After a while the two of them where in a street somewhere in the city.
Alexis looked around the street they were in, its a place that was dim even though the sun was shining brightly on the blue sky and there are also barely any people walking the trash-filled streets. Those that are walking looked at the two of them with a dark glint in there eyes but when they saw Kyrille's rapier they lowered there head and started to walk again.
“Where are we?”
“I don't know.” Kyrille answered.
Alexis looked at her in confusion and asked once more, “I thought you know where the marketplace is?”
“Who said I know?” She gave him a serious face.
“But you said you're going out?”
“Yes I am going out but I don't know where, now here we are in our destination.” Kyrille kept her expressionless face hiding her embarrassment.
Alexis didn't chide her for it instead decided to change subject.
“So where are we going now?”
She pretended she was thinking something before she pointed towards some direction, “There."
He followed her choice only for the both of them to end up in a much darker area. Kyrille hurriedly turned towards another direction and walked until they arrived at an intersection, she then again pretended to think before choosing the left one, which was where housed close to each other are, it was a neighborhood.
They then passed that row of houses and turned right, finally they arrived!
It was a bustling street filled with stores on both sides of the street, and some vendors who had their mantle laid out on the ground or had their own stalls as they show the shoppers their different wares, ranging from seasonal vegetables and fruits to weapons and colorful accessories.
“Finally!”
Lance cheered even if he was exhausted after that long walk.
“You ought to strengthen your body more.” Kyrille said as she continued to walk leaving him to catch his breath.
Alexis forced his body to follow her lead, the two then traversed the crowded market.
“So what would you buy?”
Instead of answering him she asked back, “What about you?”
“Hmm, I want to buy clothes, shoes and a new robe.”
“Then let's go there.”
She suddenly held his wrist and pulled him towards a shop that has symbol of a clothes for both men and women hanging in front of the door.
Kyrille then unhesitatingly opened the door of the shop she choose, however when it opened her eyes widened in surprise before her brows turn into a scowl.
In her memory a clothing shop supposed to have gorgeous dresses worn by human-shaped wooden stands displayed inside the shop, also once they opened the door a lady would welcome them before she will led them to the back where the colorful cloths that had yet to be sewn are gathered. The seamstress then would show them her workshop before taking her measurement.
The difference was too big, her experience was like was tall as heavens compared to these shop, the door of this store she opened has displays too but all the clothes have mostly the same colors; white, brown, grey or black; the place was lit perfectly but due to the items displayed it made the place look bleak.
“What's wrong?” Alexis asked when she saw her stopped at the entrance.
Kyrille shook her head before her natural cold expression returned back to normal.
“Nothing.”

“Alright.”
Alexis passed her and entered the shop, he was surprised too not due to disappointment but because its different from the clothing shop from his hometown that his mother brought him once.
Unlike the scarce shop where there was only brown tunic and loose pants this store itself was luxurious in his bumpkin eyes.
He scrolled around the place and look at almost all the clothes displayed inside, when he cautiously touched them he could feel the softness of the cloth, it tempted him to bury his face in it.
“Hurry up and choose!” Kyrille's annoyed voice bring him back to his senses.
He hurriedly picked two look a like shirts just with different colors and showed it to her.
“What's better, brown or white?”
When she heard that, Kyrille couldn't help but look at him like he was an idiot.
“Look at your body and see if any of them looks good on you, tsk!” she clicked her tongue in annoyance.
Seeing her unladylike action and her face that had a word irritated plainly written in it, Alexis immediately bought a black robe, a white shirt, brown trouser, and an underwear.
When he finished paying at the counter where an apathetic man sat, he saw her return to calmness making him sigh in relief, secretly.
“I already bought what I want, what about you?”
“I don't know.”
“What? Aren't you the one who brought me because you want to buy something.” Alexis look at her in bafflement.
Kyrille brushed her waist length hair as she shyly said, “I want to buy clothes too but its different from what I thought.”
“How it is different? There are clothes that would look good to you here.” Alexis uttered seriously.
When she heard what he just said, she suddenly turned her head to looked at him in the eye and asked, “Where!?”
He was surprise by her sudden eagerness only for a moment before he showed her a faint smile.
“Come here.”
Alexis grabbed her wrist and pulled her back inside the store, like how she did to him, and led her to the unlit corner where the dress he saw hides.
The dress was simple but has a lot of frilly designs in the cuffs and hems, it's main color was of black and the secondary color of white, the dress gave a melancholic feeling to it.
“I thought this would look good on you when paired with your silver hair.”
Enthralled by the dress Kyrille couldn't help but put her hand on it, this dress looked bland compared to the colorful dresses she once worn, but she liked it more after she heard his compliment(?).
Her face was starting to redden and to hide it from him she took the dress with her and run towards the space where she could change.
Alexis followed her but was stopped by the entrance of the changing room.
“Why?”
“Why? Of course because I am going to change! Wait there.”
“A-Alright.”
Alexis turned his back and stood there like what she ordered him to.
The rustling sound on the other side of the curtain made him imagine things that made him turn red in embarrassment but due to his current condition it was just an illusion inside his head.
It took only a couple of breaths but for Alexis he felt that a day almost passed before the curtain parted showing Kyrille on her new dress.
Even with his blurry vision, Alexis could still see that the dress she was currently wearing perfectly suited her that without even knowing how she looks like, he gave her a compliment using the word that his father always told his mother…
“Beautiful.”
Kyrille stiffened and both of them stayed silent making the place awkward, that's when a footsteps coming from behind them sounded breaking those precious silence into pieces.
The first thing the lady, who was the owner of those steps saw were Alexis’ bandage body, she was surprised but when she glanced at Kyrille in her new clothes she was once again surprised but for the better, it was because how the dress fit her perfectly.
“Miss do you want to try more of the clothes I made?” she asked.
Kyrille turned her head to glanced at the woman who seemed to be the seamstress of this store.
“No.” she coldly uttered that even Alexis felt chills.
However Kyrille's cold face didn't snuffed the flames of passion in eyes of the seamstress as she held her hands closed and put her face close to uncomfortable towards hers.
“Don’t say that! There are other designs like that which I was experimenting and it would really look good on you!”
Kyrille was about to pull her hands back, but when she heard than she looked down at her new dress before she turned her head at Alexis who was enjoying the show.
She hesitated before she looked at the passionate woman in front her and said, “…Alright but I'll pick on what to wear myself.”
“Oh! Then come here!”
The seamstress smile widened as she hurriedly pulled her. They then passed the counter and climbed up the second floor.
In the end, Kyrille was offered tons of clothes with different styles all of which gave her variety of ambiance and mood, leaving the two feasting on a wonderful sights that would surely be kept in their memories.
It was not until she promised to go back at the store again that they were released from the seamstress’ bindings.
“Sigh...that woman was a little scary.” Kyrille complained as she glanced one last time towards the seamstress that is waving at them from outside the door of her shop.
Alexis scratched his head and looked at his side where Kyrille was, wearing the black and white dress he picked for her. He honestly thought that she was not he was even thankful to that woman, however what his mouth said was different.
“Yes…she is.”
Clang!~ Clang!~ Clang!~
The sound of bell resounded throughout the city telling its inhabitant that the noon came as usual. When the tolling stopped the two of them then met each other's gaze.
“Are we going back?”
Kyrille shook her head, “There's no need as we are already late for that, instead let's go there next!”
She pointed towards a distant shop across the street before running towards it, taking his hand together with her.
Alexis smiled and let her lead him to wherever she wanted to go, as he too started to enjoy the time with her.
”Alright!”
