vines that held down the princess. “Go! I can take her.”
Nicholai started to move past her. Until Sera took notice and slammed his blade down before the sorcerer. Nicholai readied a spell to counter attack. Yet Irene had dashed over and knocked Sera back.
“Oh no you don’t!” Teresa yelled as she broke from the vines. She charged at Nicholai with her sword. “Sera stop her!” The princess yelled again. Sera fended Irene off as the possessed girl came to Nicholai, and stabbed him with her blade.
“NO! NICHOLAI!” Irene screamed. She forcefully pushed the captain off of her, then quickly moved to save Nicholai. She took her blade and went for the girls head, but was unable to strike due to Teresa’s quick evasion. Nicholai fell to the floor. Blood began to pour over the grass. The blade had completely pierced through his side. The young man was in dear pain. Irene picked his body frantically. “Nicholai! Nicholai! Speak to me! Come on!”
Irene wrapped some vines around his wound. Teresa started to laugh as she watched the boy in pain. Which angered Irene immensely.
“No. I won’t let this happen again.” The sorceress said as she decided to attempt a release of her own true power. However. She felt Nicholai’s body leave her grasp. The young man sat up. He coughed as he rose. Teresa stopped laughing as Nicholai got up.
“Teresa. You’re someone….that needs…..to learn…..about the power…..they hold.” Nicholai proclaimed his words through rough breaths as he got back to his feet. He grabbed his staff off the ground, and changed his objective. “And I will be the one to show you what you’re doing wrong.”
“How?” Teresa questioned.
“Nichoai. How did you….” Irene started to ask.
“Irene. Focus on the other guy. I can take her.” Nicholai ordered his superior. Irene still was concerned of his injury, but the young man was standing as if he had no injury. Yet she still stood up, and saw the young man. Saw him the same as his father.
“Do you really think you can take me alone boy?” Teresa proudly said. Nicholai raised his staff above his head quickly. He spun it around a few times just as fast, then sent it down with the crystal facing the princess.
“Muse 6: Geometry.” The sorcerer calmly said. As his crystal aligned with the princess. A thunderbolt was sent down from the above clouds and struck her. She let out a painful scream. Sera jumped to attack Nicholai for striking her. Irene quickly intervene. Delivering her fist to his face. Knocking him back. The captain quickly rose. He resummoned his fire giant. Irene became irritated with it. She summoned a large vine that pierced right through the giant. Immediately destroying it.
“Why don’t you fight me like a man?” Irene questioned the captain.
“Fine then. If that’s what you want.” Sera acknowledged her request. He loosened his armor to remove it. Leaving nothing to show but his bare chest, battle scars, and large muscles. The other solider turned to see their captain unveil his body.
“Captain Sera is getting serious. They call him the Burning Mountain.” The soldiers praised him. He then lifted his sword up and placed it over his shoulder. Irene followed in unzipping her shirt. Making everyone around embarrassed. Mostly including Nicholai. She unveiled her purple undershirt, large breasts and muscles. Muscles which everyone saw were larger than Sera’s. Every single person able to see gasped in surprise seeing her body.
“This doesn’t change anything.” Sera proclaimed. Irene smiled at the man. She dashed quicker than anyone could see. Even Sera. Her fist went into his face, and crashed the man down into the earth.
“That’s where you’re wrong. Those clothes were weighing me down.”
