Damn, I might have only gotten a couple of levels in my Subspecies and relatively low Skill level ups, but fighting in a completely new manner compared to how I have been up until now led to me acquiring a lot of new Skills to add into my arsenal. Also, I wasn't one hundred percent certain that [Light Ability] would turn into [Light Affinity] eventually, but now I know that you just need both the Resistance and Ability Skills relating to the Category they are for to acquire an Affinity Skill which will be very helpful for me to know down the line. Unfortunately I didn't get any message about increasing my Tier or anything, which I was kind of hoping to happen at Level 20 since that is apparently the max Level for [Light Of Justice] until I get to the second Tier, but it's not the end of the world. I can just keep on Leveling and I will get there eventually.

One thing that I was expecting to happen did go as I predicted, that being the acquiring of a Skill for {Temiskyr Imp} at Level 20, since all the other Leveling related skills came every five Levels. Though, the Skill I got sounds kinda weird, but I guess I won't know how useful it actually is until I check out its description, along with all the other many Skills I acquired in this battle. Before I do that, I should probably start butchering or harvesting or whatever it's called to the Moss Wolves, even if I don't really have the slightest of clues on how to do that. Unsure of what else I'm supposed to do, I start first by attempting to cut off the green fur of the wolves after I drag them all in front of the cabin, lined up one after the other. As I work on the task of deskinning the animals, I read about my new Skills on the partially transparent windows that appear for anything System related.

[Subliminal Pheromones]:

The user secretes a nigh undetectable scent that makes it easier for the user to affect the mental states of those who absorb the pheromones. Prolonged exposure increases the effect, and may even bypass immunities if given enough time. This is a Skill under the (Enchantment) Category.

While it does have a weird name, the effect is actually really good. I still only have one Enchantment related Skill that could possibly be useful for combat, but passively reducing others’ resistance to any of my Enchantment Skills I have now or will gain in the future is still a massive boon in any case. It does specify that it makes it easier for me specifically to affect the mental state, which I'm unsure is a pro or con of the Skill, but I’ll just say it's a good thing for now since I don't even know anyone who could benefit from an effect like this in the first place. In fact, I don't know anyone, period. Deciding to not dwell on that thought for the moment, I move on to the next Skill.

[Analysis Resistance]:

Reduces the amount of information others gain by Skills and Spells related to analyzing the user.

Wait, what? Does this mean that the Moss Wolves used a Skill similar to [Eyes Of Aspirations] on me? Thinking back, I did get a tingling sensation near the start of the battle when all four of the wolves gazed directly at me after I did some analysis of my own. On that note, the feeling was similar to, if much weaker, than the chilling sensation that ran from the top of my spine to the end of my tail’s stump when the Rusalka faced me, so maybe that feeling is what it feels like for someone to analyze me? Well, I'm glad I now have a Skill that will make that harder for others to do so in the future. Someone could get an advantage against me if they acquire some less-than-favorable information from me, like I could've if I bothered to think for a moment that maybe something called a {Sunlight Moss Wolf} might not take too much damage from a Skill with “Light” in its name.

Lets just bury that idiotic memory into the deep recesses of my mind.

[Light Affinity]:

Gives the user increased resistance to and ability with (Light) Skills and Spells.

That one is self-explanatory, on to the next!

[Versatile Tail]:

Improves how precisely the user can control their tail, as well as increasing its overall durability and flexibility.

I never really had issues in regard to controlling my tail, in fact the opposite. Since I came to this world, it has been eerily easy for me to make my tail do what I want it to, even if I've only had the appendage for slightly more than a day. That could be due to how Dexterity has been tied with Mana Control for my highest stats since about Level 5, and Dexterity is what determines how well I can control my body. The other two effects are more intriguing to me, the durability increase will be very much welcome, and I'd love to see just how much more flexible my noodly tail can get.

[Axe Handling]:

Gives the user slightly improved combat ability while wielding an axe.

