Flashback...
"You must be Sonata, right?"
The young Sonata look up to see Sonya for the first time, while she and Suona were in the 'orphanage' that the Reverse Organization made for them. "Y-Yes," she replied, still afraid to look at them who were innocent and unaware of their surroundings. Suona remained by her side, while still shy around Sonya and her two friends. "These are Serena and Irina, they are my friends! Say hello to them!" Sonya said happily, holding their hands to make them shake hands with them. "S-Suona..." she replied, hiding behind Sonata who was still unsure of trusting them.
It was her first time meeting them, they were so kind that they were making them comfortable just by chatting with them. Sonata slowly gain her trust at them, despite Suona's warnings not to trust them much. Although they haven't known each other fully, an instinct made one of them ended up wary of the 'children' who were getting along with them. Seeing their skins that has insect-like scales sends shiver down to their spines, they were curious but had to get along with them without realizing it.
Sonata's eyes watched the hooded men talking to Sonya for a moment, those kidnappers didn't show any intimidation towards her and her two friends--for unknown reason. Also, why Sonya didn't seems afraid of them? That's a huge question mark, for a children who have been 'nurtured' by them and being 'close' to these people. "Are you sure they won't hurt us?" Sonata asked, seeing her shake her head with a smile. "Of course not, trust me! We'll get out of here fast, I promise that!" she declared, while Serena agreed with a smile and Irina hums quietly in response.
Suona tugged on her sleeve, making Sonata looked at her frightened eyes--lifting up her head at her a little. "Is it... a promise?" she asked, Sonata stared at them before she glanced back at Suona. "I don't know... but we can trust them for a bit, as long I'm here with you... is that okay?" she asked, this made Suona nodded as she began to trust Sonata a little.
Until the next day, Sonata and Suona followed what Sonya and the two girls do to them--following them to the hallway and they thought it was a path to their 'escape'. "So, this is the exit?" she asked, Serena answered. "Yup, this is the exit! Just go!" her voice seems to be convincing, even for a minor like her.
Sonata took a step forward to the door, when she entered inside and the door closed behind her--someone knocked her out by a plank and she fainted afterwards. "Come on, it's your turn Suona!" Sonya encouraged, she hesitated before she nodded--approaching the door until she yelped when she got pushed by the three of them. As the door closed, she saw Sonata fainted there and when she was about to approach her--a plank hit her head and they got knocked out.
This is where they were brought to the auction.
End of Flashback...
Vincent was sitting on his vintage motorbike, waiting for his mentor-superior Lloyd to come at the National Postal Service's HQ in the midnight. "What took you so long, Master Lloyd?"
Lloyd yawned as he adjusted his spectacles, he looks like hell because he LITERALLY woke up from the third floor building's roof and looking out the window--lashing out with his short temper if someone approaches him or wake him up after taking a nap. Not even drinking coffee could fix his ass. "Sorry... I made a lot of strategy in my head and I forgot what is sleep..." he apologized with another yawn, his appearance looks very ruffled and need some fresh air but he went with a 'nope'. "Let's capture the Marauder named Rufus who harmed Mathilda... also Brando."
Cordelia had to take a temporary duty as an Acting Secretary-General because Mathilda is still unable to regain her sanity and he had to make sure she's alright in the infirmary, after what Rufus did to her village and that made the Coordinator-General had to take over her position temporarily. Lloyd ordered him to keep an eye on her while he will be handling some Marauders who close to the Reverse Organization leader--Simon Gallagher. "Yes, Master Lloyd. Let's go."
Lloyd hopped on behind Vincent while he still holding his cane, even though his cane looks like an ordinary cane--it was actually a sealed form of his Automotive Gear weapon. It's unknown what weapon was inside the cane. "Which base, sir?" Vincent asked as the light sparked before the engine ignited, the bike roared loudly before accelerating their way in the speed of light. The wind blew across both of them, his hair fluttered along the breeze. "Underground city of Sybille, where you encountered Brando earlier. By the way, what is your relationship with that man?"
Vincent heard his question, still facing forward while steering his motorbike. "He used to be my mentor in the village, I was born in Campbell Altus... I didn't know he was a Marauder back then--until this bastard choose to abandon me after using me for his agenda, in other words I become an avenger for my father's death."
