Chapter 6: Stand By Mei. (2)

With my supplies in my bag, I quickly made my way back to Rust Ranger's Scrapyard… where I walked into the sight of Mei in the middle of working on a new project.

From a distance, I could see that it was some sort of vaguely humanoid robot, made out of various pieces of scrap metal.

Seeing it, I quickened my pace, walking into the scrapyard with a small smile on my face.

"Hey Mei!" I said, as I walked up to her, causing her to stop working on her… robot.

"Hey there, Hubby!" Mei said with a grin, causing me to cringe slightly as she wiped a bit of sweat from her brow, "What took you so long?"

"Oh, I was getting my Quirk registered… it took a while, unfortunately. But I'm here now!" I said with a small amount of annoyance evident in my tone.

"Ah, that must have sucked. Anyways… I've been working on my latest baby! It's a robot that you can test your Stands on! I'm calling it my Dummy Mk 1" Mei said as she gestured towards the robot made entirely out of scrap metal.

Looking at it, I could almost swear that I heard it creak ominously, as one of its arms dropped to the floor with a rather loud crash.

"Oops! It's still in the prototype stages… but soon it should be ready!" Mei said with an awkward look on her face.

"Alright, I'm looking forward to it" I said with a smile, as I tried to figure out what to say next… maybe I could offer to help her with the robot? Or show her my latest Stand?

Damn it, I was doing so well! Why was my crippling anxiety only showing itself NOW!?

I looked at Mei for a second, as she went back to work on the robot. Squatting down in order to work on a part of one of its legs.

Honestly, the way she was squatting really accentuated her… posterior, and it was making it ludicrously hard not to look at it.

Eventually though, I learned that when it came to Mei? I was incredibly weak-willed, as I eventually succumbed and… looked.

And just like that, the world seemed to be drowned out, as I focused on every single inch of Mei's butt, taking in its round thickness and its seemingly bouncy nature, along with the just barely visible panty lines underneath those criminally tight pants that made for an enticing sight…

I wanted to slap it, or squeeze it… or just rub my hands all over it, caressing it like it was the most marvelous thing in the world.

"-Don't just stand there, can you hand me the wrench?" Mei asked, as she looked back to me, causing me to flinch slightly as I blinked. Not knowing how long I'd just been standing there… staring.

"A-ah! Right, sorry" I stammered, before quickly running t to where the tools were and grabbing the wrench, nearly dropping it in my panic as I eventually handed it to her, "Here you go, M-Mei"

"Thanks Hubby… now you can go back to staring at my butt!" Mei said with a slight grin, before she refocused on her work, tightening and loosening several bolts with her wrench.

She… she noticed? She noticed! Oh God! She noticed that I was staring at her!

And so, I panicked… I panicked hard.

"H-hey Mei!" I said, quickly getting her attention, "I got a-a new Stand today"

"Ooh?" Mei asked, sparkles practically in her eyes as she dropped the wrench and walked over to me, "What does it look like? What can it do? Who did you get it from?"

"I- I got it from the doctor who looked over my Quirk Registration… and you can find out for yourself! [Grimm]!" I called out, summoning the sapient Stand to me in an instant.

"Yes, my lord? What is it that you wish of me- Kyaah!" [Grimm] started off, bowing lowly… before Mei practically tackled her to the ground with stars in her eyes.

"You can speak? Are you alive? What can you do? Your name's [Grimm], right? Tell me, tell me, tell me!" Mei practically demanded as she shook the Stand like it owed her money.

[Grimm] looked at me pleadingly for a moment, but I knew not to interrupt Mei when she was like this… so I just casually walked away. Having learned that if I ran? She would chase.

Eventually, my latest Stand managed to answer Mei's litany of questions, telling her that she was created from the Quirk 'Bat Transformation' and that she was fully Sapient and had the ability to transform into a flock of bats, and fly under her own power.

An ability that [Grimm] demonstrated by flying upwards… out of Mei's range.

Damn, that was smart.

Then she had the gall to dismiss herself while in mid-air, and for a moment? I was honestly a little bit tempted to summon her in front of Mei again… but thought better of it.

Instead, I whistled, getting Mei's attention, as she turned her head towards me.

"Mei! I've got another Stand to show you" I said, and nearly instantly my… uh, wife was in front of me.

"Oh? What can it do?" She asked, holding my hands and looking into my eyes with incredible intensity, causing me to blush at such sudden degeneracy!

"I've been uh… calling it [Treasure Planet], and it can fuse any non-living matter together-" I started, before Mei suddenly and without any warning locked her lips with my own.

I opened my mouth to shout in surprise, but instead, I was met with her tongue dominating my own as she pushed her body into mine. The two of us quickly began to clash, tongue against tongue, as I fought a losing battle, but idly I noticed that her lips tasted like energy drinks and coffee? And strangely, I didn't… hate the taste.

Eventually, I had to draw back to take a breath, and Mei just stared at me for a moment.

That was… that was my first kiss.

"That was nice… could you summon the Stand?" Mei asked, and I looked at her for a moment, before giving up and doing so.

