Southeast Asia

July 26th, 1999

Sonata was asleep on an Army cot in a tent.

Someone awakens her.

"It's crank time SOGX!" said a Special Forces soldier

Sonata got out of bed and got her rifle ready.

She noticed some IA Field Agents having some fun and all that.

She and another Special Forces soldier boarded a P-113 helicopter with an M375 Minigun on both sides even mounted to be used by the crew.

"Headset on," said the co-pilot

Sonata was placed on a headset but sat down behind the pilot with an R66 (M40 rifle) sniper rifle with a 10x scope.

Sonata shielded her eyes from the morning sunrise.

Several minutes later

In a village.

The helicopter got shot at and the helicopter dodged a few RPG rockets that were fired at them. The pilot used the helicopter's dual-mounted miniguns and a few 77mm rockets against the guerilla force.

After the landing zone was cleared the helicopter dropped them off where it was just Sonata and the other special forces soldier that awaken her got off.

Sonata fired her sniper rifle at times but switched to her Phoenix Pistol for close-quarters combat.

She and the Special forces soldier continued and they killed anyone with a gun and whoever shot at them was killed.

The duo stormed a building where an enemy militia member jumped out but Sonata disarmed him and stabbed him in the throat with her M3 Fighting knife, But she went on her way with her pistol and her knife out.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

There was a steel door that Sonata opened she opened where she got attacked by someone but she easily killed him and the other guy in quick succession.

"Chalk 1-3 this is Sierra Oscar Golf X-ray," said Sonata, "We have the package and ready for pickup at LZ Bravo. ETA Three Minutes!"

Chalk 1-3 replied, "Roger. You'd better hurry it up. Enemy reinforcements are inbound! They got about twenty-one T-55s, thirty BMP-1s, ten BMP-2s, and a few BTR-60s. Also includes about a couple of hundred-foot mobiles and mechanized infantry! Y'all got a couple of minutes before they're right on top of y'all! Chalk 1-3 out!"

The two got out of there as fast as they could but enemy reinforcements sealed off all ground possibilities of exits. But their helicopter came and they got on.

"Just squeeze the trigger and he's dead," whispered Sonata before the sniper rifle fired.

They flew somewhere else to get another thing. But there was a problem and that was the place was under siege. They're under constant mortar, and artillery. and rocket artillery fire of them getting hit by 1300 shells per day and they been there for four days.

It was something secret they were given and the helicopter lifted off with two more P-113's to try and confuse the enemy of which one the package it was in.

A Rocket Propelled Grenade was seen being fired at the helicopter on the right and the RPG hits the helicopter and it loses control and rams the P-113 on the right.

The helicopter hits the one their in and their helicopter starts to spin out of control but Sonata and the Special Forces soldier she's with tried to help the crew chief of the helicopter but he got sucked out and fell to his death.

Their helicopter crashed.

"You ok?" asked Sonata

SFG soldier replied, "Yeah I"

There was gunfire and Sonata fired her Phoenix pistol at charging guerilla fighters she then used an M3 fighting knife to cut off her seatbelt but she fell due to their upside down.

Sonata got out and picked up her sniper rifle but she threw a red smoke grenade.

Sonata wasn't really picky about targets but she aimed down the scope, fired, cycled the bolt, and rinse and repeated.

It wasn't long until they heard the sounds of jets flying over and they came back dropping bombs only to reveal their not conventional bombs but actually napalm bombs.

"So you and Sergeant Major Owen," said an unknown male voice, "Got the secret thing and got out of there but you'd got shot down. What happened next,"

Sonata replied, "We got picked up by a P-117 and flown back to the secret IA Base. But I walked around for a bit wondering if I should continue my career in the Little Bird Armed Forces or if should I leave after my third tour of duty is up, get a job, and maybe should I get my eggs fertilized one day to have children. But we'd had to go back out,"

Back at the IA Secret Base.

Sonata walked around just thinking about what she should do after her third tour of duty is up. But she has been thinking about leaving the military to have a civilian life and maybe start a family with her lesbian partner.

Sonata doesn't know yet but she's only in her Twenty Three but she doesn't know yet but she wants to find a civilian career that'll cater to work-family life.

Seargent Major Owen heard Sonata talking to herself and offered to help and he even pulled the "every girl wants a bad boy" card but Sonata told him no more than once.

She even told him more than once she doesn't want a guy who acts tough, and she doesn't want a jackass nor a sexist, misogynistic, or patriarchal prick. Sgt Major Owen acts like a bad boy, but he is a sexist, misogynistic, patriarchal jackass.

He threatens to have her kicked out of the Little Bird Special Forces, the Little Bird Armed Forces, and have her blacklisted because he has friends in high places.

Sonata didn't care about his friends in high places. To Sonata he was just another jackass who wants to get his dick wet and to her, he's the definition of self-preservation.

The two then went on a short walk around the perimeter of the base.

Sergeant Major Owen got some distance away from Sonata and she aimed down the scope and lined the crosshair at the back of Sgt Mjr Owen's head and there was a loud bang.

Sonata then had the rifle at a 45 degree angle and she cycled the bolt once.

City of Chocolate Little Bird.

Blister Canyon-Little Bird-Lava Falls Defense Force Headquarters.

Sonata didn't tell them about her killing Sergeant Major Owen.

"So Sergeant Jackson," said an unknown male voice, "SgtMjr Owen was killed while on patrol. But we've found a 7.62x51mm round in the back of his skull and a casing only sixty feet behind him. Your sniper rifle is of the same caliber,"

Sonata replied, "Yeah. And how many rifles during the Vietnam war were of the same caliber? How many rifles of the same caliber were captured by the NVA and VC? Hundreds? Thousands? Of rifles in the same caliber,"

Another voice did point out that she's right that the Americans did use hundreds if not thousands of rifles used in that caliber and an unknown amount of rifles in that caliber were captured from them by either the Viet Cong or North Vietnamese Army during the war.

They decided to let Sonata go and decided to investigate further but without a witness, they just put the file into a file cabinet and let her go without charging her with a crime.

On a military firing range.

Sonata was in the prone position just laying on the ground.

"Just squeeze and they're dead!" said Sonata

Sonata then squeezed the trigger and fired the rifle and the bullet hit the bullseye.

Sonata just practiced her sniping skills
