Sam sit with Judy and they talked a while till her phone rang.
Answering it hurriedly she heard Brittney's voice:
"Hey, where are you? You should have been here ages ago, so where are you?" Brittney's voice had a hint of anger and suspicion.
"I... I'm coming, it's just that my coworker was late, I... I'll be there soon..."
Seeing Sam like that, with a forced smile on her face and holding the phone with a strong grip, Judy felt that she was going to explode, she couldn't accept how Sam was acting because of Brittney, and she never hated someone she hadn't even met yet, as she did to Brittney.
After Sam finally put the phone away from her ear, she couldn't look at Judy straight in the eyes, she just stood there holding it in her hand, she stood there in an awkward silence not knowing what to do.
"Emm... You have to go?" Judy didn't want to see her like that any more sort she asked in a normal tone as if nothing was wrong.
"Oh...? Yes, I'm pretty late... I'll come tomorrow if you're still ill and I have time..." Sam answered with a smile.
"Will be waiting for you..."
Sam then walked towards her and gave her a hug, one which Judy accepted gladly, after that she said goodbye and left.
Judy's illness continued for another three days, and during each one of them, Sam would come and spend a bit of time with her, she never stayed as much as she did on the first day, but she always came and spent some time with her, and they would always hug before she left.
Finally, on the fourth day, Judy returned to work, Sam was happy that day, and she was way more energetic than a few days before, there was a smile on her face for most of the day, and looking at Judy made that smile even brighter.
Judy too was in a great mood, in the days when she was ill, those few minutes with Sam was the moments she looked up to the most, and then being able to return to work where she can see her for most of the day and not just a few moments was fantastic.
What's more, it seemed as if something changed in Sam after meeting those days, she seemed less guarded around her, she really started acting like a friend around her.

They would even chit-chat about whatever came to their minds when they have time, even though it was just talking about some boring subjects, for Judy those were some of the best moments of her whole day.
Two days after Judy returned to work.
Sam was waiting for Judy to finish changing so they leave the shop together, they had already finished their shift and both Alex and Robin had arrived.
They had started leaving the shop together since the first day Judy returned to work, they would just talk while walking, till one of them gets a taxi and they separate.
While waiting, she heard the shop's door being pushed open, turning her head, the blood drained from her face.
Standing at the door was a beautiful young woman with a breathtaking smile and a gentle face.
When the woman's eyes fell on Sam, her smile became even brighter.
Alex, thinking that it was a customer went to greet her, but even before she could say anything, the woman said:
"Hey Sam, surprise!" Her voice was comfortable and had a hint of mischief as if she was giving Sam a big surprise.
Everyone in the shop turned to look at Sam, who had a pale face and a frozen expression.
But as soon as she realized that everyone was looking at her, she returned to her senses, and put on a happy smile as she said:
"O- Of course I'm, why didn't you tell me that you were coming..."
"Idiot, if I did it wouldn't be a surprise would it?" The young woman said with a happy laugh.
"Sam, who's this pretty girl? Is she a friend?" The manager asked with an interested expression.
"Em... She's..." Before Sam could finish the young woman interrupted her:
"My name is Brittney, I'm Sam's girlfriend." While saying that she took a few steps towards Sam.
Her words surprised everyone there, they all looked at them as Brittney held Sam and brought her for a hug.
They were surprised but that's all, Sam being gay didn't make them feel anything else, they had all worked together for a long while and they knew what kind of person Sam was, knowing that she was gay didn't affect their opinions of her at all.
Just as Sam was still held by Brittney the staffroom door was pushed open, and Judy came out of it while saying:
"Sam, I'm ready, let's go..." Her last word trailed off as she saw Sam in the arms of an unfamiliar young woman.
Brittney's expression changed a bit when she heard Judy's words, but it soon returned to normal.
"Hey, Sam who's this? She so pretty." She asked.
"Sh- She's Judy, my shiftmate," Sam answered.
"Oh so that's it, you never told me that you have such a beautiful shiftmate, hehe, I'm almost jealous," Brittney said and then she released Sam and took a few steps towards Judy.
Once she reached her she extended her hand to shake her's.
"Hey Judy, I'm Sam's girlfriend, nice to meet you."
Judy lifted her hand and caught Brittney's, and shook it lightly, all that while looking at the grill in front of her.
She didn't look or act anything like how she expected her to, she was pretty, acted in a lively cheerful manner, and was so lovely.
After releasing her hand, Brittney smiled brightly and asked:
"So, where were you too going? Hope I'm not interrupting anything, hehe..."
