Leroy spent time in seclusion for two weeks. Citing he needed to recover from the dangerous surgery and his cultivation that was affected by it. With the resources he was awarded, it wasn't hard to pass that he broke into the 9th Rank because of it.
Kaitori and Miniori were added to his Family Registry and taken as his little sisters. Much to Leroy's chargin' as Saiori pushed really hard for him to take them in. With his appearance, he also looked older than the two who looked to be older teens but in actuality in their 30s. Cultivation was really weird that way but they were accepted all the same after taking Oaths upon their souls to ensure loyalty of its destruction.
Much more heavy-handed than the Unlimited Sect in having them swear on cultivation bases. But then again, they could just kill them. The same as the few Occupation Groups in this Empire.
He found two people to try the Reconstruction on but waited until after he understood it more. It felt more like an ability of the Flame Vortex than a pill effect when he thought it over. Having done that to himself before it was the most logical sense.
As Leroy went out to go and buy some more items, he was spotted by a few people. Several members of different Occupations who had questions in regard to the Operation. Two weeks was long enough for word to get out and have misguided people to make trouble and make plans.
"Pay up and you will know." Leroy showed him a sheet of paper with all the information pertaining to what happened. "If not, go and find Alchemist Danik for answers."
"He is in closed-door cultivation and cannot be disturbed." A cultivator with the Occupation of an Herbologist said. Looking the paper over he found it more than reasonable and passed over some resources he had plenty of. "How long will it take for me to get it?"
Most would charge exhorbent funds but Leroy needed resources more than anything as funds had to be used and he had to make purchases. Eventually, some would catch sight of that and look more into what he was doing or just ask questions nonstop in what he planned.
This way he earned both and had a few more excuses add that he was trying all sorts of recipes to boost his Cultivation and Occupations up.
"Drop some blood here and you are good to go." Leroy held out a journal with a metal buckled on it. The journal was new so some were confused. "The Inscription pattern on it will keep others from reading it. It will bind to you personally, so now cheating."
"I see." Following the instructions he did so. "This.. is a lot... You even included post Operation notes!"
Those on the fence did so immediately as they traded materials and gold before it was to late. Upset that Leroy made them Bind the journals they received immediately on the spot before handing them over.
A few had plans to share with others after breaking the binding. But Leroy was not that nice and if someone tried to undo the bindings the content would burn away. Of course, if they pay for someone a lot better than Leroy they could do so. Also, they could always transcribe what they saw to make more but the material was vast and would take quite some time to do so.
The whole process took 15 minutes and Leroy made a fortune. The amount of medicinal herbs he received alone was staggering and he received a Transmission Talisman from several of them to keep in touch.
"Haa, Networking is such a fun thing." Smiling while waving them off he continued on his way. "What do you think Spotter, do we go ahead and buy a good meal for ourselves as a treat?"
"Coo." The demon bird shook no.
"Yeah, no reason to waste funds and better to go and pick up stuff to get stronger. Not to mention how much I need for my various Occupations." Leroy made it to a market area with no trouble and waved to people he knew the same as before.
Getting inside and making large orders happy the shopkeep got right to it. Even with the discount, the shop earned some good money. But then lost it when Leroy had put some medicine for sale.
The quality was good and the quantity was good of the excess stuff he made. Considering how he also put them down for use with the journals he just sold, the shop would make some good money soon.
"Give me a moment, I don't want to mess up!" The little shopkeeper went to get his manager. "The rest you make sure to remain busy." Of course, his coworkers didn't need to remind them but this was the slow period.
"I will just look around then." Looking at a few Books for sale, he pulled some out on those he didn't have or read yet. Even picking up some material that he only heard about in passing notes. 'I wonder what they are really for?'
The label read Canine Bits. Looking at it closely he could make out they were a type of teeth. Different shapes and sizes but whole. Not a single crack or chip in the make.

It was added to his shopping cart.
"Leroy," a voice he knew all too well called out to him. He just didn't expect that person to still be around. "you know how hard it is to get ahold of you!"
"No.. because I can get ahold of myself easily." He kept shopping and browsing unbothered. "What could you possibly want?"
"Well, it is really hard since the Formations you have make it really hard to get in without making a big spectacle," Jasmine complained as she looked over what he was working on now. "So what are you up to next Miracle Doctor?"
"Not a miracle doctor and never call me that again." He gave her a very disgusted look at the notion he could create miracles. "I just do different things than other people, it won't be long before others surpass me or have better methods already. I am only in the Qi Refining Realm after all." Climbing up a ladder, he couldn't believe what he found. 'Strawberries and apples on the upper shelf! Why are they up top instead of lower like most produce?'
Looking over the fruits, the only thing about them is that they were rotten and slightly different colors than the ones he knew normally. But the smell was picked up between the rot.
Calling to the other shopkeeper he asked for fresh fruits like these.