He explained, and even though he didn't want to see that person who kept betraying him--he can't not let him slip and will soon lead them to the leader. Lloyd listened as his one hand holding his shoulder while his other hand holding his cane, this is the first time Vincent was being open (because his coolheaded and quiet demeanor didn't let him talk so easily). "Thanks for telling, even though you didn't have to--"
"You're one of the rare people who treat me as an equal, I appreciate that."
They stopped talking and stayed silent for the rest of the ride, a few minutes later as they arrived at the abandoned factory-warehouse around the area of Sybille-Anteras Regional. Lloyd adjusted his spectacles as he watched several kinds of creature lurking around--unaware of their presence that is being detected by several small Husk creatures that looks like... cockroaches. "Crap, there's Benedictine Husk and Limoncello Husk... be careful, Vincent," he warned.
While Benedictine Husk took a similar form of giant insect-like creature that is a cricket, Limoncello Husk took a form of giant insect-like creature similar to hissing cockroach. It has a three yellow glass lenses that used to show the eyes and their three antennae used to sense any enemies or the Husk Hounds that they work for. Their job is to detect either intruders or spies and destroy them immediately, known as the alarm-hunter.
"Do you want me to shoot them?" Vincent asked, but the Postmaster-General huffed with a grin. "No need, let me handle this."
Lloyd lifted his cane as it began to mechanically transformed into Automotive Gear weapon; Etude Op. 10, No. 3--a prototype rifle with bayonet blade combined and Diminuendo-type. His weapon is crafted with silver alloy steel with the appearance of a violin bow with the handle wrapped with black leather strap-a metal bayonet was added on its muzzle end which was equipped with an optical sight scope for aiming and targeting his enemies, its body is coated with special material which made it resistant to heat, The color of Melodic Amber stone that attached on the weapon is aquamarine, with the symbol of the star etched on it.
Lloyd aimed his rifle as he swung his arm forward to transform the rifle's automatic function, one hit with no damage barrier could wipe his enemies in no time. He fired with a powerful explosive projectile of an arrow shaped sphere that completely destroyed the alarm-hunter Husks in one blow (together with Benedictine Husks). The destructive sphere can pierce through physical bodies and wreck metal, it has an immense concentration of energy shaped in liquid that compressed into arrow-shaped round projectile by transforming, increasing the amount of impact. "I didn't know you would actually use your own Automotive Gear."
Vincent commented, folding his arms while eyeing the destroyed Husk that completely raided. "Hey, it's a full moon--you won't believe what I'm gonna do with extra power in my arsenal," Lloyd smiled, before they got off from the motorbike and entering the area as they have to clear the path before they can finally retrieve the evidence to lead them to the underground base of Reverse Organization.
Suddenly, Vincent can see someone is following him and Lloyd--wait, where does they come from?
Lloyd stopped as his ears listening to the sounds of a blade, the blade was moving so fast that it blocked the enemy attack--he aimed his rifle at Rufus to make sure he won't kill him. "What took you so long, son of Arthur?" Brando glared at him with a smirk. "Did you think I wouldn't stalking you just in case I found the clues to meet him--Simon Gallagher? I'm impressed that you became an official Emissary, so did that short girl."
Vincent gritted his teeth, the last time he met him in the woods--after that incident at the region of Campbell Altus, everything was now clear to him.
"Lloyd Warren... Vincent Winters, it's been a long time. Now the information about the Day of Disappearing Stars never mentioned--but things are getting interesting."
Rufus spoke, taking a form of a thirty-seven years old young man who wore black Chinese-type shirt with yellow lines on the collar as his chest is exposed. He has dark tanned skin, pale bluish-green eyes and shoulder-length red hair with several dark bands holding together as some strands cover his nose--with several horizontal scars shown on the left side of his forehead-cheekbones.
"What did you do to Mathilda?"
Lloyd asked calmly, but it sounds like an intimidation based on the tone of his voice. "Come on, you know what I did--you expect me to tell her pathetic lies? Listen, Lloyd... before you became a Postmaster-General--we offered you to become one of us after you expressed your disappointment with the Canarian government. But, you choose to oppose our Lord and follow the insignificant nation instead," he grinned, licking his lips.
