Kapitel I: Bit By Bit--My Heart is Falling For You

--Present Day--

Sonata Nocturna; the sixteen-years old girl has a long winter-white long hair almost messy at the upper part similar to wolf’s cut hairstyle but longer, her bangs that almost covering her round teal-blue eyes, and one braided piece behind her ear that is placed on her shoulder and she has alabaster complexion. Wearing a uniform consists of dark Prussian blue hooded jacket coat with the platinum golden accents and musical note pendant strapped and hanging between her open jacket coat, white formal shirt along an opened bluish-black vest with gold platinum-colored straps underneath and a pair of light khaki shorts with thin black suspenders. In addition of dark Prussian blue thigh high boots with straps, she wears a pair of black fingerless gloves with the gold platinum accents—with gold platinum music note that hanging by the strings between her jacket coat. She also quite petite as a human with the half-Winter Wolf descent and feature, with adorable-looking face and child-like from her petite posture—she gained a white wolf ears and white wolf tail behind her back. Her wolf ear has a light platinum gold earring which has blue rune-like gem, hanging loosely from the hook.

Sonata is cheerful and energetic girl who has bright personality, cares a lot to the people around her--therefore innocent who doesn't mind asking something from others. Her appearance didn't seem to have dangerous side from her, except when she was angry--she would go feral such as her pupils sharpened and her nails extracted from her fingernails. When that happens, the last word when she goes into rage: Angry Wolf. However, behind her smile and happy-go-lucky attitude--there's something enigmatic about Sonata. On several occasions she experiences mood swings, suddenly expressing deep sadness or joy before returning to a neutral state only a few minutes later.

"Suona! Over here!"

Suona Fermata or Suona; the sixteen years old girl watched Sonata waved at her which made her smiled happily, running towards her childhood friend. She has a white and light purple knee-length hair that's tied into single braid, with long bangs that almost reach her turquoise-blue eyes and fair complexion. She has a white-light purple small water serpent-like dragon's horns behind her ears with corals and a long dark purple tail with a tuft fur. She wears a sleeveless black Mandarin-collared shirt with a turtle neck, sleeveless white short coat with dark Prussian blue ombre underneath and gold platinum lines with sea waves at the back and at the bottom with gold and darker blue colors. With a separate white sleeves with dark Prussian blue and gold platinum wings-like patterns at the top--along a red sash around her waist with gold platinum musical note pendant sachet hanging on the side, her right sleeve has a little fur around it from the top--she also wears a black tights with dark riding boots with gold platinum shades.

Suona is high-spirited, spirited, self-controlled and determined, sometimes she tends to lose her temper rather easily when it comes to touching her horns and her tail--her sensitivities (because it's still part of her human body in the end). Also, when she sees perverts, she would spray them with water breath although it would create a mess which it didn't amused anyone at all. But in all honesty, Suona tends to be naive and has good intentions for everyone, and she can be quite childish like Sonata. She's very hyperactive that she's running around cheerfully, she has no hesitation or showered with an optimistic way to pursue her dreams. "Are you ready on the examination?" she asked, making Sonata nodded.

"Yeah, let's go!"

--During the Entrance Examination--

The examination was supervised by both Vice-Head Mail-Hunter Cordelia Ashleigh and Head Mail-Hunter Damian Weller, these two are the proctors of the examination--ensuring that the candidates were worthy enough to become a Mail-Hunter. Both of them are close partners--they are also professional comedic duo and they're very popular in the town of Welkin, especially during festivals, celebrations, and events around the cities of Canaria.

Cordelia Ashleigh is a twenty-three years old Lieutenant of the Mail-Hunters and Damian's secretary, she has a long light white hair with ashen shades and bangs almost covering her purplish-carmine eyes over her brown sunglasses--she also has porcelain complexion. She wears a dark Prussian blue chest-length blazer with the gold platinum accents over a white high-collared formal uniform with black suspenders and dark purple ascot tie around the collars, and wears a dark Prussian blue knee-length skirt with brown tights and black heeled shoes with straps and has gold platinum musical note keychain strapped on the dark blue and white-lined banner around her left shoulder to her upper arm.

Gilbert Weller is a twenty-five years old Captain of the Mail-Hunters and Cordelia's partner, he has dark auburn short hair with bangs almost covering his almond-colored eyes and cheeks--with alabaster complexion. His attire consists of dark Prussian blue trench coat with several belts over his waist that covered his white formal shirt and dark blue ascot tie with dark purple vest, he wears a dark Prussian blue pants tucked into his knee-length riding boots--he has gold platinum musical note keychain strapped on the side of his belt that was left hanging--he also wear dark brown sunglasses.