This one makes me a little conflicted on how I feel about it. On one hand, there is no downside to having another Skill, and one that improves my ability to fight to boot. On the other hand, [Brawling] does pretty much the same thing except when I use my body instead of an axe, but is much higher in Level and also compliments my tail that has yet another Skill that makes it more useful. Yes, the axe cut deeper than my tail did, but I bet that difference might lessen once I'm fully healed and my pointy, spade-shaped tail tip is back. The rounded stump managed to cut the throat of one of the wolves as if it were a blade, so I can only imagine how much better something resembling the tip of a spear might be able to cut into something with [Power Slash], even if it's the same leathery material as the rest of my tail. Overall, I’ll probably keep using both since there doesn't seem to be any disadvantage in doing so at the moment.

During the time I spent checking out my new Skills, I managed to skin two of the wolves, which was honestly faster than I thought I would be able to. Granted, the pelts aren't exactly in pristine condition, but my Dexterity must be carrying my hands through this task much quicker than I should be able to with an axe instead of a knife.

Damn, just remembered those kitchen knives I found are still in the inn. Would've been really useful right about now.

Unable to change what has already been done, I mope just a little bit while working on the third and fourth wolves. It takes me just a few minutes to remove the pelts from the other two, and now I'm standing here looking at four mounds of orangish brown flesh. While looking a little unappetizing, my stomach still grumbles in anticipation at the sight, and in fact the smell coming off of the raw flesh is like nothing I've experienced before. It smells as if someone was cooking a steak with a perfect blend of aromatic spices, and before I fully realize what I am doing, I cut off a piece of flesh and stick it in my mouth raw. I devour the small chunk of meat in moments, bliss emitting from my tastebuds. I'm not sure if it's the wolves’ meat in particular, or if my body has a proclivity to raw meat, but I couldn't care less at the moment as I keep on cutting off chunks of the delicious meal before me to devour.

Ohhhhhhhh, it tastes sooooooooo gooooooooood.

I spend the next few minutes just consuming one of the wolf’s bloodied flesh, and before I realize it, I've managed to eat almost all the meat from the corpse, with only bits and pieces stuck to bones remaining. If my stomach wasn't so full after the first one, I probably wouldn't have minded eating all four right here and now, it was that delicious to me. I'm not even saying this because I haven't eaten good food before, since cooking was one of the things I was allowed to do in my free time at the brothel on Earth, I have eaten some pretty good stuff before. It’s as if the entire wolf was cooked to perfection, and seasoned with spices specifically picked for my taste in mind. I don't know how else to explain how oddly delicious the meat was to me.

Wiping my hand against my mouth, I realize that it's absolutely covered in the amber-colored blood of the Moss Wolves, so I head over to the river to rinse off after my unsightly display. I bend down and splash some water on my face to try and get it off, but my shirts and chest piece are a lost cause. Hopefully the amber colored stains won't stick out too much, but there isn't anyone around to care about stuff like that, so I won't either.

After scrubbing at my face for a bit, I look down into the water to make sure nothing is there by checking my reflection, only to realize this is my first time looking at my face since coming to Dharta. Overall, the structure looks the same as my human one from before, the only real differences being the crimson skin, metallic looking bronze hair and thin eyebrows, pitch black lips to match my nails and tail in hue, and the golden-bronze eyes that stare back at me. It's an uncanny situation, looking at a face that is most definitely mine, but on a stranger’s body that also happens to be mine at the same time as well. It’s an unnerving feeling to have, but as I keep staring at my reflection in the clear water, the feeling lessens quickly as I get used to looking at my new appearance. I mean, I still look like me, just with skin much more red than before.

Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I return my attention to the other three bodies with meat remaining on them, just now realizing I have no clue where or how to store them. I honestly wish that I could, but there really isn't much that I can do, so I drag the three pelt-less bodies over to the trees, and set them down at the forest’s edge. If something comes and eats them, then so be it, but I'll hope that they are still there later on. After all, I still have a dirt path to explore.

Having done all that I could to prepare, luckily filling my belly with sustenance, I started to walk towards the path located on the other end of the clearing from the cabin. I go ahead and check on my full status, just now remembering to put my free points into Endurance, and I try and check up on all my Stats, wishing they were a bit more organized. At that thought, the Skills sort themselves into alphabetical order, and upon seeing that I can change how my Skills are laid out, I mess around a little with various sorting methods, such as highest to lowest Level, or grouping them with similar Skills, but I ultimately decide to go with the alphabetical order sorting, and then give my Stats a full lookover.
