Aile knew that Anna required some clear answer and something to strive for. So he thought of the top qualities of his women that made him love them. He answered, "Self-reliant, trustworthy, kind, caring, aware of circumstances, understanding..." "As long as someone has a majority of these traits, I think that will be enough. And also a soft body and someone who asks me hard questions." She blushed once again and gave him a kiss, knowing that at least the last two were things she had and he enjoyed.

She looked at Aile apologetically as she disconnected her lips from his and asked, "Who is it?"
"Miss Anna, the town's magistrate, has arrived wanting to talk with someone. But Miss Fiona and the others are nowhere to be found. Can you inform them?"
"Ok, I will deal with it!"
Once the messenger was gone, she looked at Aile and said, "Let's go, Sara told us to deal with anything that pops up until they are done discussing."
Aile nodded and kissed her one more time, seeing her annoyed face that their time alone was interrupted. "We will have more opportunities later." Aile was happy with any new development.
He was, in fact, forcing himself to be busy recently. Because he was stuck in a dilemma. If he was left alone and starts thinking, he would think about going to Port Kiar immediately as he searches for a solution for Sara and Hazel's soul.
The problems there were also heating up, as Marquis Andrew was overstepping his boundary. But every time Aile was contemplating returning, he gets a strong sense that he has to stay here. It was a feeling similar to when his eyes of fate get activated, and he knew that the fate law was telling him to stay here. Therefore, he wanted to be busy all the time, to stop thinking of the things that could happen there in his absence. The messenger would arrive tomorrow, giving him news of Port Kiar and Hazel.
He was also worried that something could happen here from his sense. The warning from the old lady was also ringing in the back of his head, so he was concerned.
Although her warning was for yesterday, those were just some minor events. Knowing that the magistrate has arrived made Aile realize that perhaps this could be something big. He was also interested to figure out what was going on. Aile and Anna left towards the meeting room that Aile was at yesterday.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Aile and Anna entered the room, and Aile saw Princess Alice. Aile forgot to greet her and was observing her. She was a more mature version of the girl he saw in Cape Tie. However, soon he saw some anomalies that princess Alice did not have and would make her different. The most obvious being that she was more tanned.
Although she was just as beautiful as Princess Alice, she was clearly a different person. Aile got his bearing and greeted her. She also recognized his identifying gaze and accepted his greeting.
She then looked at Aile, "Have we met before?"
Aile shook his head and said, "No, I would have definitely remembered if we met."
His comment was enough to make her blush and change the topic.
She then changed the topic and asked Anna, "Can you call Fiona, I have something to discuss with her."
Anna had a more imperious presence compared to before. "I am sorry. They are busy with something important right now and has asked me to deal with everything in their stead. Could you tell me why you are here? If I can not solve it, I would have to disturb them for you. But if it can be avoided that would be for the best. Once Miss Fiona is done, she could also visit you if it is not urgent."
Aile was surprised at her change of behaviour and even more so at her response. It seems she can be diplomatic too. Anna just chooses to not be in front of him. Aile was also a bit annoyed at himself for not wearing a disguise or a mask. He was not expecting to be seen here. Even worst, by royalty. She was clearly related to princess Alice. If she gave his information to her or someone else, it would not be ideal.
Who would think that a royal would be the magistrate of a town in White Clan's territory? One that resembled the princess, this was just bad luck. But he was last seen over 7 years ago in public, so he should not be recognizable by someone he had not seen face to face.
He even wondered why he was not warned by Sara. But he was also aware that Sara does not like to be part of any meeting with nobles or royalty, and he would not be surprised if Sara never met her. Sara has developed a hatred for the nobles as she understood a bit about Hazel's past.
Her hatred for royalty stemmed from the king, forcing her to get married at the princess's birthday. So she avoided them as much as possible, and she had grudges against them.
Therefore, even in the hall, she played with the nobles to make their evil nature surface and show it to everyone. Since she could guess that the problem between her and Hazel also streamed from one of these groups, she wanted to do more if not for Sophie there.
So while talking to Sophie and the others and from previous news he had received, Aile confirmed her hatred was burning for these groups. He would not be surprised that, if in the future, she destroys the nobility and royalty. Aile tried to curb her hatred, not because Aile cared about royalty or the nobles but because he did not want her to lose herself.
After yesterday, he noticed a change in her. He was sure that it would not change Sara's opinion on the royals and nobles, and she would take opportunities to make their life harder. But since yesterday, she was more focused on Aile and her relationship with him. She was seeking happiness with him. So at least her goal has changed, as one of Aile's worries was solved to an extent. Although it was too early to claim that she had been coaxed, Aile was hopeful, and his heart was telling him that she had another goal now.
