Violent winds spawned all over the shrine entrance, the ghost of a young girl stood menacingly and screamed, telling the two shrine guests to back up.

Without flinching or feeling fear, Luke and Helena took a step in her direction.

"I SAID GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!"

"Calm down young girl, we're here to help you, and fulfill your will." Said Luke.

"I DONT NEED YOUR DAMN HELP, ANOTHER STEP AND YOU'LL REGRET COMING! GET THE FUCK BACK!"

Glowing particles started to assemble at the girl's hand,the shape of some kind of handheld tool began to form, the girl held the item with both her hands at the handle and swinged it.

"Luke! Beware! She's holding a knife! Don't get carelessly close to her!"

"Aren't ghosts supposed to be peaceful and only wanting to fulfill their wills?"

"Normally, but as they get aggressive that only means their will to stay in the living world is so strong they might turn into demons and lose their sanity, a ghost who refuses to depart would break the balance between the afterworld and our world, and to fix the unbalance the ghost is turned into a demon, it's the same case with souls seeking vengeance, they will trade their sanity and consciousness to stay here and fulfill their wills."

"And what do you propose as a solution?"

"We need to calm her and see if we can send her by fulfilling her will or forcefully before she turns into a demon, in the worst case, if she transforms, eliminating her is a must since that process is irreversible."

Without a moment's notice, the ghost girl started running toward Luke and Helena while swinging the knife.

"Helena! Back up!" Luke dodged the knife and took a step out of the shrine gate, then the girl stopped and didn't follow Luke.

"Looks like she can't pass the gate, HEY, WE'RE NOT GOING INTO THE SHRINE ANYMORE, JUST TELL US, WHAT ARE YOU GUARDING OR KICKING US OUT FROM HERE FOR?!"

"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! ONE STEP INTO THE SHRINE AND I'LL STAB YOU!!"

"Luke, i think we have to use the forceful method, open the backpack and bring out the net and talisman papers."

"Gill sure had an idea of this happening when he got the S-item net and the departing talismans ready."

Before the mission, when Luke called Gill and told him that he is ready, he was given two items, the S-item net to catch ghosts if it was necessary, and the departing talismans, which were items that had to be sticked on a ghost's body to force the departure, it was a last measure if the ghost was risking transforming into a demon.

Luke then took the net out, and ran in the direction of the ghost girl.

"I TOLD YOU TO FUCK OFF!!"

As the ghost rushed to stab Luke, he threw the net on her when she got close, in her confusion, the girl could'nt believe that a physical item was able to hold her in even if she was a specter.

"GET THIS NET OFF ME YOU FUCKER!"

She tried to cut it off using her knife, but her efforts were in vain, the net was of some durable material.

"Helena , pass me the talismans, i'll stick them on her."

As Luke was about to put the talismans on the girl ghost body, sudden footsteps could be heard coming from behind the shrine .

"What are you doing to sister?!"

"ERIC! THOSE GUYS DON'T WANT ME TO PLAY WITH YOU ANYMORE! THEY'RE TRYING TO SEPARATE US!"

"What do you mean? Luke? Explain what are you doing to Sis, how could you even contain her in that net!"asked Eric in a melancholic voice."Elena?! Are you good?! Did they hurt you?!"

Helena and Luke turned to see each other, and nodded as they showed each other that they understood what's going on.

"Mister Eric, by any chance, do you keep coming to this shrine to see your sister and play with her?"asked Helena.

"Yes, and what do two need with this information, leave my sister alone she did nothing wrong."

"ERIIC, GET ME OUT OF THIS NEET!"

"Eric, listen, your sister need to depart, giving her a reason to not do so will only ruin her, didn't you notice that she's losing her sanity a bit with each passing day, didn't you notice that she's kicking and haunting every one who comes close to the shrine, it's time to explain to your sister that she needs to depart in peace, she's dead already, you're just hurting her soul by keeping her here."

"You liars! LEAVE MY SIS ALONE! she suffered enough, she waited for me enough, and now that i got back to the city after our parents gave up searching for her and found her here even in a ghost state, you appeared and decided to ruin it all!!"

Suddenly, Eric held a wooden stick that maid close to him and attacked Luke, as he swinged the stick high up to hit him, Luke parried the swing and punched Eric to the guts, knocking him out.

"Don't try this again, i've parried faster punches."

"ERIIIIIC!!!!!"

A whirlwind of red and black mist surrounded the ghost girl.

"Luke, stick the talismans fast! She will transform into a demon if you don't do qo now !!"

He did as she told him, sticking the papers on her, the red and black mist started to evaporate and the body of the girl started fading into silver particles that floated up in the sky.

"ERIIIIC!!" Elena last words echoed and faded into nothing, while Eric was knocked off, not witnessing his sister departure.

Luke collected the net into the backpack, and gave his hand to support a knocked off Eric that just woke up.

"Let's get out of here, your sister is no longer with us."

Eric then slapped his hand refusing to hold it, and run down the stairs , quitting the shrine.

"I'll make you regret this! Remember me well! I'll make you wish you never separated me from her!"

Helena could only watch him in silence."Couldn't we have done it in a more acceptable way? It seems that he will hold a grudge against us."

"Some things must be done, and i don't think he understand what happened anyway, he only was able to see his sister ghost since she allowed him to do so like the security guard, he will move on, hopefully."

Days passed, and Helena learned from Gill that Elena passed away during a hit and run accident while she was out playing, and that the driver who caused it buried her corpse in the shrine's forest before running away.

That's the duty of a soul facilitator, keeping the balance of the living worls and otherworld, and helping as many souls to depart, even if the methods seem harsh sometimes.

The day ended, with a tired Luke and Helena who got back to report their mission, and an Eric who swore revenge on the people who separated him from his sister after they got reunited.