The first phase was the theory which is written test, secondly is practice test by delivery and reaching for the destination in time and the third but last test; the selection. The worst nightmare for all of the recruits for their results, from their hard work and grades even their tests were counted in the selection. Anyone who wishing to become a Mail-Hunter must first pass a series of tests in order to determine if they have the have the abilities needed to do Mail-Hunter's dangerous job.

The second phase of the first test takes place at a candidate's home town, and is usually difficult enough that only a few are able to pass. The second test is held at the National Postal Service, where the candidates are given an actual letter to deliver along a pre-determined path. Candidates may choose to use their own transportation if they have one. Passing is not only determined by the speed at which the letter is delivered on time or not, whether or not a candidate is able to use their Automotive Gear; a special projectile-type weapon equipment for Mail-Hunters to fight against Husks through their Melodic Scores; a life force of human heart that can utilize a powerful aimed blast-like attack towards the Husk creatures.

Sonata gulped, she look around her surroundings to see the other candidates were nervous wreck and some are competitive enough to become a Mail-Hunter.

Suona was feeling afraid that she can't passed and she will probably won't have another chance after this, one and done was it. "Uhm... Sonata, are you sure we can make it together?" she asked her, Sonata smiled. "Of course, Suona! If we didn't, you would cry," she answered, making her pout. "That's true..." she mumbled, until she and the other was called that it's started.

"Alright, we'll be your proctors for today! The Automotive Gears has been prepared as your weapons, remember that if you want to pass this exam," one of the officials stated, while preparing their own and stood at the next of their own group. "Once we count to three and you heard the sound of the chimes--leave immediately to your individual starting points! When I shoot the flare gun, you are all allowed to begin!"

Everyone tensely nod, Sonata and Suona turn towards each other with their determined faces. "Alright, good luck Sonata."

"Good luck, Suona."

"On your marks...!"

Everyone took their stands while everyone prepares themselves, while Suona and Sonata are mentally preparing themselves as well. The girls taking a deep breath, and they held on tightly on their weapons which is a sniper rifle with the attachment of Melodic Amber on the side. Cordelia put her gun ready on her hand that waiting for the official to start, when the official shouted; "GO!" when the sound of the chimed.

Everyone jump over the wall in sudden to leave in order to find the location that has been given by the city map, which is shown to be a different place. Sonata got the one that headed towards Canzona District while Suona got the one located in Ave Maria Town, the girls smirked confidently when everyone's getting ahead but the distance for Sonata is impossible and she must passed along on running the 'usual' route. Although that doesn't matter, because Sonata would overcome any obstacles that what's possible in all. As the clouds slowly cover the sunlight above her, the girl seems to be unfazed despite the sudden situation appeared in front of her.

Sonata paused to see one of the candidates almost fell from the path because of a trap hole, using the tree branch as a leverage to prevented her to fall instead. Now she has no choice but to find the route to avoid obstacles through the rough terrain, and it didn't stop her as she ran across the path of the bushes--finding her own trail that leads to the destination. Even now and then she used the vines as a swinging ropes, and when she landed, she hid behind the huge boulder to avoid any Husk passing through--paying no mind on the distracted and ignoring the candidates that been chase down, her goal is important--whether she wants to, or it can help her to pass.

"I hope Suona would make it."

Sonata murmured, looking at the Husk creature as she aimed the sniper-like Automotive Gear in front of the beast--blasting the lights of Melodic Scores and sending the creature into the hole.

On the other side, Suona has a flexible agility to avoid her from anything that in her track towards her place of destination, doing front flips over the trees that hung low as the strong winds blowing. Suddenly, one of the beasts came straight in her face as the Husk roared viciously--Suona dodge the attack as she leapt off to the side and narrowed her eyes. Then, she whipping out her Automotive Gear without hesitation to shot it with the melodies she unleashes and pushed the Husk away by the powerful melody. She jumped off in a haste, before the Husk gets the chance to hit her--landing straight and she shot the blast that goes through the Husk's stomach--the weak spot that made the beast got ultimately destroyed in a matter of seconds.

It doesn't take a long time for those two.

Back at the National Postal Service, Damian observed the results of the examination and finally declared the results of the National Postal Service had announced their results. Once he watched the Emissaries reached their destination on time and some are not, his eyes landed on Sonata who was on time and Suona as the final candidate has finished second-to-last with one of the recruit. She was panting heavily, wondering that she lost time trying to fend off the creatures to leave her alone when the group surrounds her, and gave her time that's hard enough for her to overcome.