Vincent raised his eyebrows, he couldn't believe the rumors about Lloyd was being offered to be a part of them. 'Is it... true?' he thought, but he can't shake his head off. Besides, they're clearly enemies. He remained silent, before he smirked at that statement alone. "This nation isn't perfect, what do YOU expect? Should I live in the society with fake truth? You can't change my mind; every Marauder are my enemies, everyone in the government also my enemies," the Postmaster-General said with his calm demeanor--however, there's a glint in his purple eyes. "I don't care if those people will force me to step down, I'm on people's side after all."
Rufus growled, before he and Brando got into their defense positions--the atmosphere is getting heavy like a massive storm was approaching. One-on-two, Lloyd still remains on his guard but has been ready. No matter if they're human or a Marauder, they will be stopped. "My allies will follow my path even if I'm being either dismissed or killed, I would never abandon them if Simon tried to manipulate them to join him."
He's right, he won't let anyone being manipulated and abandoned by the Reverse Organization leader; he felt pity on Mathilda, she and her entire unit failed and never expected the Day of Disappearing Stars happened last year. Even though they returned to the Welkin City, it seems like she never allowed to keep it a secret and will make the civilians in the danger as the Marauders hunting them without fearing the law, not until the Husk broke their morals and values.
Vincent remained silent, he saw Brando made an attempt to attack Lloyd and he was about to barricade his superior--but Lloyd signaled him 'let me handle this' on his eyes. He nodded before the Postmaster-General simply shot Brando, and before he could get up--Lloyd shot Rufus first before pointing his rifle towards Brando who's standing. He's quite faster than these old men. "Now now, Brando... I remember we used to be friends back then and we take down Husk after Husk. But, after finding out what you did to Vincent... I take back my words and consider us as enemies, too bad," he grinned slightly. "I know you're coming after one of my Mail-Hunters, and I know what are you talking about."
Brando tried to compose himself when he attacked the Postmaster-General as his sword clashed against the Automotive Rifle, the old man swung his sword heavily that almost hit the flesh--but Lloyd dodge it quickly. "You know what that means, I have to watch my back whenever I'm with you," he said. "Damn right, Lloyd. It is the 'Children of Light' we're talking about, the ones who were born during the Day of Disappearing Stars!"
When Brando left and dragged Rufus from the scene, Vincent watched the two men were getting into their positions. He would expect to be abandoned by his former ally and betrayed his trust. He glared at both of them, and despite his silent demeanor--he would never forgive those bastards. "Lloyd, are you..." he paused when he saw Lloyd walk out and he goes to follow him, he heard his superior asked. "Do you have a lighter?"
Oh right, he wants to smoke--badly. Lloyd always smoke to ease his negative thoughts and making him calm--most of the time he would try to mess around in the middle of work. Vincent had to bear with his smoking habit, before he gave him the lighter and Lloyd receive it from him. "Next time, if you try to kill yourself with that cigarette someday... I will kick your face," Vincent reminded him.
"Got it, chief."
Vincent heard his superior laughed a little, making him confused. "What? What is it?"
Lloyd finished smoking, and threw away the cigarette on the floor and stomp it--before grinding it with the sole of his boots. "The way you protected me, seems like the first time I saw you back then," he spoke, while the young Mail-Hunter remembered the first time when he and Lloyd was on an investigation on the Marauders causing damages on Welkin City.It was the time when Vincent showed his protective instincts to Lloyd and became more quiet during fights. That, he started acting like that for his best interests.
Vincent suddenly loomed towards his superior that made Lloyd shrieked, making him yelled. "Vince, I was just kidding! I'm sorry! Wait, don't kill me--" he begged as his back is cornered with the walls while Vincent pressed foot on the rock. The Postmaster-General turned into whimpering kitten, and his student Emissary was the one who's actually going to kill him. "Vincent, please wait! Give me a warning next time!"
"I can't believe my superior is actually a puppy in disguise."
"Wait! I'm your senior and you want to torture me?! Are you seriously a psychopath!?"