"No problem, they aren't bought by many so it can be sold in bulk for cheap."
"Eh, why not?" Leroy slid down the ladder with the decomp fruits. "Good filling foodstuff and good for the body."
"Well, most of the newer students made it to Qi Refining Middle Ranks and no longer want to pollute their bodies with regular food. Supplementing more with low-rank Qi foods and getting away from mortal foods."
"Ridiculous, but each their own. If that's the case, can you ring up everything you have and I will see about purchasing it. No sense in wasting those fruits and vegetables." Leroy shook his head as the so-called Mortal food was food and the body needed it over just Qi itself. "They are not at the Soul Severing Realm where the Soul is separated from the Body and just a Qi Body in which they are no longer normal Humans..."
"That is the most common trend." Jasmine piped in. She herself barely even knew what food tasted like besides Qi Rich meals. "You disagree?"
"Absolutely." Leroy was of course not going to tell her he was interested in the Nascent Soul Realm because of what was there only. Not to mention the idea of separating your Body and Soul to transcend was dumb as hell. 'Body Tempering Cultivators don't do it so I can still keep up with that. But that is for later to really think about anyway.'
"Well, it will take you forever to reach there anyway. That's what they say anyway." Jasmine leaned her back onto the counter trying to show off her frame to him. Of course, it did not work as Leroy only looked at her face. "So, you hear that they are trying to find a wife for you?"
It didn't work on him but a few of the other shoppers drooled at her a little before snapping out of it. She was the Beast Princess after all and they valued their lives more than momentary pleasure.
"Pft, no one had that authority but me. Take that foolishness elsewhere." He scoffed and was happy the worker and manager came over. "Well?"
"The medicine is really potent, we can discuss prices in the back." The Manager was trying to get him from the prying eyes of others and set up some secret deals.
"No need, just do these prices and throw in the "mortal" fruits and vegetables for me. As well as these books will help." Leroy did not want to haggle at all and was not interested in secret deals.
"These prices... are very good! I will get it wrapped up right now!" The Manager could only see gold as he ordered his workers to pack stuff up. The Qi Stones to buy the medicines was worth it as he could sell them exclusively to cultivators. "Get a few of the books from the back and the other no good stuff!"
They got busy with only a few staff workers helping the other customers. Of course, the manager tried to set up exclusive deals with Leroy a few more times but he refused.
At best he only agreed to sell those particular medicines here this week and that after he will sell it anywhere else at the same price. Of course, the man understood as he was about profit and was only somewhat bitter that the other refused to haggle.
Haggling was the most common and students were always hard up to do so. They were young and most were commoners. They knew they were getting screwed a little but they also made sure to get back at shopkeepers later by selling to their competitors information on their prices and what they sold to them.
Once finishing here, Leroy went next door. Doing the same thing as before but the only difference was that Jasmine came with him to see how he handled the different situations. It wasn't a problem until he came to a Smithy Shop. The last shop at the end of the selling hour and one he to visit just to pick up a previous order.

Don't want to-
.
Jasmine watched as Leroy held himself back from killing the shopkeeper with every fiber of his being. The flames coming off his body actually started to burn the floor.
Despite the protective formations there.
"I paid for it so how can you then sell it to him!" Leroy gritted his teeth as he stared at the shopkeeper with growing resentment. "Give me my product or else you will have a very big problem!"
"I understand it is a bit of an issue but, young Lord Chao Mei said he really needed it. He offered more gold and I couldn't just let that pass. If you offer more money, I can try to get it back for you." The Shopkeeper Mudao couldn't help himself. The young Noble also invested in his business and gave him additional benefits with discounts for his shoulders passing through. "Don't worry I am sure someone like you can put in another request and I promise it will come in much faster."
The Cold Metal refined bars were something he put in for it weeks ago. It took that long to get them and done correctly. It took a Blacksmith at Tier 5 too to make them with all the specifications Leroy asked for.
"Hehe.. he hehe.." Leroy started to chuckle a little creepily. He reached out grabbed the shopkeeper and lifted him over the counter. "How about someone like "you" understand that someone like me does not like being fucked with!"
*Crackle!* Thick lighting generated around his back scaring a few of the patrons. Even Jasmine found herself moving back on instinct. A type of coldness was inside the lighting that bounced about.
"Maybe I should just burn this place down!" It was not a question as Leroy really wanted to burn the place down for robbing him. "Think you can steal from me... think you can pull a fast one on me with no issues!?"
Jasmine couldn't help but smile as she thought Leroy was a little dashing and this was just the kind of trouble she liked. But the smile went away when they all witnessed an act of blatant cruelty.
Leroy slammed the man into the ground and with a sharp fingernail, cut a piece of fat out. His feet held the shopkeeper down by the mouth and by the leg. The screams and the wails echoed in the store and onto the street.
