Chapter 3: Standing Out From The Rest! (2)
I was able to make it to the scrapyard in around an hour, instead of the two that it took me last time… perhaps that's due to me suddenly being taller, along with my increased level of fitness?
But when I arrived at the scrapyard, I walked in to the sight of Mei standing precariously on top of a car that was suspended in mid-air, pulling out various pieces of it.
So of course, I made sure to quickly get under where she would likely fall, just in case, but surprisingly enough?... She didn't fall.
Instead, she saw me on the ground below, arms outstretched… and she jumped down!
"Catch me!" Mei shouted excitedly, as she fell through the air…
My heart nearly leaped out of my chest, when I ran to where she was falling and just barely managed to grab her.
Now that she was in my arms, I noticed that she was examining my body in vivid detail with her cross-like eyes zooming in and out multiple times.
"Oh! You're familiar… Izuku, right?" Mei asked, causing me to nod, "Huh… you look different from what I remember. Wait- did you get your Quirk!?"
She looked so excited at such a prospect, that I just nodded again before letting her down.
"Ah, why'd you do that? It felt nice in your arms… but anyway, your Quirk! Let me guess! Is it some sort of age manipulation? Or a one-time transformation into a more mature seeming version of yourself?" Mei asked, as she grabbed one of my arms and began to squeeze it all over, from my forearms all the way to my biceps.
"No to both, not even close," I said with a slightly teasing smile. It was actually kind of nice talking to someone who didn't see me as instantly worthless for not being able to use my Quirk.
"Aw… c'mon, can you tell me then?" Mei asked, as she moved from my arms to my torso, and was slowly going down. I was so not prepared for this.
"I- uh… well, it lets me- what I'm saying is, if I beat someone in a fight, I get an aspect of their Quirk that I can summon to fight for me" I stuttered somewhat, as she slowly traced her finger around my thighs, getting uncomfortably close to my groin.
Then all of a sudden she stopped, as her eyes practically lit up, looking at me in a new light.
"Really? Can you show me?" Mei asked with a sort of… intense curiosity.
She was right in my face, and despite everything, I couldn't help but blush slightly. She was just too close to me!
"Uh, do you mean you want me to show you one of my copies? Or do you want me to show you how I create them? Because I'm fine with both" I said with a slight shrug as I tried to suppress the blush, and Mei stared at me in wonder.
"Yes!" Mei said with a grin, jumping up and down for a few moments, her… assets bouncing along with her, before she continued, "You can show me how you do it, and then show me the copy!"
"Well alright. I'll need you to name the things that you're sure you can beat me at" I said suddenly, getting a somewhat puzzled look from her.
I wasn’t actually sure if I even could gain a Stand from beating someone in something other than a fight… but I was fairly sure that she wouldn't mind the experiment.
"Oh! You want to see if you're able to gain a copy from beating someone at something other than a fight, don't you?" Mei asked with a slight smile, as she leaned towards me, which gave me a top-down view of her… let’s just go with assets again.
"Yes. Yes, that's exactly right! It would be a lot more convenient if I didn't have to beat people up to get a copy… I'd feel like a thug if I had to do so" I said with a smile, it was so rare to see someone who actually understood what I was thinking.
"Alright! Well, I know you won't be able to beat me when it comes to making my babies… and I could probably beat you in anything that involves seeing because of my Quirk," Mei said thoughtfully, as she put a finger on her chin, "But other than that? Well, games of chance are just that, chance… and games of skill would be entirely dependant on our levels of skill"
"So, we should go with either a game of chance or skill, right?" I suggested, "After all, it should be something I at least have a chance of winning, and seeing whether my Quirk works with it"
"Ooh! What about arm wrestling? Or rock paper scissors?… Maybe we could play a game of cards?" Mei asked as she pulled a deck of cards out of one of her many pockets.
I didn't even know just why she had cards with her, and honestly? I was kind of scared to ask.
Now, I just had to decide on an actual game to play with Mei…
"What about… both a game of skill and a game of chance?" I suggested after a few moments, "I'm mostly suggesting this to see if the copy gained will be more powerful by beating you at two things instead of one"
"Yes! I love that idea, what games were you thinking of?" Mei asked, as she held the cards up with an enticing grin, "Perhaps some poker?"