Vincent might be the greatest postman and would become the most valuable asset among the rest but would turned into such a brutal monster for Lloyd's sadistic antics and sometimes the eighteen-years old Emissary would roast Lloyd's attitude because he was going to try messing around with Vincent instead. They're not going to make progress due to Vincent's overprotective and grumpy behavior, and his superior will have no choice but to submit. Vincent put his foot down and walking back to the motorbike, hopping on the motorbike as he reminded him. "Come on, let's waste no time."
Lloyd grumbled, giving a glare at him. "Unbelievable... he usually a mute and he could talk but he didn't show any interest--ugh, what am I going to do to make him open up in the future?" he thought as he hopped on behind, before they began to drive straight to the next destination.

Mathilda was facing Rufus who was imprisoned in the cell, she tried to fight against her fear despite knowing how risky it is. It has been a long time they have met in the past, and she couldn't believe how did he ended up in Reverse Organization with this whole mess. "So, you became Secretary-General? How awfully impressive with your hard work, Mathilda," he spoke with a chuckle. "You know you're selling your soul to the government, right?"
Rufus taunted, seeing her narrowed her eyes as she stated. "The Enforcers are the ones who sold their souls to the government, now they are not," she kept her arms all folded, before she sighed. "National Postal Service isn't belonged to the government, but it was Master Lloyd's organization-he founded the organization along Master Alastair. What makes you think that they sold their souls to the government? They're not foolish enough to do such a thing."
Mathilda spoke out despite the anxiety she fought against with, because Rufus was the one who haunted her and made her losing her mind. She knew about what Rufus is capable of doing; even before she went mad after she encountered him in the region of Elegy; she already heard of his reputation as a ruthless and merciless Marauder who would go through anyone who stand in their way without mercy; and he had no problem murdering children who stood in his path either.
Rufus didn't care how innocent, or young a person might be and he wouldn't hesitate to murder them; even if they were family. The reason why Lloyd was worried over Rufus' whereabouts, is because he fears that he will harm Mathilda.
"What do you think, Mathilda? Do you think that there's something inside the man-made sun?"
Rufus asked, making her narrowing her eyes. "What do you mean by that?" she asked coldly, making her grew bothered with his words. "Well… regarding you and Senja's birth… he's your childhood friend, right?" Mathilda heard his question, but she didn't answer his question, instead she turned her gaze at him with cold glare.
"Don't act like a fool, Mathilda," Rufus said aggressively, making her scowl at him. "You don't have a choice but to answer me, you know what I can do to you," Mathilda sighed, before she folded her arms. "You're a Marauder, Rufus," she replied, but it sounded like an accusation rather than answering his question. "Yes, I am a Marauder, that's why I have to protect my country... my beloved homeland..."
Mathilda heard him snicker, as he said. "You're lying to yourself, Mathilda. You know what I can do to you-you know what I'm capable of doing. Don't try to deny it."
Mathilda glared at him spitefully, she knew he would eventually find out the truth. "We're not loyal to the government of Canaria," she replied calmly, but her tone was filled with bitterness. "You're not loyal either, and I know that from the past. But we don't do things the way you do," she added. "It's our duty as citizens of our nation to take action against injustice and wrongdoings within the people, we just want to protect people--not defending the government," Mathilda explained, before she turn around and walk away--leaving the prison and escaped from there.
Rufus couldn't believe what she said, she was honest enough to admit her own thoughts on this whole matter. She was true to herself, the way he wanted to be in the past. If only he was more courageous during his younger years; maybe things would be different right now, but he couldn't do anything about it now.
Meanwhile...
Cabernet Husk is a Husk creature with powerful and a similar shape of a large dragonfly--its skin is bright red on its body, mouth, and lower wings while its face and wings' upper side are hot pink. It has sharp and massive emerald eyes, and its mouth was very sharp and curved, akin to scissors or shears. It is capable of flying fast, able to fly above the clouds and even submerge underwater for several minutes. Its wingspan is twice the size of a human body and its claws are sharp enough to cut diamond easily. The Cabernet Husk needed Melodic Scores from people even Mail-Hunters to regain its strength--and targeting on Artificial Light that shines through the night of Canaria--where the entire country has no sun with the only light coming from the man-made sun that rests over the capital, Welkin City. It is created by Simon in order to make the Hybridization program more successful; he wanted to create an army of Hybrids who are able to fight against the government of Canaria as an act of protest.
