Leroy pushed his body to the limit that night upon returning. Already finding a few books to help supplement his Firelighting Body and what he needed to advance more in general. Mixed with his knowledge as a Plastic Surgeon, a few issues were found out that could not be avoided right now.
It didn't matter if he flushed out the current toxins and junk from his body, it wouldn't stop more from reappearing or his body from developing sm,all traces of it.
The body lacked more than a few levels of nutrition when growing up. Not to mention when he used the Life Bruning Formation to increase his age quickly. It accelerated his age at the state it would have been if he continued to eat and treat his body that time.
It was missing the process of nutritional stimulation. While he did that, he ate vegetables, meat, and consumed a lot of milk with water. No to mention some sweet water while pushing his muscles.
The original body holder Leroy Black Tiger-fire was physically abused as well as mentally and emotionally abused by his family with starvation. Considering some of the things he did to others on the outside, it was enough to come full circle and barely covered the shit he did. Basically, he was a little shit-heel that took it out on the outside making it worse for himself. He was just too arrogant and used his father's standing to its fullest despite the fact he was missing.
Power was needed even more so to deal with them if they came to bother him. No matter how Leroy looked at it, no matter what, he would not and could not afford to entertain the idea of going there to the Dark Tiger-Fire Family.
Unless he could find enough resources around the school and snatch some up before others got them, he would be really taxed to fight back against them if they assisted he belonged to that family.
Through his reading, he did find there were Inscription Patterns that could compare Blood at a deeper levels. Even ones that could compare the Soul and those related to it. The latter he was sure would not give him away but the Blood one would be a problem.
A mental note to study the Blood Refining and Formations he had been doing to check how the blood changed as well.
*Shine!* Core Qi shined in his eyes. Doing handstand pushups while circulating his qi rapidly was showing promising results after making the corrections of purging. Well grinding into nothing with the use of his Core Qi. Especially the Fire Vortex Core Qi proved to be very helpful when taking care of stuff in his body.
It drained quickly into damaged tissue and the cracked bones as they reformed.
Torn muscles devoured the Qi in moments. Less than two hours later, he was completely tapped out of Qi. This time he made sure to work in the back room of his home area. Every pore of his body screamed as toxins were flushed out the moment his body produced them.
"Kuff!" Leroy coughed up some black residue. Every part of his body was pushing out the unwanted and the damage deep inside his bones. Even some weaker bones that broke apart from the Metalic Qi that passed through. "Kuff! Kuff!" A hard cough had broken bone come out of his mouth. His qi had already built new bone. "Huff... huff... just enough food to help push it along. Definitely was smart to get all that milk."
Exhausted, Leroy picked up the bone and moved to the adjacent room. Having shaken off more of the toxins and crap in the room, he would need a bath soon. But that could wait for later.
Having made a very basic improvement to the microscope from the addition of new glass, metal, and reflective surfaces, he placed the bone under it. Flipping the multiple lenses to view further and further for more detail with his strained eyes. Definitely not what he was used to still.
"At least some good news." Leroy muttered. Any trace of his recovered energy was used on his eyes. Pulling the information he had on bones was a little difficult it was the least amount of Surgery he did during Fellowship rotation settling on Plastic Surgery. "Even a small trace of the qi can improve the bones. But if I send it deeper into the bones under the multiple layers it will be a good way to improve my body faster to give me an edge and gain more benefits in Body Cultivation. No signs of cancer at least!"
Pulling away and rubbing his temple, he had a good idea of what better to do now. Just need to pull up the detail more of his knowledge. Remembering the various textbooks was a pain due to new information gained since being here.
Osteoclasts: These are large cells with more than one nucleus. Their job is to break down bones. They release enzymes and acids to dissolve minerals in bone and digest them. This process is called resorption. Osteoclasts help remodel injured bones and create pathways for nerves and blood vessels to travel through.
"With the application of Metalic Qi, I was able to push this along and actually nudge this process along faster." Leroy mumbled to himself. He moved away from the room heading to the bath to soak himself. Picking up a notebook as he wrote the matters out to help for later study. " I need ways to accelerate the process of Osteoblasts. Surely the multiple Demonic Beasts they have will be able to help with that process."
The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Osteoblasts: These are responsible for making new bone and repairing older bone. Osteoblasts produce a protein mixture called osteoid, which is mineralized and becomes bone. They also manufacture hormones, including prostaglandins.
"If I make them richer it would make the process of recovery even better. My knowledge of prostaglandins is extremely limited. Ugh, maybe I should have become something else instead of a Plastic Surgeon." Grumbling, he dipped under the water before resurfacing. "Buah!"
Leroy hoped he could find some books later about different ways to improve the body. So far he found it very lacking for his needs after thinking it all over once more. He definitely was missing the internet at this time.
The day passed by pretty quickly unbothered. Leroy was spending that time on recovering. As well as pushing the boundaries of his cultivation. Circulating with low-level qi proved to be insightful. Small tricks that would need time to mature for later.
.
Late Night into Early Morning-
.
