The scents of mustard and ketchup are strong in the air as the contestants begin to dig in. Superman is already 5 dogs in and seems to be taking a comparatively leisurely pace compared to what he can do. Goku is 4 dogs in. Each tray contains 20 dogs and by the time Superman gets to 10, Goku is at 9. Livewire, on commentary, is panicking at this and demands more dogs be brought to the table for Goku. The other contestants begin to slow down and watch the unfolding, unpredicted match of speed. The wide man pulls his tray over to Goku who mumbles out a thanks and takes dogs from both trays and starts to doublefist them.
Superman turns up the speed. He hits 20 and Goku hits 15. He hits 24 and Goku hits 22. Superman was confused by this turn of events and begins to slow down and watch Goku shovel them down two at a time. He hits 35 and Goku stops. "What's the matter? Are you full? You seem super strong, I know you can eat more than that!" A slow smile spreads across Superman's face. "Of course, I... was just shocked that you were keeping up." With that he starts to doublefist hot dogs too. Goku lets him start to catch up and when they are both at 40, he starts tearing into them.
The contest keeps trading who is in the lead, Superman pulls ahead and then suddenly Goku catches up and surpasses him in count. Goku chugs along ahead for but a moment before Superman surpasses HIM. Trays are brought to the two of them. At the 76 mark however, Superman began to show signs of slowing down. His eyes began to droop, and he started to look a little green around the gills. Goku, on the other hand, seemed to be getting stronger and more energized with each hot dog he ate. Superman tried to rally, determined to keep up with his rival. He dug deep, using every ounce of strength he had to swallow another hot dog. But it was no use. Goku had already eaten twice as many hot dogs as him, and was showing no signs of slowing down.

With only a few hot dogs left on the table, Goku paused for a moment, looking over at his opponent with a smile. "Come on, Superman," he said, "you can do it!" Superman looked up at him, a grin returning to his face. With a burst of energy, he picked up his pace, downing hot dogs at an astonishing rate. He managed to catch up to Goku, and even shot past him by a good ten dogs for a moment there but Goku swiftly caught back up. The two were neck and neck as they finished their final hot dogs. The crowd erupted in cheers as the two finished, their plates empty and their faces smeared with mustard and ketchup. It was a close contest, but in the end, Goku emerged victorious with a grand total of 158 hot dogs.
Superman leaned back in his chair after stuffing almost 160 hot dogs into his body, he was at his limit. Goku copied Superman's maneuver showing an intensely distended belly. "Wow! I haven't been this stuff in a while." He looks over at Superman and says "That was a great fight, Superman. I can't wait to actually fight you! Of course, I need to digest some of these hotdogs first." he said with a chuckle. Superman began to frown, "I'm sorry friend, but I don't fight people. This is the closest to a fight a civilian I'll come." Goku began to pout, "Aww, come on Superman! I fight with the God of Destruction all... the t-t-time..." Goku began to shake and convulse, his eyes rolling into the back of his head, and passed out.