Sonata handed the letter to the recipient from her Automotive Gear, apologizing. "I'm sorry for being late, we are under attack by the enemies a couple of hours ago, and my companion must spent her time trying to fend them off from getting close to the people we've protecting."

"Oh no, it's okay! You must be one of the Mail-Hunters? Thank you for bringing me the letter on time."

The boy thanked her, as she nodded and smiled.

Sonata turned around before she went back to the NPS, realizing Suona was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, Suona handed the letter on time towards the recipient. "Here you go!" she exclaimed, when the young child smiled brightly and thank her back. "Hey, you're a Mail-Hunter right?"

"Mhm, sure am."

"Thank you for protecting us from harm and we're always thankful to be protected."

Sonata wondered what she should do, wondering where she's going to find Suona and hoping she's safe. This is after all their first meeting, and if there's chance that's not going to happen, she has to rescue her on her own. Then, she saw Suona ran back to the NPS and she greeted her happily. "Suona, you're safe! Are you alright?" Suona sighed in relief and smiled, wiping the sweat from her forehead. "Yes, I'm safe. I spent my time pushing them away, those creatures just kept on coming--so I have no choice but to defend on my own."

There are approximately thirty-five candidates left out of their original hundred applicants. Two of which is Sonata and Suona, the others are ineligible to pass for some factors like accidentally broke their Automotive Gears, breaking rules, losing the delivery paper or letting themselves getting caught for failing to protect themselves. The two quickly changed their clothes when they received their uniform--a new attire for being part of the National Postal Service. It's still the same main attire they wore, just the more neat, organized and identical patterns to them.

The both of them step down onto the practice field, where they will undergo a full-forced-practice-combat for them to test their Automatic Gears against the Husk which will be shown on the screen. Cordelia observed on Sonata's strength and weakness, as Suona did the same. 'Her scores are mostly balanced compared to those average beings...' Cordelia thought with a small smile, as she tapped her pen against her mouth. "Sonata Nocturna's strength is her physical and mental prowess, but a little below her abilities and her weaknesses are too much emotions of everything."

She looked over Suona's paper that shows Suona's abilities. "Suona Fermata's strength is her raw strength and she can also be a medic despite her weak abilities in other parts. Her weakness is her timid and a tendency to be hurt, even if it's just a little scrape..."

"...It can be fatal to her with her abilities," Damian concluded as Cordelia glanced over him with an unamused look. "Oh come on, we also need a medic or some sort right?" she whined and he chuckled, ignoring her complains and watch their condition from his seat above the stadium.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

The final test has been done, Sonata laid down on the floor with Suona who drank a canteen of water with a towel covering her head. They were waiting with the other candidates who were passed, waiting to get the news that announced who is worth to become a Mail Hunter, and who's not worthy enough to be a Mail Hunter. However, Cordelia and Gilbert have their decision long before this day--when they looked over to the piles of forms that have been written. "Alright, the announcement has been out! The two candidates of this examination shall rise upon!" Damian exclaimed, and both Sonata and Suona's attention was brought over them.

Sonata closed her eyes in awaiting for the result, even Suona who was nervous of the result about who will pass the examination test--until they opened their eyes while listening to the result.

"As per my decision and all of the superiors, both Sonata Nocturna and Suona Fermata will continue on being part of the National Postal Service! SN-524, Sonata Nocturna! ST-590, Suona Fermata! You passed the test!"

Just when both of the girls entered and joined the National Postal Service organization along with other rookies, the Mail Hunters are doing their jobs with excellent synchronizations. They cheered each other happily, after being able to enroll into the postal service and they also cheered the other candidates while supporting each other, despite sometimes it can be competitive. After they passed through the examination to be a Mail Hunter, Sonata kept her signature Mail Hunter uniform attire--just like Suona who remained wearing the same uniform. All they need is the suitcase and their custom-made Automotive Gear weapon against the Husks, an essential things for Mail-Hunters. "What a spectacular place!" Suona shouted happily as she looked outside at the sky.

Sonata smiled brightly when she walked along the streets of the town with her suitcase as she walks by the people and greet them. She had met several people who were curious about her appearance and why she was an Emissary of Post; or Winter Wolf Mail Hunter--as Suona is known as the Spring Serpent Mail Hunter. "I'll be getting my Automotive Gear real quick, how about you?" Sonata asked, her friend Suona hummed before she folded her arms. "I need to get mine as well too, but it's in the other building so...I think I'll take you to go, how's that?" she patted her friend's back that she whimpered from the impact, Sonata's wolf ears and tail pinned down in uncomfortable way.