"I was thinking an arm wrestle, and some rock paper scissors?" I said, getting an excited nod from Mei.
"Perfect!" Mei said, as she quickly grabbed a rundown table and placed her arm on it, elbow on the table as she held her hand open.
Now that I noticed it, I saw that she was surprisingly muscular… not as much as me, but her arms were definitely toned. Likely from all of the heavy machinery she works with for her inventions.
So, I placed my arm on the table as well and we clasped both of our hands together, and now that I think about it? This was the first time that I’ve actually… held hands with a girl.
And that sudden thought caused me to blush and nearly instantly lose, as Mei tried to slam my hand down onto the table.
Luckily, I managed to stay my hand, and instead slowly but surely pushed it to the other end of the table, winning the game with surprising ease.
"Alright! Now, let's play rock paper scissors!" Mei shouted with a wide grin, as she closed her hand into a fist.
With that, the two of us played a quick game of rock paper scissors. Best of three of course.
The first round ended with Mei winning, having played paper when I played rock.
But in the second round, I won instead, with a paper against her rock. The exact opposite of the first round.
Then there was the third round, where both of us played paper, and ended with a tie.
So now, there was the final round, the tiebreaker… to see who would win the game of rock paper scissors.
"Rock," I said, as I prepared my final attack in this game, trying to psyche her out by slightly opening my fist.
"Paper," Mei said, her face betraying no emotion or thought, but looking down at her hand, I saw several minuscule movements, likely she was trying to figure out which move to go with.
""Scissors!"" The two of us shouted, as we made our respective moves…
I chose rock, and Mei had chosen scissors.
…And just like that, I had won the game of rock paper scissors.
"So, what happens now?" Mei asked, as I noticed the green energy slightly leeching off of her, and forming beside me.
"Well, it attains its own form," I said, as I watched the glowing green energy begin to coalesce, though I noticed that it was quite a bit smaller than usual.
And looking back at Mei, I saw that she was recording it with her phone.
"This is honestly so fascinating! I wonder what it'll be!" Mei said, as she watched the green energy begin glowing brighter and brighter, until it finally… attained its own form, "Ooh!"
Mei's squeal of interest was somewhat drowned out by my own confusion.
After all, the last two Stands were vaguely humanoid… and now this one was a gun.
A white and purple sci-fi gun that was crackling with a purple energy, and looked somewhat… alien, with a strange holographic sphere that seemed to have a crosshair within. But it was still a gun nonetheless.
Looking at it though, I knew exactly what it was capable of. It was able to hit any target, as long as its wielder was currently looking at them, whether that's in person or through a camera… it will always hit on a conceptual level. But if nobody's around, the gun won't even fire.
The blast it fires looks somewhat like a crosshair, and isn't all that powerful… but when it hits it also tracks the target, with no range limitation whatsoever. So, as long as I hit someone once… I'll always be able to find them.
"So, what does it do?" Mei asked, as she looked at the rifle that was on the floor, which I quickly picked up.
"Well, as long as the person using it can see someone, they can hit them. This works through cameras too… the rifle doesn't do a lot of damage, but it also tracks people down with no distance limitation" I said, as I felt the weight of the weapon in my arms… it was honestly a pretty damn good ability, and would make my future heroic career a lot easier, if I can just 'tap' the villains and track them down later.
"Oh that's interesting… it seems to have taken my Zoom Quirk, and seemingly… tweaked it on a conceptual basis, how utterly fascinating," Mei said, as she looked at the rifle in my arms, "Now… what should we call our baby?"
"Our… baby?" I asked confusedly, as a blush flowed throughout my face.
"Well yeah, it was made from both of our Quirks! So it's our baby! And of course, our baby deserves a name!" Mei said with a massive grin, as she looked at the rifle with an intense gaze.
"Right… right," I said, as I tried to come up with a good name for this new Stand of mine.
"What about Meizuku Mk 1? Or Baby?" Mei suggested, as I looked at the Stand held within my arms.
"Hmm… I just don't think they would fit, you know?… How about [Deadshot]?" I suggested after a moment of thought, as the Stand in my arms seemed to lowly hum in appreciation, causing me to grin, "Oh… I think we've got a yes!"
Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
"Ooh! Yes! Now, we have to test our baby out, don't we, Izuku?" Mei said with an infectious grin, one which I was quick to share.
