So today is the start of Noah's new job. He started working at the highly sophisticated and highly acclaimed restaurant, Très Chat. An almost but not quite french style restaurant.
Jason was on his way to the restaurant to meet up with Noah. Mostly because Noah being the little jerk he is, wouldn't just give Jason answers on why he kissed him on the cheek, instead he just kept sending clown emojis whenever he'd ask.
While on the way over, Jason was lost in thought. He ended up bumping into liam. Like literally bumped into him, Liam was basically thrown to the floor by the force of the bump.
"Oh shit, sorry!" Jason helped his friend up.
"Hey, what's up, jason?" Liam asked, standing upright. "You know, besides obviously not your IQ."
"I'm on my way to meet up with Noah, at his job." Jason said, ignoring the rude comment Liam made.
"Why?"
"I just need to talk to him."
Liam looked down for a second, then looked Jason straight in the eye.
"Can I come with you?" Liam asked, in a weirdly anxious way.
"Umm, sure I guess." Jason was a little confused why he would want to come with him, but he let him anyway.
They walked to the restaurant. The outside alone looked fancy. They hesitated walking in. The inside was even more blindingly rich. These people had real crystal chandeliers.
The lady at the front smiled at them. She was a tall, thin woman with a skinny face, pale skin, and pale blonde hair. There was something uncanny about her.
"Oh bonjour repas! Hello good sirs, table for two?"
"Yes ma'am." Jason said.
The lady led them to a nice booth. The booth itself had nice red leather, and the table was made from a nice genuine oak wood. She handed them both menus.
"Your waiter will be right out." She said, then walked away.
Jason looked through the menu. There was so much food to choose from. Jason decided to just get something that was cheaper. Fried chicken, and a nice glass of water seemed well in his price range. But Liam didn't have the same idea. He was going to order the lobster. Jason assumed Liam could pay for himself.
While Jason was looking at all the other things on the menu, he felt an arm go around him. "Hey baby, I know you're looking for a stud, I got the S.T.D all I need is you." Now, who could say something that cringe. Noah.

"That's fucking gross Noah." Jason said. Noah just smiled at him.
Noah was dressed in his work uniform, a black shirt and pants, with a white apron around his waist. Jason hadn't noticed how slim Noah was before, mostly because he'd always wear sweaters.
"Salut les perdants. May I get you guys started on some beverages?" Noah said, sounding surprisingly professional.
"You know French?" Jason asked. Noah just shrugged. "Well, can I get the fried chicken, and for a drink umm, water." Jason said.
"Can I get the lobster, and red wine?" Liam said.
"You guys know you're supposed to just order drinks first? like, you have been to restaurants before, right? A la carte, and whatnot. But uh, sure thing, I'll be back out with your drinks." Noah said, then he walked back to the kitchen.
Wait, Noah, I don't think you can sell alcohol to minors. At the very least ask Liam for an I.D. or something so it at least looks like your following alcohol laws.
Jason looked at Liam, he looked a bit annoyed for some reason. Jason decided to ask if he was okay.
"Are you okay?" Jason decided to ask him.
"Hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine." Liam said. But in reality he didn't look fine, he looked angry.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. I said I was fine."
Liam was off today, Jason did know why. To be completely honest. he didn't even have a clue what could make Liam angry.
Noah walked back to their table holding their drinks. He set the water next to Jason, and the red wine next to Liam. So you're just gonna serve him wine? Alright. Cool.
Noah was about to go back to the kitchen, but Jason grabbed his arm.
"Umm, do you think you could take a break so we could talk about something?" He said.
Noah thought for a second.
"Not yet jason." Noah said, winking. "My break is soon though." He gave Jason a pat on the head, and went back to the kitchen.
Jason wanted to be annoyed by this, but he wasn't. He was at least getting some good food first so that makes things better.
"What were you guys going to talk about?" Liam asked.
"Huh? Oh, nothing important really." Jason said. For some reason he didn't really want Liam to know Noah kissed him on the cheek.
"If it's not important, you can tell me right?" Liam said, staring Jason in the eyes.
"Umm, where's the logic in that? Look, it's just something between me and Noah, okay?"
"You're annoying. Now you're having secrets with him too." Liam was obviously a bit mad at this.
"What?" Jason was confused. Liam turned his head away from Jason. Seriously, what's up with Liam? I thought he was the chill one. Actually no, that's Benjamin.
Noah came back from the kitchen holding a tray of food. He put their food on the table, then sat next to Jason.
"This job is hella tiring." Noah said, "but I've only worked here for one day and I already got four raises."
"Wow, that's impressive." Jason was amazed. "Wait, just how much money are you making?"
Noah counted on his hand for a second.
"$140 an hour? Yeah, seems about right. Anyways, how are you guys?"
"We're good. how about you Noah?" Liam said, kinda rushing so that Jason couldn't talk again.
"Oh, I guess I'm fine. This new job pays nicely, so that's good. Also, I should be getting my license in a few months. "
"That's cool! What are you gonna do when you get it?"
"I think I'm going to take you guys on a road trip. It seems like fun."
"A road trip? That'd be nice actually." Jason said, finally being able to speak.
"Yeah. Well anyways, I'll go back to work. See you." Then Noah went back to work.
"Wait, it's been like five minutes? How long is your break?"
"Five minutes."
The boys enjoyed their meals. Jason had never tasted such good fried chicken in his life. It was almost addicting. The water was nice too.
Then the bill came. All together the meal cost $108.87.
"Yo Liam, get your money out. the bill is here." Jason said.
"Oh, I thought you were paying for me." Liam said.
"When did I ever say that?!"
"I just assumed!"
"Why would I pay for your expensive meal?!"
"Well you invited me!"
"No I didn't!"
"Is everything okay over here?" Noah said as he walked over to them.
"Uh, I don't have enough money." Jason said.
Then Noah looked horrified.
"Holy shit, why don't you have enough?!"
"I don't know! Ask Liam!"
Liam stared blankly.
"You don't want to know what happens to people who can't pay!" Noah panicked even more. "get the fuck outta here! quick!"
"We can't just do that! It'll be fine, we'll just wash the dishes for money." Jason started to panic too.
"No, you're gonna have to leave!"
Noah then grabbed them by the arms, and proceeded to push them out of the restaurant. He gave them a rough push out the door.
"And don't come back!" Noah said, locking the door.
They had no idea what the hell just happened. They called it a night, and hurried home. Jason was disappointed though. He didn't get to talk to Noah about what happened.
******
"Noah?" The pale lady looked around the restaurant. Noah appeared from behind a pillar.
"Ah, um hey Ma'am!" Noah was obviously nervous.
"What happened to booth five? Weren't there customers?"
"Uh yeah, they already paid and left."
"Oh. I only let them in because they looked like they couldn't pay. I guess there is no meal for me tonight." She shrugged and walked away
Noah let out a sigh of relief.