"Ahaha...please don't ever hit me like that."

Sonata and Suona split up into different ways; the former was in the locker room where Sonata had her own locker where she stored her work belongings, which she earned her Automotive Gear from the Weaponsmith Section in National Postal Service HQ. "Okay... here's the Chopin's Nocturne Op. 20..."

Chopin's Nocturne Op. 20; a prototype gunblade with a blue Melodic Amber's symbol shows a crescent moon shape and Crescendo-type, the gunblade weapon is the combination of electromagnetic gun and sword, which uses compressed air to fire projectiles in a high velocity and it has three barrels that can be swapped out easily for different purposes or ammunition types and the blade used to slice the Husk creatures in no time--with the ammunition of Melodic Scores—a life force of human heart that Emissaries had naturally from born. It has dark blue Melodic Amber with a symbol of the wolf attached on the gunblade, true to the color of her Melodic Scores.

The gunblade didn't seem difficult enough for her to hold, but its massive size of the blade is good for her--all in all to slash and shoot the Husks. Sonata Nocturna, a Mail-Hunter who'd just enlisted to fight against the Husks and delivering mails safely--and has begin of her full-time job in National Postal Service. The first thing that comes up to mind right now is that it makes her feel safe, since it has its own ability to protect her from any danger that can appear.

"Let's see how this works," Sonata spoke as she pressed the button of the case, her eyes widened that mechanically and technically morphed into prototype weapon similar to gun and sword combination. The sound was muffled, almost like it is being played by a mechanical click of instrument. The handle of it is made of metal, and with black grip on the side and a silver trigger with the golden emblem. A black-glow came out from the case as it was powered up, making it look like it was shining bright in the dark.

"First time using that?"

Sonata shrieked when she heard a voice from across her and turn around, the eighteen years old Mail-Hunter was standing there with the door's opened.

Eleonora Alastrine Farron or nicknamed Claire; the eighteen years old young Mail-Hunter observing her for a while, folding her arms while looking down at Sonata. Her bangs almost covering her purple-blue eyes and that fell between her face, her loose rose pink hair was pulled to the left shoulder in slight wave like a wolf's cut, wearing a silver hoop earring on her ears. She wears a signature Emissary uniform consists of black sleeveless blazer with tailcoat reaching her knees on the side, separate sleeves and golden platinum borders, a white lines on the zippers and outlines on her high collars--covering her black sleeveless turtleneck underneath that has zipper on that and wears black tight short pants underneath. With a black tights with garter belt and black boots with back heels--she has black straps over her shoulders to her waist and slightly ripped black cape on her left shoulder reaching her knees. With a pair of long black fingerless gloves, she also gains a white 'slumbering dragon' emblem on the strap that she looks lean built--and has musical note pendant on the zipper of her blazer-tailcoat.

Claire is cold, determined, concentrated and independent young woman who was born in noble family of Canaria--making her as a Royal Mail-Hunter of National Postal Service. Although it was actually because of her father who made her hard-headed to never give up. Sometimes she can be stubborn and serious, which can make her the worst opponent who had been defeated--but her caring side remained intact. Despite being popular around girls due to her archetype as a tomboyish and strong young woman, she was actually attentive to Sonata while helping the other recruits and superiors, and cares a lot to Sonata during the examination (while observing her that time).

"Y-Yes, that's right... and I assume that you're one of the new Mail-Hunters?"

Sonata asked, knowing her cold persona might scare her--Claire glanced at the child-like young Mail-Hunter who blinked in confusion as the late teen nodded. "Yes, at your service as Claire, nice to meet you," Claire introduced herself. That made Sonata began to warm up a little, seeing the young adult starting to grow fond of her. "S-Sonata Nocturna, nice to meet you too..." Sonata introduced herself as she smiled sheepishly when she was facing her for the first time in person, she hoped that she didn't judge her for her features. "Hmm… interesting, never seen those features on your head and back before, but overall it’s adorable," Claire complimented.