"[Treasure Planet]" I said, as the treasure chest-like Stand appeared by my side, panting like a dog as it ran around my feet. It was kind of… cute, like this.

"So, how do I do this?" Mei asked, as she grabbed a pair of broken toasters that looked like they had seen better days.

"You just have to insert the objects you want to fuse in its mouth… open up, boy!" I said with a slight grin as I pet the Stand which looked at me for a moment, before the chest opened fully, revealing the Stand's large mouth and its entire throat, it was honestly a pretty disturbing sight, seeing the rows upon rows of teeth and its long swaying tongue.

"Oh, neat!" Mei said, as she casually tossed both the toasters into the Stand.

A few moments later, [Treasure Planet] closed its mouth and began to shake rapidly… before spitting out the fused object.

It was covered in a surprising amount of saliva, but underneath all of that spit was… a practically perfect toaster, that looked like it was brand new.

Mei looked at the toaster for a moment, before staring at me…

"Izuku. Marrying you was the greatest decision that I've ever made in my life, I love you so much!" Mei said with absolute seriousness, as she held the toaster in her arms.

I blushed brightly upon hearing that sudden confession, as I tried to figure out what I was even going to say back…

"I- I love you too?" I said somewhat hesitantly, before I decided to muster up what courage I had within me… and hugged her.

My body pressed against hers, arms wrapped around her waist in a warm embrace.

The blush on my face burned brightly, when I felt her uh… assets pressed against my torso, but it felt so right to hold her like this.

"Hey, Mei?" I said after a moment, before she hummed and looked at me, "D-does all of this count as a-a date? Because I-I- I think it's really nice f-for… both of us?"

"Huh, I guess it would!" Mei said with a broad grin, as she suddenly squeezed me tightly, "Thanks for the date, hubby!"

The two of us held each other for a few more moments, before eventually letting go, when it was over, I quickly went to my bag and pulled out a small towel.

After all, the brand new toaster was still covered in saliva… and needed some cleaning off. This totally wasn't me trying to distract myself from my growing embarrassment. Not at all.

So, as I wiped the toaster down, I idly noticed Mei looking around the rest of the scrapyard, trying to find something else to put into [Treasure Planet].

Eventually she left my sight, when an idea came to me as I finally finished wiping the saliva off of the toaster.

"H-hey Mei, what do you think a metal made with the properties of rubber would be like?" I asked loudly, causing her sudden gasp to resound through the entire scrapyard, as I heard a clattering.

…Not two minutes later, Mei came running back with a large sheet of rusted metal, and several broken bouncy balls.

Well, it looked like she was also interested in this experiment, as she quickly got the Stand to open its mouth, and just jammed everything into it, causing the Stand to gurgle in surprise and… what seemed to be delight.

Within a few moments, [Treasure Planet] began shaking, before eventually spitting out an ingot made of a gleaming metal that was once more covered in saliva.

Mei quickly ran over to the metallic ingot, picking it up and waving it slightly. to shake the saliva off… only for the metal to bend with extreme ease.

"Hahaha! Yes! YES!" Mei laughed, as she continued bending and stretching the ingot in various different ways… before eventually throwing it on the ground.

I had to quickly dive out of the way, when the ingot bounced at me and nearly took my damn head off.

The ingot continued bouncing through the scrapyard, slowly but surely getting slower until it came to a standstill.

Mei of course ran over to the ingot, quickly followed by myself.

Upon closer inspection, it was a blueish metal ingot… I didn't have a lot of knowledge when it came to metal… but I was pretty sure that metal wasn't supposed to naturally be that color.

Poking it experimentally, I found it was fairly firm… but had some amount of give to it by the slight indentation I made on the ingot, but it quickly went back into place.

"This is certainly an incredibly… fascinating material" I muttered to myself, as I tried to think of ways this could be used in hero work.

Maybe it could work as a capture tool against villains? Getting out of capture tape or rope isn't too hard if you're strong enough… but maybe this metal could be able to handle higher degrees of strength? It wouldn't be able to contain someone like All Might, but then again? That’s not a very fair comparison, as nothing else could hope to do so.

It could also be used to make a weapon, maybe a whip of some kind? The bounciness and flexibility could help allow for that.

But I’m getting ahead of myself here, after all these are only theoretical applications of this metal, as far as I know… it could lose all of its flexible properties upon being forged into something. It's probably for the best not to get my hopes up, before figuring out just what it's capable of.

So, I decided to give it to Mei. She'd definitely manage to find a use for it.

As I was passing the ingot to her though, I could almost swear that I saw a flash of red in the corner of my eye… and what seemed to be a camera flash?

But when I quickly turned around to look for the source, nothing was to be seen, just towers upon towers of scrap metal.

Looking back at Mei, I saw that she was poking and prodding at the incredibly flexible and bouncy ingot with a look of pure focus on her face.

So, seeing how intensely focused she was… I decided to not distract her. Instead, I thought it would be for the best to focus on practicing how my Stands worked... and hopefully maybe even learn something new.
