Sora followed the guards through a circular hallway toward the noise of the roaring crowd outside. Toward the end of the corridor, they stepped into an oval amphitheater beneath the gray sky. Towers rose behind five rows of spectator seats where wolf demons sat, cheering for the upcoming event. They must be on top of the castle to have good cold fresh air. To Sora, it was the perfect spot for a final boss fight.
Standing at the center, the Lich King pointed his dark blade sword at Sora. “Are you ready to die here?”
Sora held up her Godslayer blade. “I have been playing this game for a while. I am ready for anything!”
The Lich King laughed. “I like your sense of bravery. Now die!”
He aimed his blade and charged, probably using the charging stab attack.
Sora leaped from his attack and got up. Wow!
Apparently, the demon knew how to use her avatar’s abilities. But if he has other skills that Sora didn’t know about, they could be fatal.
All Sora has to do was move close to the Lich King and use the green orb on him. If he noticed the orb, the demon king will avoid its power.
The Lich King held out his blade and swung around. While swinging, he flew toward Sora.
The fox girl ducked and tripped him. After the king fell, Sora jumped on top of him and raised her sword. But he pushed her off and got up.
Sora landed on all-fours, glaring at the king. "Why did you steal my body?"
The Lich King laughed. "I needed a strong body to lead my army into this artificial world. You just happened to be the one I encountered."
“But there were other higher-level players you could have switched with!”
"Yes, but my avatar was weak. I couldn't leave the town without getting attack by other damn players. But I got your body and made it stronger!" Lucilla pointed his blade at Sora. "Now I will kill you so I can keep it forever!"
When the Lich King charged, Sora blocked his attack. His force pushed her against the wall, slamming her backward.
While pushing his blade toward her throat, Lucilla smiled at her. "Game over!"
Sora smiled back while pushing the king's blade back. "Game over for you!"
With one free hand, Sora pulled out the green orb and held it toward Lucilla's face. "Do you want this body?"
The white wolf widened his open mouth in shock. "What? How did you-"
Everything flashed green.

Sora jumped up and down, screaming in excitement. “I’m back! I’m back!”
Not only he was back, he was now the strongest character in the game. Like he has become a dungeon boss with overpowering skills. How cool was that?
Sora heard a groan and saw the fox lady's avatar rising. Obviously, it was the Lich Queen, back in her weak avatar she chosen.
After rubbing her head, she spotted the green orb rolling toward the center of the arena. With a gasp, she dashed for it.
"Oh no, you don't!" Sora aimed his black blade and dashed toward the queen.
Sora used Charging stab!
With intense speed, his sword struck through the queen’s back.
“Noooooooooo!” Lucillia screamed out her last breath before vanishing out of thin air.
Quest Completed!
You may now logout of the game.
The Lich Queen wasn’t the only one who disappeared. All the demon wolves faded away like ghosts. Sora guessed if their queen dies, they go with her. But at least everyone could leave the game.
“Sora?” a male voice shouted.
The white wolf turned around as Maxor, Garan, and Nancy rushed toward him.
Sora held up his hands. “It’s alright, guys! It’s me!”
Nancy pointed her club at him. “Prove it! What are our names?”
Sora rolled his eyes. “Nancy, Maxor, and Garan.”
The fennec fox hugged his leg. “You are Sora!”
“I knew you could do it,” said Garan.
“How did the battle go?” Maxor asked.
Sora smiled. "Let's get out of here first, and then I will tell."

Later, Sora and his NPC companions climbed to the top of a snowy peak. The sky grew sunny, as if the darkness left with the queen. Now she was gone, all the players could leave the game.
Sora told Maxor, Nancy, and Garan how he defeated the queen. He kept the green orb hidden until he held it toward the queen's body. After they switched places, Sora slew Lucillia before she had the chance to grab the orb. Of course, he destroyed it so it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
Nancy liked him as a fox girl. As a female, he was sweet and gentle when he wasn't fighting. Sora admitted he enjoyed the experience of being a female, but he preferred to stay as a male throughout his life. He worked hard to get his body back.
With his body back and the virtual world was free, it was time for Sora to return home. He wasn't sure if his body was dead or still breathing. The only way to find out was to logout.
"Are you sure you have to go now?" Nancy asked with a sad tone in her voice.
Sora frowned. "There is something I have to do, but I still thank you for helping me get here."
“Will you be back?” Maxor asked.
"I will when I can. In the meantime, what will you guys do?"
Garan glanced around. "I think I will return to my tribe. After all, I have been away from them for too long."
Maxor crossed his arms. "I probably going to rob another castle. This time I will not get caught." He glanced at Nancy. "You can come with me if you like."
Nancy smiled. "Sure, why not? I already joined you. It will be fun fun fun."
"When I do return, where can I meet you?" Sora asked.
"Northon, I guess," said Maxor. "But you will have to find us."
Sora shrugged. "I think that would be another excellent adventure for me."
Everyone laughed and hugged each other.
"Take care you guys," said Sora.
Maxor padded Sora's shoulder. "You too."
After gazing at each other's faces, the NPCs walked down the mountain in their own separate ways.
Sora opened his menu, smiling in relief as the logout button was back. When he selected log out, everything turned black.
