73. The White Hell

  I look outside and gaze upon the white ground

  at that winter wonderland everyone sings about.

  Not all winters are as wonderful as they sound

  as seeing cold snow makes me want to checkout.

  When I look out at the bitter frost, the slippery ice

  I get an urge to return to my warm and comfy bed.

  There are some that feel snow is a very small price

  as this kind of weather rarely makes anyone dead.

  I realize there are worse things to fear in this planet

  like a volcano, earthquake, tornado, or hurricane.

  By comparison, snow shouldn’t make anyone sweat

  I’d rather have snowflakes to take the others again.

  When prepared it’s the safest, there is no argument

  so as the snow falls, we should feel very fortunate.