Simon was observing the view while he entered the underground city of Sybille, he couldn't care less to see the Marauders were all injured and he simply chuckled. Brando narrowed his eyes a little at him, wondering what he is talking about. "What's so funny? First, we lost Claude and now we have to punish Rufus because of this mess," he explained, but Simon turn around with his dark brown short hair with bangs almost covering his gray eyes--he has light fair complexion as he wears his usual black suit with black cape that draped over his shoulders. "Those brats who escaped eight years ago... I've been meaning to let them go from the beginning, it has been planned... turns out I didn't expect she would return like this."
Sonya was growling angrily after she got defeated by Sonata, she didn't expect this girl has developed from timid, closed-off and gullible into a strong, courageous and determined once she has grown. Not only that, what is that light that surrounds her? It made her wonder if Sonata has been born with it, perhaps Suona could potentially has 'it'? No way, she didn't want to make an assumption yet. "Damn it! How can this be?!" she cursed, looking at Serena and Irina who were sitting across the broken platforms. "Seriously, did our 'Father' intentionally let this place messed up?"
Serena asked, seeing the other Hybrids were waiting for their 'Father' to come into their base of operations. They bowed at him who was standing in front of the messy auction hall, seeing that everyone has been arrested. "Our deep apologies, 'Father'... we failed to auction the subjects that you needed and--"
"No need, I already know that."
Simon stated, holding a cane on his hand as he smirked. "The Cabernet Husk has been prepared, everything all according to my plan. So, why worry about that? The Melodic Scores will be gathered through devouring the Artificial Light and destroy the government so it will crumbles like an ashes to the ground!" he explained, his words twisted with dark and voracity in his tone. He desired to not only overthrow the government, but somewhat did something that beyond common sense. The Hybrids were wide-eyed at his true intention, his ambition that against the government made him couldn't care less of the innocents in Canaria.
Irina was shocked when she listens to him, even Sonya and Serena were horrified of him. Brando began to doubt his trust towards Simon, now he began to think of Rufus who has been stuck there.
"All of you will be one of us, the Husks will rule the world! Alden will be dead in my hands! Not even Xingfa and Zhilan Hastings can defeat me, they will die as well... so does Lloyd Warren and his peers..."
On the other side...
"Alastair, how was it?"
Alastair heard his superior-friend Lloyd asked when he stood beside Solvine at the gorge near the Sybille area, with the rest of the Mail-Hunters Armed Enforcement Squad. "The nest of the Cabernet Husk is over there, the Hounds were on their way since those animals caught their scent. Once the Husk are fully awake, they're ready to strike on the next move," Alastair explained, while he observed the Cabernet Husk cocoons.
They were spying on Simon Gallagher from the distance, where the place was full of nothing but wrecked city--wasted from the aftermath of the Day of Disappearing Stars. It was Aria, one of the tri-regions of Canaria that would take down the Prime Minister-Marauders hiding and lead them to their base to wipe the organization. "Then... what should we do next?" Solvine asked, watching the cocoon. "We have to wait until the transformation is complete, no matter how long it takes."
Alastair explained, Lloyd grinned and turned to look at Solvine. "Ahem... Solvine, I know you're a Winter Wolf and Suiren is a Spring Serpent so... can both of you transform into your respective true forms to withhold the Cabernet Husk? Also, make sure that no Husks will be interfering with the battle," he offered, making Solvine's face turning sour--not that he had a problem with it, but how Lloyd being casual all the time. "Do you really like seeing me in that form again?"
Lloyd's response to that was silent and he wasn't ashamed, before giving an answer as his hands folded. "Come on! I promise I won't touch your fur like that time, I missed watching you and Suiren transforming--besides, those monsters are just bunch of weaklings and nobody could break a barrier from this rock, at least."
"... If anything goes wrong--you will explain why I'm in this situation, right?"
"Aww, don't worry, I got it all figured out. The form probably going to last in a minute, it's not that hard y'know."
