Kiss...

"Hey, Sam what are you having for lunch?" Judy asked while standing next to Sam behind the counter.

The distance between them couldn't be considered that close but for Sam who became conscious about her behaviour with Judy and had already prepared herself to cut all contact with her, she couldn't calm down and found the distance way too close.

Judy on the other hand seemed as if she was on cloud nine, she had been smiling and sneaking glances at Sam non-stop as if she still couldn't believe that she was in the same shift with Sam and that they were going to be spending so much time together from then on.

"Emm, I usually just get something from the fast-food restaurant nearby and eat it in the staffroom," Sam answered after staying silent for a while.

"Fast food can be bad for your body, it's too hard trying to stay in a good shape," Judy Complained while looking down at her body.

Sam turned her head and looked at her, she stole a glance at her shiftmate's body before the latter lifted her head, Sam soon returned to her senses and reminded herself while blushing that she shouldn't do that and she should remember what she thought to herself that morning, even though she was working with Judy now, she still had to control herself and put her relationship with Brittney first.

"Oh, yeah, how's your wound, is it well, does it still hurt you?" Judy seemed to have remembered something as she turned her head and asked in concern.

"It's good, it wasn't much of a big wound anyway, there's no need to worry."

"C- Can I take a look at it?" Judy asked after a short while of silence.

"..Yeah of course." Sam didn't find anything weird with it.

She had already removed the bandage because the wound was small and just after one night it started showing signs of forming scabs.

She lifted her hand trying to show it to Judy, yet what she didn't expect was that Judy would catch it and hold it gently.

She was too surprised to react and she just watched as Judy brought her face closer and gave her wounds a light fast kiss.

Sam's mind blanked out and she felt as if an electric current has passed through her hand and to the rest of her body.

When Judy lifted her head and released Sam's hand there was a faint blush on her cheeks, but she soon calmed herself down and acted as if it was normal, Sam didn't notice that because she was still in shock.

"I remembered that I didn't give you a pain pain go away kiss, hehe..." Chuckled Judy as if it was all just a joke.

"Oh... Emm... Ok..." Sam got frustrated and with red cheeks, she stuttered.

'Damn it, this is harder than I thought.' Sam thought during lunch.

The jewellery shop didn't stop working at lunchtime instead each person would have her lunch in the staffroom while the other took care of the shop, and then they would reverse their positions.

Sam set in the staff room to have her lunch but her thoughts kept on repeating that moment when Judy's lips touched the centre of her hand, she just couldn't stop herself from replaying it and getting lost in the feeling.

She shook her head and concentrated on her lunch, after eating for a bit she again fell in a trance like state, and before she knew it she found herself looking at the centre of her hand.

Staying like that for a bit she finally moved it, bringing it close to her face, just as her lips were almost touching the centre of her palm she heard the sound of footsteps coming closer.

Just like a startled deer, she moved her body before she could even understand what was happening.

Bang!

She brought her hand down on the table so fast and so powerfully that a loud bang was heard, and pain shot to her head.

"Sam what was that, what just happened?" Judy's voice was heard from behind her.

"No- Nothing, what is it did something happen outside." Sam tried to act calm while enduring the pain coming from her hand.

"Oh, nothing, it's just that the manager is keeping watch and told to go and have lunch." She answered while walking towards her.

Seeing her coming closer, Sam hurriedly stood up, cleaned the table and said while leaving the room as if she was running:

"Oh, then... Then have your lunch, I've already finished, I'll go keep watch with the manager."

"... Is there something wrong with her..?" Judy thought before sitting down where Sam set.

And just like that, Judy too started spacing out while thinking about the same thing Sam was thinking about.

Sam on the other hand was having another emotional crises on her own.

'What was I doing..? What was I going to do if Judy didn't come at that moment..?' She knew the answer but was just avoiding it.
