Chapter Four: The Informant

July 17th, 1993. Near the Caucasus Mountains, Southern Russia.

In a field.

Sonata and the squad are wearing dark olive green field uniforms and dark olive green combat helmets.

"We've got to locate our spy," said the squad leader, "Time is of an issue and not a luxury we don't have."

Sonata and them moved and for some reason, Sonata thought they would've run into Soviet soldiers by now even though they were deployed by a stealth bomber so their C-181s wouldn't get picked up by Radar.

They continued through the sunset of the Soviet countryside and they soon met up with their contacts who know where their informant is being held at. But the problem is the village they live in is crawling with Soviet soldiers and armored vehicles.

The five-man special forces squad agreed to help due to they would have to go through the village as well even though they could go around but they would have to cut through the village.

They followed the rebels who they'll be aiding in this attack. But Sonata never thought she would've been in a foreign country by now. But she can't predict the future where if she did then she would've abused the lottery system and win millions and taken her mother and all of the Almighty Believers to court for running her childhood and teenhood.

Going to get my revenge on them, Sonata thought, That pastor and members of that religion are sickos! I mean the pastor who was in his fifties when I was seven when he put his hand up my skirt to my woman area! Going to chop off his dick and force-feed it to him.

Sonata went on with the mission but she had a suppressed scoped Semi-Automat Service Garand which is a Rifle, 7.62mm, Sniper M21.

Sonata stayed above the battlefield with the rest of the squad she was in and they moved on after a while only to have Sonata doing the same for a while until they had to go down into the village.

In the village.

The fighting was tough and they continued to push on and on until they made it to a manner style house where they stormed it surprisingly it wasn't defended and found their informant who was badly tortured but he didn't give up any information.

The squad leader then called for extraction only to learn that it was delayed by half an hour and they had to wait. But the informant was badly injured and needed immediate medical aid where his injuries are outside of their expertise, and they need to bring him to a specialized doctor like a trauma surgeon.

Fifty-seven minutes later.

The UH-81 "Stealth Hawk" came where they all got on and Sonata used up her small medkit and did her best to patch up the informant. And the informant told them that the KGB and all that did their best to make him squeal like a pig but he didn't say anything and didn't give out his co-conspirators and all that.

They headed west towards Camp Thermopylae a Little Birden base built in 1944 during the Allied invasion of Germany near Hurtgen Forest and during the Siegfried Line Campaign. Not adding the camp was also a Prisoner of war camp as well due to trucking and shipping pow's would've taken days if not months as well.

During the flight back, Sonata even read about the camp and she was even amazed that during the war that Little Birden MP's would've thrown cigarette packs over the fences for the Prisoners of War even though somewhat she was kind of annoyed that instead of treating them like animals they were treated as normal humans due to the ones they captured mostly were fighting for their home, not ideals.

Sonata then kept reading about the camp don't know what to expect about it due to in the post-World War Two days it had been shared with the German Army and still is shared to this day.

Several hours later.

At Camp Thermopylae.

They dropped the informant off and took a C-181 back home which was a long ride. But Sonata knew the difference between the timezones of UTC +0300, Central European Time, and UTC-11.