Solvine was going to punch that smug face at the Postmaster-General, making Alastair rolled his eyes at him. It seems like, their friendship will be complicated once he's around--don't even begin to start with Vincent's attitude towards his superior and mentor. Lloyd sighed, while he was smiling in hiding his pain. "Oh damn, this is so embarrassing... I was always the one who makes fun of, now I turned into the whipping boy--have mercy on me," he begged, before he cringed when Suiren was glaring at him too. 'And I was suppose to make our friendship better, guess I screwed up... oh well, at least it didn't get personal...'
Suiren also heard that which made him holding back from blasting a huge torrent of water towards Lloyd from his mouth, but he decided to hold it back (because he has been indebted to him). Oswald watched the view while standing beside Suiren, he keep a hold on his cane while he stated. "Focus, all of you," he demanded, even though he was Lloyd's friend-subordinate--he had to keep the team in control and focused on their mission.
They encountered Simon who was trying to take out his cloak, before revealing his half-form of the Husk--his appearance was nothing but a giant St. Germain Husk with draconic-scorpion humanoid hands on the other body. They grimaced but they have to went along with the plan, and it might take a while for them to finish them off. "It's been a while, Lloyd Warren..." Simon greeted him, smiling eerily at the Postmaster-General.
Lloyd and Simon have known each other for a long time, however they were aware--they're also rivals. He is not his ally, because he is an official Mail-Hunter with the most innocent people for the country. Even, for a 'war'. "Simon Gallagher, you seems awful for an old man. Mind if you can quit being an ugly Marauders or get a little more sleep? Sorry about that," he joked with a laugh, but deep down he kept his guard.
Simon narrowed his eyes, how could this person do these jokes. "Please, the only way to stop your words from bothering me is to keep you and your Mail-Hunter away from ruining my plans," the Reverse Organization leader smirked.
"I wanted to overthrow the government, they have corrupted a lot of promises. I'm saving the world from their betrayal, as for your friend and Mathilda who failed in the previous war."
They knew there's a little truth, in a sense that the Day of Disappearing Stars became a mess and the Husks appeared after the war was over. However, the world never been a perfect place and whatever people do--it won't be a cause of destruction if there's no reason to escalate the matter. The world will never be a paradise because of corruption and some of the humans tend to seek the same thing, after the nations fight for power it never lasted--what difference that there's still hope left.
"Once again, I want to offer you. Do you want to join me, your student could be a greater asset as the Prime Minister once I became the absolute leader."
Simon was offering an invitation to the Emissaries, specifically the Postmaster-General. After becoming one of the officials, Lloyd had felt a heavy burden on his shoulders and that almost destroy his free-spirited personality; he know his position well and he definitely not going to fall on the wrong side. They are given a duty to protect Canaria and so he is loyal to it and can never accept. Alastair simply glanced, he saw Lloyd standing his ground with his serious side.
"No."
Lloyd stared back, answering Simon's decision.
"I'm a Mail-Hunter, and becoming a Postmaster General for National Postal Service is not that easy. It wouldn't end well if I have accepted your offer and so, I refused. Why? I know the government has messed up and of course I don't like the government like this... however there's something else, you're forgetting that Canaria had innocent people. They didn't deserve to live in pain and fear. Not all the Marauders who had bad intentions are the same as the pureblood."
Alastair was listening, he glanced at his comrades. "He's right, every civilians in this country are being traumatized and not every Marauders will be evil like the ones we're facing, there's still hope to be found and can be used against the enemy... I understand that you really hated the government because of what they have done, but... what you did is WRONG. No world is perfect--no matter what happens; if humanity tried to make things better, there will be an obstacle of the past that could lead to their demise. That's why, we have to keep moving forward."
Simon was shocked, it didn't stop him from creating his army. "But look at Canaria now, are they worth the sacrifice!?" Simon laughed, making them enraged. "What's wrong with taking a step forward? Are you scared and lost in their world? Is that why the Husk is appearing in the past? Don't tell me this is the end. Let me remind you that humanity will betray you for their selfishness, they will bring the sins after repeating their errors, their past can never be forgotten after you are watching--standing before your eyes. Soon, you'll see everyone in Canaria and you will stand before them and all will burn!"