Leroy was in the study reading over some books on meditation since he just couldn't sleep. Strapped to his legs were some weights. He was doing leg curls and flutter kicks to train his lower body.
"Hmm?" A small breeze entered the room. Alerting to the presence of another. "To think the Vice-Principal had strange customs like this." Leroy was not polite considering the man came in unannounced in his room. He didn't get up to greet him either.
"Very perceptive." Old Jin said as he moved in front of Leroy. Not minding his behavior. Chalking it up to the late-night as well as the fact he entered unannounced. "Just came to talk my disciple. As well as see how you were doing."
Old Jin looked at what he was doing and took note of the pool of sweat, as well as the dried sweat stains underneath him. The hard work displayed right now was way more than what he thought the young man was capable of.
As well as the reports suggested by those who talked to the Hamlet he was from.
Leroy gestured for him to sit down with his offhand. His eyes still reading over the book. The two sat in silence for a few hours oddly enough.
Those few hours passed when he finally put the book down. Then relaxed his legs.
" AH!" Leroy sighed heavily as he dipped his feet into a tub. Only taking a few seconds for it to heat up from being lukewarm. "I could sleep all day tomorrow and not care about anything."
"Oh, that tired are you?" Old Jin asked. He couldn't place it, but he felt he was in the room with an old colleague in a way. Which was old since he was a few centuries old as Nascent Cultivator who happened to have been there a long time and taken a few Longevity Pills already. Every moment he found himself liking this disciple more and more. The only downside was the rumored family ties. "Maybe pace yourself more."
"A good idea, but that is how one dies to another hand in the dark. Not being prepared or being to weak." Leroy was a little upset.
One thing he found in the book he just read, was that several people died from lackluster efforts and not training enough. And these were just the ones he found, imagine the others that did not make it into books for other reasons.
"Being weak is a sin, I want to correct that as soon as possible. Only training and effort can fix that. As well as money in my hands. Which I do not have any of currently."
"The Dark Tiger-fire family did not give you any, I find that hard to believe."
"I am not from that Family," Leroy shook his head annoyed. "Is that reason I have been denied access to some facilities in the Akademy? They think I am a member of this Family wanting to create trouble?"
"You swear you are not related to them?"
"I swear on my Cultivation base that I, Leroy Agu Shentai am not from that Family!" His tone was firm as he basically made a vow to the Heavens themselves just then. Old Jin's eyes went wide as he lowered his head in thought. 'Maybe this old man can help in that regard.'
The Champion still needed to find some Artifacts and the fact he couldn't get into the Library was annoying. Hell, he was not even allowed to go into the Forest or Mountains either for some reason.
"I am my own man, just have to move carefully for now. I am the only one of my Family after all."
"Then the Academy itself?" Old Jin stood up as something on the outside caught his attention. Someone moving along the school grounds when they shouldn't Leroy figured it was the traitors making moves by the abrupt way the old man stood up. "Something has come up, study this when you have the time."
*Woosh!* A manual was placed by Leroy as Old Shot away causing the curtains to flutter about. It really sucked there was no A.C. either in this place.
"Do yourself and the Akademy a favor, if you find some people doing something they shouldn't take care of them." Leroy's words stopped the vice-principal in his tracks in midair. "Let's just say I heard some rumors about some students and some teachers in the Akademy. Discontent and jealousy are strong. I am sure you have heard a few things yourself."
Old Jin stood there for a bit then vanished. His strength was just for show really but the words caused him to act a little bolder. Which in turn pushed his cultivation a little more. If the old man kept this up, he would eventually change his Destiny and p[urge the Heart Demon that plagued him.
Picking up the manual, Leroy read over the cover. It was titled Spatial Sense. A support technique to help with detecting one's surroundings. Considering the complicated routes needed to learn it, Leroy was amazed he passed it over to him.
'Definitely something worthwhile anyway.' Moving to his actual bedroom, the Champion started reading it. Imagine his shock when flipping the first few pages were about Astrology, Geometry, and Nature. "Did he mean to give this to that Chu Xue brat?"
Annoyed, he almost threw something in frustration. But he thought better of it. As he read through the book further and thought over the different passages the Qi needed to go through, his Flame Vortex Core started to circulate inside him faster.
Looking inward, Leroyuwas surprised it started to slow down immediately afterward. Didn't take much to put 2+2 and find out that it spun because of the Manual he currently read over. But now that he was here he took a closer look at the core.
"Very pretty blue fire for one thing." Moving around it, he couldn't help but touch the flames. No pain whatsoever like when he fought against the other Leroy. In fact, it was comforting in a way. Having the not-so-bright idea, he focused on the outside and read the manual again with a bit of his will. "Waaah!"
His eyes read over the text on the outside, as his Soul was pulled into the center of the Flame Vortex Core. It started to spin quickly and hungrily. The fire spread inside him at a fast pace that caused sparks of lighting to generate.
A swirl of a lightning thunderstorm with the devastation of a fire tornado raged at an explosive rate..