Sonata was astonished when Claire complimented her, before seeing her turn around with her black suitcase that has gold handle on-it was Claire's Automotive Gear; Pachelbel's Canon in D Major--the Decrescendo-type weapon took form of gunblade and a Decrescendo-type. Every Mail-Hunters are obligated to carry Automotive Gear, which had been refined during nineteenth and twentieth centuries; a firearm-shaped device primarily used to extract and focus a particular type of energy only found inside humans, known as melodies, which their equipments took different types of attacks depends on their range and how they wield their weapon. The weapon has a purple-colored Melodic Amber with a symbol of thunder, true to her Melodic Score's color.

Sonata did not hesitate but just realized on how much the Automotive Gears can easily take up a life force of human heart from an individual within Emissary, what she knew was she had been trained the hard way to extract the human's strength and energy beat into the Automotive Gears. "You've gotten a very good taste with your choice," Claire, seeing Sonata's Automotive Gear weapon. "Well... my skills are both close and long-ranged attacks so... I think I need to take a training class to use this."

Claire turned her back around when she heard the smaller girl, but without her knowing... Claire was smiling in her thoughts. "Let's get to Stardust Express Station first, many Mail-Hunters were gathering in there."

Claire reminded when she left the room and nodded by grabbing her suitcase, that she has in here and now following her to the station. There's so many Mail-Hunters with signature dark Prussian blue and gold platinum color of National Postal Service, but a different style of attributes they choose to modified for their own.

Sonata waved at Suona who approached both of them, while carrying her new Automotive Gear weapon; Spring Snow Suite, Symphony No. 40 in G Minor--the Decrescendo-type weapon that took form of prototype brown and black guzheng that has violet-colored Melodic Amber with a symbol of serpent dragon, the weapon focused on converting melodies from each plucks on the strings into arrow-like attacks from above--great at long-distance shooting and slightly-powerful slashes. What truly stood out the most is the Melodic Amber embedded on top of the guzheng's strings, and the brown light along with small crystals appeared under the holes.

Suona greeted Claire for the first time, allowing her to greet her back just like what she did to Sonata. Both of them saw the young man approaching them who appears to be familiar to Claire, seeing him was taller than her when he flicked her forehead as his habit.

"Ouch, what was that for, Gabriel?"

Gabriel Galbraith; a tall and handsome eighteen-years old Mail-Hunter has black hair of longer-length which he often styled in an untidy manner in neck-length and almost at his shoulders, a pair of sharp, golden-colored eyes under his messy uneven bangs and fair complexion. He wears his signature Mail-Hunter attire consists of collared shirt with buckles, a cravat over his shirt and black waistcoat with three gold-piece buttons, white gloves, black pants with strap around his right leg that holds a bluish-black, light platinum silver dual guns with musical notes embroidery; his Automotive Gear; Requiem D. Minor, Lacrimosa—a Diminuendo-type weapon. Wearing a Dark Prussian blue-black mixed collared coat with schemes of the gold platinum, black boots that are pointed at the tips, added with his golden piercing on his left ear and golden cross earrings on his both ears. He wears a black hat on his head, almost covering his eyes-with the gold platinum musical note pendant on the brooch of his cravat.

Gabriel has a cold and reserved exterior but despite this, he actually a nice and caring young man for his life, unlike he used to when it was the darkest memory. He always composed and observant most of the time, but that's because he has an eyeful of his surroundings like a raven. He cares about his friends in his workplace, such as Claire and the others who are new to the NPS.

"I was making sure if you're awake yet, since you stayed up a lot," Gabriel stated, seeing her rubbing her eyes yawning and trying to ignore the effect on her forehead that he did to her.

"I'm already awake you know… no need to do that, besides you overslept earlier," Claire grumbled back on Gabriel, who seemed to be chill about the fact she was right. As Suona started to figure out who they are, she really does admire both of them; being best friends for a long time. "Woah... you guys are..."

Sonata was watching them the whole time that the two of them has faced her, her smile lingered that almost like teasing them but she won't question their relationship from the first glance. "Hehe, are you guys have a moment?" Sonata asked innocently while grinning as well, seeing that Claire and Gabriel both blushed from her comment. "Y-You!" both of them laughed at their expenses, Gabriel was the one who growled after being teased for a second time since it's supposed to be two against one--BUT SONATA HAS SUONA SO THAT MAKES THEM TWO AGAINST TWO! They don't mind it, except they were easy to tease them as well.

"Ahem, apologies from that earlier.”

Sonata heard Claire cleared her throat, before she was resting her other hand on her hip. "As Emissary, you must deliver packages of the memoirs that your clients sent you, not only you reached your destination right in time--but... you have to make sure that everything will be fine until the last moment before you can leave," Claire said sternly, as she observed Sonata and Suona for a moment. "You'll meet people that are curious about your appearance and your name, so don't forget to greet them politely."

