  At a fork in the road, I had a decision to make

  one that would leave lives forever unraveled.

  We have liberty to choose, traditions to break

  I cowardly did not take the road less traveled.

  one that I shall regret when I am old and grey.

  Yet in every choice lies a new tale to unfold

  a chance to discover what isn’t on display.

  While many avoid the chance to explore

  there are still many things that bring joy.

  So, I leave the unknown, and open the door

  at peace in the smile of every girl and boy.

  And though paths not taken are left behind

  only the journey matters, not the port in mind.
