Back in the grass field where the massive red flash had appeared and also where Auden had vanished within a smaller flash of white.
That same site where the conversation between a human and Divine took place now stood a massive crater directly under the blue table which was present without a single scratch and still in the place it was before. Despite there being no ground under and it being bereft of the items that were on it.
All except for the single parchment that Auden had signed with a drop of his blood that somebody picked up after landing on top of the table.
The individual who did it wore a cloak that was of deep red color and had the entire body covered by it all the way up to the neck with a hood on top. He also had a face mask and above that were three pair of eyes with the middle being human while the other two pairs were slightly small, round and entirely red.
From his back four spider like limbs protruded out that were thick as a human arm and twice the length of one while getting thinner at the end, through which he was holding it as his smaller eyes blinked continuously as if scanning the page while his normal ones with their red pupils remained stationary staring it for a while as he then spoke.
"This is a contract made under my name. Which despite all my wishes to tear this apart, I cannot. For it is a fair deal"
Saying that he turned his head away from the parchment and looked down below.
Over to the large crater which had become less concave than before also there was a floating set of a clothing that looked like it belonged to farmer with a straw hat on top and gloves gloves holding a shovel all without anybody inside. On of the glove made a swiping motion somewhere in the empty portion between hat and the shirt as if removing some non-existent sweat.
"Shadow has always been a scheming one but often chooses to learn from his mistakes, although this lesson came to him at a hefty price. Know that you did well despite what your personal feelings are in this matter"
Sitting at the edge of the table he put the page down
"He was an ancient myth since long ago. When I was in my youth the elders used to tell me, 'Never disclose your close secrets out in the open or that Shadow will hear it'. An entity who killed many of my predecessors that were the Divine of Fate of the time, and then successfully changed his fate by destroying those with the fate to overtake him. Nowhere in my good conscious could I have allowed that harm to befall on this child. With that purpose served I am ready to take my leave"
The red cloaked entity respectfully bowed and waited, in the direction of the clothes with a floating straw hat on who then respond saying.
"You don't want to wait till his ascension? Alright. You may leave [Determiner of Fate]"
Transforming into beam of red light he took off from the position and leaving behind the table still floating while having taken along the sheet of paper on it.
After that the crater slowly filled with help of the shovel from which dirt came out of nowhere and wherever the ground had filled up to it's original depth grasses started to grow quickly same to how it was prior it's destruction.

"By-bye? Ouch"
I exclaimed from the pain at the back of my head as I lied on the floor facing my back to it where a few seconds later I began start feeling cold so I attempted to pick myself up by reaching out to the bedside only to grasp a book which I could not see the cover of due to the lack of any light coming from the windows.
'Strange I swear the sun was up just a moment ago'
Not recognizing book or believing it to be even mine at all I threw it over to the tableside and gave it a single thought after not hearing noise from its landing.
'It probably just hit a pillow'
With that I made a second attempt although this time I grasped at corner side of the bed and finally got up. Then dusting off my back and the legs got on to my feet properly.
Heading over to the light switches in order to see properly where I first switched off the fan and turned the light bulb on. Only to look back and get spooked by something I did not expect.
A book was floating behind me with it's pages turning mid-air!
'Is that the book I just threw? Did I displease the ghost of some book writer?'
Whatever the answer was, I had no intent of knowing so I ran at the door and flicked the lock open to get out then turned around to close the door only to see it had reached too close making me run away while leaving the door open.
Back inside I heard my smartphone rang but my current priorities included staying alive by getting away so was difficult to go back and take a look at that smartphone when my life was in danger by some apparition of literature.
'Could it be the ghost of a librarian? But I never left my books due! Maybe it's from the tree that the paper was processed out of'
While running I steered over to the rooms of others in hopes to knock on it for and then either ask or scream for help. Also to just check if maybe I was hallucinating but had no luck as every door was open whether partially or full thus allowing me check inside a few times all of which increased the scale of horror of this situation by many levels.
As every single room I looked into so far was ravaged with all the items or furniture scattered, torn or smashed up alongside the items as well as a few blood stains here and there. This image repeated in a slightly different to the personal items and arrangement but all too similar in the manner as how those who were inside had to maybe deal with one or more wild animals at a time.
My concern shot through the roof as I considered the book behind me to be the culprit for a second.
'Papercuts are no joke but nobody can lose so much blood from it. I should get back to my room in case there is something else much worse roaming around'
After looping around the stairs I got back and running over to my room with the floating book farther than before with there being nothing written on it that I had realised after looking at it few times before the distance had widened so much.
Entering my room I instantly locked the door and sat down on the bed having fully tired myself and again heard my phone ring at my side once more.
Picking it up I to see what message was it I got to the lock screen but became concern seeing as how the battery sign was at zero and the signal having no bars.
"Has it finally broken?"
My smartphone was an old model I had been using since the final year of my high school to now in the third year of my college until where it worked quite smoothly but apparently no more.
Place my fingerprint in the back it changed screen only to show none of the apps, widgets or the wallpaper but a fully black screen with a lengthy amount words written on it.