Sonata nodded at her, before Claire handed the express passports for both Sonata and Suona, the passport that can travel to many lands through this express. The passport was signed by both the National Postal Service Headquarters--the main post office headquarters of all Mail-Hunters and Stardust Express Station--the train station for the Mail-Hunters and their clients as well, with their registered license numbers and national identity numbers. Sonata held the passport and read the content of it. "Now you'll be a Mail-Hunter that can deliver the letters from your clients to their destination in time. There are your name, your licensed registration number as one of us, and your rank among other Mail-Hunters."

Claire explained about every single information that is written there, including the stamping date and signature from both the HQ and Stardust Express. "Your job is delivering letters and packages to your clients as fast as you can and in order to do that-traveling by feet after the Stardust Express train drop us to the designated location."

"So, we can travel around with this?"

Sonata asked her, Gabriel nodded when he folded his arms. "Yes, that's the one. You'll be taking orders from several National Express Office Clerks which give you packages to deliver to your clients," he added, folding his arms. "If you want to go back, make sure to get your ticket back first," Gabriel reminded as she nodded again, before Suona whined. "Oh no, I got different train with different ticket! Sonata, I wish you good luck in your journey!" she hugged her and quickly running off towards the direction of her train, leading back to the National Postal Service's HQ.

"Yes, thank you so much, Suona!”

Sonata yelled happily, waving at her as she took her suitcase and headed out of the hall. Gabriel was looking at the pocket watch from his coat before looking at her, lowering the device when he reminded. "Let's get inside, we can't be late--you too," he nodded at her, the three of them went inside for their compartments and the tickets for conductors. Sonata arrived at her compartment which is SN-527 which is her Emissary license number, entering inside the compartment with the card key and placed her two suitcases along her Automotive Gear on the other side.

"Thank goodness I can rest…"

Sonata sat down on the couch with ease, it was something that made her ears lowered a bit when she is tired. One of her wolf ears perked up a little to sense someone's entering the hallway of the compartments, she took a peek from a small peeping hole of her compartment door. "Hmm… new Mail-Hunters are on service," she was tiptoeing since her height is like 160cm like Suona, trying to recognize them before Gabriel approached Claire's compartment--214-which was the compartment her best friend/partner entered--with her card key.

Sonata heard a bell rang outside that the train was preparing to depart today, at the early morning that the Emissaries doing their punch-in. "Mail-Hunter!" she heard the voice shouted from outside, ringing her bell that she stand up into sliding the compartment door open to check the caller. "Yes, what is it?" she asked, her eyes widened as it was someone else outside this train and not an Emissary. "Claire's right, I think it's not too bad for you to please my expectation."

Haruka Ashford or known as Ruka; eighteen-years old conductor explained to her, with her haughty and bored tone through her calm expression. As she has a long and wavy light toffee-colored hair and bangs falling on her eyes messily and swept to the side by gold clip and her hair behind her ear braided back, light fair skin and purple-colored eyes. Wearing a formal main dress consists of dark red collared blouse underneath her bluish-black dress and vest reaching her knees, she also wears a gold ribbon around her collars, with white sleeves, black tights and dark brown knee-length boots. "Wait, you're not a Mail-Hunter…" Sonata spoke, realizing that she wasn't a Mail-Hunter but a Stardust Express Station train crew.

Ruka huffed as she look away, closing her eyes because she was a conductor of this train. "Of course not, because I'm part of the train crew which is a conductor. Now, your ticket please."

Sonata handed the ticket to her and she began to receive it from her for check, eyeing her appearance for a moment before she clipped the ticket. "Sonata Nocturna, what a rare name-where did you come from?" Ruka was being blunt with her question, she was quiet for a moment before she answered. "I… I used to come from Night Blues, but now I lived in Sonnet."

Ruka was unsatisfied and puzzled by her but didn't ask, probably because of her duty as a conductor. "Sonnet huh? In amidst the three cities of Aria, Sonnet and Canon, you don't look like you came from there," she refuse to say any further, due to past memories of what happened that time. "I mean, not all of us has similar features you know…" she stared while folding her arms, still not in her best mood.

"Hmph, alright then… have a safe trip."

Ruka crossed her arms, giving her a haughty expression with bored gaze, the same expression she showed before she left her--making Sonata grumbled when she close the compartment door behind her. "Urgh... what's wrong with her...?" she whispered, did she left a bad impression on her? She hoped not.
