Professor Hart quickly released Dr. Fett and bounded over to Goku. "How are you feeling? Any nausea, dizziness?" Goku closed his eyes for a moment. "No... just a little tired is all. Where am I?" Superman strode over and stood on the other side of the bed, opposite the Professor. "You're in a Star Labs facility. You collapsed after you beat me in the eating contest." He placed a hand on Goku's shoulder. "You gave us quite a scare. You were out of sync with the universe. If we hadn't gotten to you when we did, you would not have survived." Goku just chuckles. "I had a rough time with some kind of heart disease too. It's always the stuff you can't fight that gets ya." He grunts and sits up in the bed. "Soon as I eat a senzu bean, I'll be back in fighting shape in no time."
"Hogwash!" comes a shout from Dr. Fett. "You were barely alive before you got here yesterday! You need to rest!!" Everyone in the room was startled by the loud proclamation and they all turned to stare at him. Goku just laughed it off. "Just watch. I'll be up and at 'em in ten seconds flat." He reached into one of his arm bands and pulled out a small green bean. He popped it into his mouth and crunched down on it and swallowed loud enough for everyone to hear. With a burst of air, all of the medical and scientific equipment ripped free from him. He leapt from the bed and struck a pose. "See? All better." Dr. Fett and Professor Hart looked at each other, then at Goku, then back at each other before they started shouting questions at him. "-that bean?!" "my equi-" "medical impo-" "get readings li-" Goku wilted under the barrage and slowly backed up to the bed with his hands up to try and ward the scientists away. "Uh... I... Help?" Goku looked pleadingly at Superman at being totally overwhelmed by the two.
Superman was suddenly behind the two and gently rested a hand on the tense shoulders of those hollering at the alien warrior. He was rewarded by a jolt from the two as they were so focused on what Goku had just demonstrated that they had forgotten themselves. Dr. Fett ran a hand through his greasy hair while Professor Hart smoothed her pink lab coat out. "Sorry for getting so excited at you there, Goku. I just didn't expect to see any of that... jumpy-flippy stuff..." Dr. Fett grumbled out. Meanwhile the Professor let out a huff. "That is some very delicate equipment you may have broken there. But I suppose the more important thing is how you feel. How DO you feel?" Goku did some light stretches and rolled his neck. "I definitely feel better, but... Something does feel a bit off." With that, he began to float almost a foot off the ground to the shock of everyone in the room. "Yeah... My Ki feels a little weird. Think you can do anything about that?" Dr. Fett let out a gruff laugh. "Ki? That's nonscientific nonsense. You'll have to go somewhere else for that spiritual crap." Superman stepped from behind the humans and approached Goku. "I have a few friends that may be able to assist. Can you do more than fly?"

Goku's face lit up. "Oh yeah! I can fly, shoot energy beams, read minds, instantly teleport to someone, transform into a Super Saiyan, sense others energy, and lift really really huge weights!" Superman is taken aback by this wide range of abilities that he listed but then he then internally compared it to his own and can't help but see the ridiculousness of both their power sets. "That really rather runs the gamut, doesn't it? If you are feeling up to it, we can visit your friend on the Satellite." Goku lightly touches back down on the ground. "Vegeta already met you? Haha, makes sense. He's really no-nonsense. I'm ready to fly wherever, though I might be a little slower than normal until I can figure what is up with my ki." Superman shakes his head and touches a button on his belt, and with that, the pair are gone in a flash of light.