"Alright! Set up some cans, and we'll test out how this works!" I said as I hefted the science fiction rifle in my arms. It was somewhat unwieldy, as it seemed to be made for some other biology, but I was fairly confident that I’d be able to use it decently well.
Mei quickly ran off and gathered a small bag of cans from the surroundings, as she carefully stacked them together on the table that the two of us had arm wrestled on earlier.
With that, I looked at the cans, and heard a slight 'ping' in my mind, instinctually I knew that [Deadshot] had locked onto the cans… and when I fired, it hit the stack of cans dead center.
But surprisingly enough, the cans barely moved, and instead, the one in the middle started to glow a bright purple.
"Mei. Do you see the bright purple glow?" I asked, causing her to shake her head in confusion, "Alright then… do you mind if I test this on you?"
"No, test away!" Mei said as she extended her arms outwards, making herself as large of a target as possible.
So, I aimed down towards her, heard another 'ping' of confirmation from the Stand, and… fired.
A small bright green crosshair was fired out of [Deadshot] and hit Mei directly on the back of her hand.
"Ow! Something stung me!" Mei said, now glowing a bright purple to my eyes, as she held her hand up, attempting to wave the pain away.
Looking back at the cans, I saw that the bright purple can… was no longer purple. Meaning that I must have only been able to track one target at a time.
"It works!" I said with a grin, as I quickly ran over to Mei, examining her all over, I could feel an instinctual knowledge of her exact location in proximity to me , as if I'd know where she was no matter what.
This was honestly, kind of scary… especially since from what I could tell. Mei wasn't able to see her bright purple skin, meaning she wouldn't know she was being tracked if I hadn't told her beforehand.
"This is honestly a really fascinating Quirk, Izuku" Mei said, as after the pain in her hand went away she had been utterly fascinated by how my latest Stand seemed to have worked, "Thanks for showing it to me! I have so many ideas now!"
"O-oh, what sort of ideas?" I asked somewhat nervously. Trying and failing to imagine just what sort of ideas she could have from seeing my Quirk.
"If I can get you to beat a bunch of strong villains… then you'd be able to make a bunch of these Stands of yours and become the ultimate Hero, right? Right!?" Mei asked intensely, as she looked at me like I was a prime piece of meat that was on sale.
"I-I guess?" I said, kind of scared by how intense she was being.
"Then that means you'd need some Support Gear!" Mei said with a massive grin as she pushed her body against mine, "And that's where I'll come in! Supporting the strongest Hero would allow me to create Hatsume Industries! And create the greatest Support Company in the world!"
"I- I… what?" I asked, honestly confused as to what she was getting at.
"What I want from you, Izuku Midoriya. Is to team up with you!" Mei said, her eyes zooming in and out rapidly as she looked up at me, "With your heroic might, and my supreme intelligence… we'll dominate the heroic world! What do you say!?"
She quickly extended a hand out to me, and just stared into my very soul.
I looked at her for a moment, and honestly couldn't help the grin that graced my face, at having someone with such unadulterated confidence in me and my abilities…
The only other person who believed in me was mom, and even then… that took me actually getting my Quirk to get her to do so.
"S-sure," I said after a moment, as I awkwardly shook her hand, too busy staring into Mei's crosshair-like eyes… they were honestly beautiful to look at.
"Yes! Yes! Thank you Izuku! We're going to make the best team ever!" Mei shouted exuberantly as she quickly hugged me , pressing her breasts against my chest.
"Haha… you know… this is the weirdest marriage proposal I've heard, but okay. We can make this work, just please meet my mom before we make everything official, alright?" I said with a slight grin, trying and likely failing at making a joke.
But instead of laughing, Mei just looked at me… and had a slight blush growing on her face.
"W-well, if that's what it takes to get you to join me at Hatsume Industries? Well then… it's worth it" Mei said, surprisingly taking it completely seriously.
I sputtered slightly, taken aback by Mei's shocking answer to the proposal… but before I could say anything, she interrupted me within an instant.
"We have to get everything in writing now, right? Give me just a minute!" Mei said, as she quickly pulled out several sheets of paper and a pen, and started writing down…
Around five minutes later, she passed the sheets of paper to me, and it was a… contract for working at her company.
