If I was right and I could infuse mana into objects what would be the most useful and convenient thing for me? It had to be the stone that told me about my abilities in the first place.
I waited for five mana to charge up too five and walked downstairs. I touched the obelisk of stone and thought about injecting my mana into it.
When I did a few lines of writing appeared on the stone.
"Founder ability unlocked do you wish to proceed?"
I didn't know what that meant but another ability could always be a good thing. Instead of an ability, a movie was being projected onto my eyes about the founding of the island.
There was no great secrets or any hidden treasure that was buried regretfully. I watched the town being built. I was frustrated my ability allowed me to spend 5 mana which was equal to a bagel for me to watch some dumb movie?
I thought the bagel was more valuable.
But then something amazing happened a giant map with colored and greyed out areas appeared before me.
"Ding" Map of humanity has been displayed upon completion of the founder's inheritance. The map will only be visible in real-time from the current location.
"Ability to upgrade status stone has been unlocked required remaining mana 100000"
Users must note that items mythic grade and above are the only items available to upgrade.
Several alerts were projected onto my eyes from the stone.
Having a map was valuable, but having a real-time map of all of the outposts was incredibly valuable. I knew that this was an ability that everyone who left the town to explore had through mana items and it wasn't even valuable.
Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author's consent. Report any sightings.
But to me, it was more valuable than any other ability, besides an ability to get revenge I thought to myself.
I peered at the map through interested eyes. Apparently, there were three major outposts and they were built around ruins. They seemed to have names.
Exchange outpost, Creation outpost, and item outpost were their names.
Apparently, their names were based upon the power that each ruin produced. I tabbed into the power of each of the ruins.
Exchange outpost chest~Change an item or items of equal value into a copy of the original.
Creation outpost~Combidend a heart beasts ability and mana in order to create an ability ring.
Item Outpost~Combidend materials and mana and create a mana item.
This was all very useful information to me considering I was basically a walking mana battery.
"Final alert upon upgrade of Status stone Black Sun ability will be bestowed upon you"
All of this was extremely valuable to me the only problem was efficiency. I couldn't generate mana at a high enough scale to get that ability even if I saved up mana my entire life.
This all hurts my head too much it was an information overload.
I turned around and left I could consider this all tomorrow given the fact that I basically couldn't die as long as I was outside and nobody attacked me.
I was hungry anyway.
I got home and messed around for a while before going to bed.
it had been an eventful day. Apparently, the power I had gotten was the power to never starve. Whoever gave me this power must have assumed that I would lie in the sun all day and never do anything useful.
The next day I got out of bed and didn't even go to work. A thought appeared in my head I should just lay around in the sun all day and never work a day in my life.
Maybe I could use this ability to benefit humanity or something. Status and power were all in reach after all I knew not to underestimate the power of a walking mana battery. The thing was on this island everything was already decided.
There was a limited amount of space and all of it was already being occupied. There was no way for me to expand unless I joined an expedition team. But I had no combat abilities I'd probably just die.
Maybe I could use sunspot to be a crowd control type fighter and distract monsters. No, I couldn't do that Id end up getting my entire expedition team wiped if I flashed all of them at the wrong time.
That settles it then I had three options.
I could laze around in the sun all day and do nothing with my life.
I could save up a bunch of mana and hope that I wouldn't die on the way to one of the outposts.
Or I could try and acquire the black Sun ability.
