When Sara reached the door, she remembered something. She then looked at Aile and said expressively, "Aile, wait here, I have a surprise for you."
Aile nodded and was curious about Sara's surprise. Sara smiled and left.
Aile then looked around and saw that Sophie was in deep thought.
"What are you thinking about, Sophie?" Aile asked.
Sophie had a complicated expression on her face, she looked at Aile for a few second then said in a wavering tone, "Well, now that I am your maid and you are paying me. I should go with you to Cape Tie, to take care of you."
Aile looked at Sophie and saw the expressions on her face. He understood that she did not want to be left out, and there was even a bit of jealousy towards Sara.
She was only expressive in front of Aile, so he knew her well enough to notice her actual desires just by looking at her face.
He was surprised too, Sophie does not like to meet people or going to an event where there is a lot of people. So he was surprised to see her show initiative to go to such a crowded public event.
Aile was at a dilemma he could not take her to Cape Tie as it would be very unusual for him to bring someone and he was not sure if he could protect her there.
Many people will be attending the princess's birthday, including powerful nobles and practitioners. If a powerful noble or their useless sons have evil thoughts about her, he knows that he would not be able to protect her.
She was exquisite, and she would definitely attract people.
As a second level practitioner, even if he uses all of his power, he would lose against high-level nobles and their guards.
In front of them, even if he uses all of his cards, it would be futile.
He also knows that Duke White would not waste any effort to protect her. He might even use her to forge a connection with those nobles.
At the same time, he did not want to say no to her. He had seen her disappointed face when he allowed Sara to enter the room. To her, it seemed like Aile would not let her disrupt the conversation or be part of it, but Sara could. Aile had picked this up from her expression then, and he did not want her to think along this line because it was false and it would hurt her.
Aile thought that another denial could hurt her confidence, and the friendly nature that she shows in front of him would disappear if he directly rejects.
Aile knew her well enough to know that she was not interested in the birthday, but she wanted to help him.
Aile thought of a plan that could solve his problem. However, it was a little manipulative. He was debating whether to use it.
After pondering for a while, he continued with his plan.
He decided to carry on with the plan because if he takes her there or rejects her, the consequence will be far worst.
Aile replied, "If you want to come with me, you can."
Then, Aile had a face of genuine concern, because if she goes with him, it could really be troublesome. Followed by a pondering expression and he muttered in a low voice, "I guess I can give that job to Fiona."

Sophie saw his face of concern and had expected to be rejected. Her demeanour started to turn cold. However, then she heard him accept. She was surprised.
Then she saw his pondering expression and heard that he needed someone for a job.
She became curious, and she asked, "What is it, and what job are you seeking a person for?"
Aile was happy that his setup worked. Aile knew that Sohpie was more concerned about being useful to Aile then being jealous of Sara or being left out. Thus he used this method to change her mind. He then said, "I needed someone to help me deal with an important matter here. Originally I wanted your help, but now I think I will ask Fiona."
Sophie was happy at this moment because she felt trusted and useful. She wanted to be helpful, and she did not want to disappoint him. She enthusiastically replied, "I do not want to go? What is it that I can help you with?"
Aile was happy to see Sophie enthusiastic and felt awful at his lack of power. If she really wanted to go, he would not be able to protect her. There will be times in the future where the people he cares about will face dangers, and at his current level, all he can do is just watch them and be worthless.
He had given himself a goal to reach the second stage of cultivation to feel less confined. But currently, he felt much more restricted. His determination that had wained a little had come back, and he knew that he needs to train much harder to survive and protect the people he cares about.
Aile then explained to her that she needs to go to another place and pay attention to a room. She just needs to record people that enter it until Aile comes back. He had a plan to evaluate his new staff at Jack's mansion, and he thought he can jumpstart that plan and make Sophie a part of it.
She was curious at her first job and looking forward to it. She had spent a lot of time with Emily and had picked up her habit of enjoying the silence and having a work-oriented nature.
To her going to a birthday party was a terrible idea, she just wanted to spend more time with Aile by going there and be useful to him. However, seeing that she could help Aile and also have a desirable work here, she was happy.
This way, she can also practice her stealth that she has learned to ensure no one can catch her.
She asked about her job, and Aile told her some information.
Her job is to record the name of anyone that enters a room.
He also told her that from tomorrow she will be sent to the location where the room is. It was Jack's old mansion.
Sophie was happy that she now had a job and one that would benefit Aile.
She was excited to start tomorrow and no longer felt jealous of Sara. She did not even care for Sara's surprise, she just wanted to go home and prepare.
Aile saw how much she cared about him. He could not help but go forward and hugged her.
He also wanted to encourage her for her care about his privacy, so he said, "Thank you for guarding the door thoroughly before."
The smile on Sophie's face became broader. She quickly left Aile's embrace.
She was a bit embarrassed, and she quickly said goodbye. She left with little skips of happiness as she walked.
Aile gritted his teeth after Sophie went out of his room. He was so blessed to have people care for him.
He had experienced the loneliness from being orphan from his inherited memories.
Every time he saw Sophie, Sara, Fiona, Diana and Emily, he felt fortunate. Now he understood that all of this could be taken away from him. A whim from a noble or even Duke White could take away everything that he cherishes.
This made him angry for not being better and stronger to fight and protect the people he cares about. He made a vow to seek every opportunity to become stronger.
He soon heard Sara walking towards his room, and he did a quick meditation to control his anger.
He took a few deep breaths and made a mental note that anger will not help. Only when he improves, he can have a piece of mind.
Sara entered and said in a cheery tone, "Look at what I got you."
She took out a beautiful thin overcoat that was black and blue with rich-grey pants.
Aile was surprised.
Sara lightly giggled and said, "We will be going to the princess's birthday. You should look at your best."
Aile noticed her deep care and concern and said: "Thank you!"
The current situation in front of him was what he did not want to lose.
Sara smiled back and said: "You are welcome."
"Now you have to wear it, I want to see how you look."
Aile knew that there is no way to reject her, so he nodded. He then gestured her to leave the room so that he could change.
She just turned her back on him and said, "Hurry up!"
Aile was never concern about his looks, his goals were only related to strength. He could not afford to waste time thinking about any other thing. He was actually looking forward to this luxury new experience of trying different clothes.
Aile quickly changed, and he looked much better. He looked noble and stylish with his new clothes. His beautiful looks were also amplified. Aile had looked at himself and had a smile plastered on his face. He then said with a smile, "You can turn around now."