Simon yelled at Lloyd, angering the Mail-Hunter for his corrupted ideals as the war is going to begin. Lloyd's eyes covered under his spectacles, so angry that he was being insulted of their sacrifices and lives--never forgot the lessons he has been taught. He would remember the Night of Silence, the event where he encountered the Reverse for the first time when he was young. That time, Lloyd hated the government so much to the point of considering an offer to destroy the Canarian government--but he knew deep down inside, he couldn't leave the innocent people after being betrayed by his friends. "You almost joining us, Lloyd... but you choose to stand before them like you didn't care about your own existence. All that freedom of expression and opinions, they called it for! Do you still want to stand against me!?"
What Simon just said was reminding him, that moment.
However, Lloyd was unaffected by that--he simply chuckles lightly that made Solvine, Suiren and Alastair confused. Not even Vincent, Vincent didn't see Lloyd's eyes because the rage of Simon's ideology made him blind. Despite that, his laughter sounds almost mocking and that got the Reverse leader made of him. "Oh dear, you really fell for 'it'... huh?" Lloyd responded with a chuckle, he gripped on his cane with a grin. He knew that they can do something to change the fate, and always keep it in his mind. "Listen here, call me a fool all you want... I will say it again, it won't be 'that' long anymore. I am not going to let that happen."
"I always been a lone wolf, but today I will walk with the pack and defend the innocents from enemies like you. You really ARE a genocidal bastard, Gallagher."
Simon roared angrily, launching his scorpion tail with thorns and black violet flames. Solvine made a form as a giant white-silver furred Winter Wolf, with piercing blue eyes and slender feral body covered in light snowy-white furs with muzzled jaws--his teeth are similar to the arctic werewolf. Suiren, transformed into a giant Spring Serpent with light and dark purple colored-feathered wings. His scales were light turquoise and his icy serpentine eyes pierced with fierce. The two creatures deflects the flames with their elements before making a combined attack, making Simon shocked to see the legendary creatures appeared before him.
"Y-You... how did you get these...?"
Lloyd adjusted his spectacles, before his dark purple eyes staring at him menacingly with a relaxed but mocking gaze. "It's a secret, I'm afraid to let you know how," he mocked him, while the two creatures glaring down at him--prepared to devour him in one gulp. "Oh, by the way, Simon--we will stop you and your Marauders once and for all. Like it or not. We indeed hate the government, but I have different beliefs and thought to myself this... people are still people, not only the Marauders should save but humanity was, in order to prevent the corrupted past repeating itself. Just because people can't forget the past doesn't mean we should repeat the same things in the past, they should let it go. Well, just tell Simon this and I hope it sticks forever, right, Oswald?"
"One chance will never last, instead of standing between heaven and hell; we must walk away in order to fight the world, not the other way around."
Lloyd always referred Simon as a genocidal lunatic, even though the Marauders are the same as him; but he always stuck to his ideals. If the man cannot see the light and the truth, they have no choice but to use force even if it means defeating him for good. He was blinded by his own lies and goals that he didn't recognize that the citizens of Canaria or anyone will be able to break the cycle of suffering. "You tried to get rid of Winter Wolf and Spring Serpent once, remember? Now look, they're alive once again and it's history repeating itself... no matter how much times you tried to kill them or 'us', people like us will keep interfering with your schemes and soon the end is finally near, Old Fart."
Okay, here we go AGAIN with his friendly, joking-yet-sarcastic taunts and jabs but that was his trait alone. "You kidnapped Sonata and Suona, you almost sold them to people in the auction of Reverse. And, you have plans on taking them back... I'm afraid you can't, you wanted to get rid of them because they're one of the Children of Light who were born during the Day of Disappearing Stars--you're scared because of the prophecy. Well, guess what? The prophecy was written based on the war and never predicted the Day of Disappearing stars, I believe that we are running out of time if this keeps up."
The Children of Light were gifted with magic-like ability, some are either born handicapped and some born human with half-hybrid descents. They were believed to be powerful among others but there's a limit--the limit means that they have their weaknesses, they also develop the gifts further but these gifts could affect their mental state and some parts of their mind.