But it seemed that several words were edited, like how 'employee' was changed to 'husband' in the contract, and Mei's own role was changed from 'employer' to 'wife'.
She then handed the pen over to me, and smiled a beautiful smile as she leaned over me.
"Alright, now you just need to sign here, here, and… here," Mei said, as she pointed out where I needed to sign.
I looked at her for a moment, and then looked back at the papers.
"Uh… just let me call my mom first, is that alright?" I asked, getting a nod from Mei.
"Oh! Of course! I'll call my parents and let them know the good news too!" Mei said, as she quickly grabbed her phone and ran over to the other side of the junkyard, in order to have a more… private conversation.
"Okay, Izuku… you're about to get married due to a complete misunderstanding. It's probably not legally binding, but you can't very well just tell that to Mei, now can you?… Oh god, what do I do?" I muttered to myself, as I quickly dialed my mom. Desperately hoping she'd pick up.
But, no matter how much the phone rang… she didn't pick up the phone.
Oh God… oh god, I was going to get married, and I had nobody to help me actually convince Mei that it was all a misunderstanding.
"Agh!" I screamed into my hands, as I could feel tears practically pooling in my eyes, I was way too young to get married!
My breathing began to quicken, as I imagined the future with Mei… getting fitted into a suit, while Mei stands in front of me in a wedding dress, or well… Mei's version of a wedding dress, complete with a high-tech backpack.
She actually wouldn't look too bad- but that's not the point!
But there wouldn't be a best man, because I didn't have any guy friends other than Kacchan and I just knew that he wouldn't want to be there… and then the priest would ask if I wanted to be wed.
And then my mom would be crying in the stands, as she had to give her little boy away.
And- and-…
Why was the world going dark?
----------------------------------------
I woke up a while later, to a bunch of signed papers in front of me, and [Orbit] standing by my side.
"Izuku! Are you alright? You fainted all of a sudden" Mei said as she looked over my body, "You hit your head pretty hard on the desk… are you okay?"
"I- I'm fine…" I said after a hesitant moment, as I continued to stare at the signed papers, "Why… why are the papers signed?"
"Oh! You got up for a couple of seconds and started signing everything… then you passed out again" Mei said, as she cringed slightly. Likely from the memory of me embarrassing myself again.
"Ah…" I sighed, as I looked over the writing… and yep that was my handwriting, never before did I want to curse my sleep writing habit, but now? I absolutely hated it with an undying passion, "How long was I out?"
"Around thirty minutes, from my estimates… oh, and your mom called by the way! She was apologizing for not answering because she was… err, working out to fight you better next time? Don't worry, I told her the good news!" Mei said with a flashy grin, "We were talking while you were passed out, I think she likes me!"
"That's… that's nice to hear," I said with a slight smile, well at the very least… mom liked Mei.
"Yeah, your mom was really supportive. I think she cried a couple of times, saying stuff about her baby being so… mature? She was really nice though" Mei said with a nod, and I couldn't help but agree with her.
"Ha, yeah… mom's the best," I said, my smile growing slightly. At least if I was getting married?… Well, I definitely could have picked someone a lot worse.
"So… what does a married couple even do?" Mei asked suddenly, as I looked at her.
"I- I don't know. Maybe we just see where it goes and hope for the best?' I suggested, getting a nod from her.
"Alright. As long as you help me make my babies" Mei said with a grin, and if I didn't know her better? I definitely would have been sputtering like crazy.
"That's fine with me" I eventually said, before an idea occurred to me, "Ah! We should exchange phone numbers"
"Great idea, Izuku!" Mei said, as she quickly grabbed her phone, and the two of us quickly exchanged phone numbers.
Unfortunately, it was then that I noticed that it was getting kind of late, as I looked at my phone, and saw that it was already around 6 PM.
This meant that I had to quickly get back home… but it was nice to be with my friend, err… wife? For a while, at least.
“Anyways, Mei! I’ve gotta head off” I said, as I looked to Mei, “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Of course, Hubby!” Mei said with a grin and a slight giggle, as I left the scrapyard…

And that’s Chapter 3.
Still Chapter 2 of the Fiction.live version, because even this chapter was just a part of it all… god damn why did I have to write so much!?
Hope you all enjoyed it, though. Because I greatly enjoyed writing it.
