Getting back home I saw Grandma talking to someone on the phone crying, and Miss Sanvi comforting her worried

Grandma let go of the phone she was holding and hurried towards me nearly tripping herself I stepped forward to catch her but Miss Sanvi was faster

She refused to drink but after some convincing, she took the glass

Sitting across from Miss Sanvi and Grandma, I started telling them everything from how those guys approached me because Aditi fought with them to, them asking for a match and how it goes from after that, going into as much detail as possible and trying to keep things as real as possible without adding my perspective into it

After I was done, Miss Sanvi took a deep breath and Grandma was sitting silently with tearful eyes whispering to herself, I could hear her saying my parents and Grandpa's name

"I see, so those kids started it first and wanted to fight, but even if that's the case you still went too far Ashwin and I hope you will reflect on what you did"

I looked at Grandma as she rubbed her eyes and looked down, I nodded at Miss Sanvi's words, even if I didn't mean that I still couldn't see Grandma crying anymore

"Good, then grandma, Ashwin leave everything to me I will talk to the parents of those kids" Saying this she got up and left, I could hear her talking to someone on the phone

Grandma is still crying, getting besides her I hugged her "I am sorry Grandma" I am to blame for her state she took care of me and I made her this sad

She grabbed my hand weeping and we both stayed like that

I am called to come to school with a guardian because of what happened yesterday

I called Miss Sanvi and informed her about this she said she would come straight to school and I should go by myself

Entering the school and on my way to the principal office I saw Aditi leaving the office walking in my direction with a piece of paper

She looked at me and called my name

"What is it?" She looked down hiding her face because of the way I asked her, but I didn't care I was not in the mood to talk to her right now

"No" I answered her flatly and continued walking towards the office, she tried to say something, but I just ignored her

After Miss Sanvi came and explained the whole situation to the principal, the parents of the boy I beat tried to retort with 'My son is not like that' and 'he is the worst' and 'My son is in the hospital because of this boy'

And all sort of things but the principal wasn't a stupid person to get swayed by that so he just checked the past records of me, Aditi and those three kids, mine and Aditi's is clean except what happened yesterday and there are a lot of previous complaints for those three kids about bullying, stealing and damaging school property, from both teachers and students

The faces of the parents of those kids were a sight to behold as the principal started listing their son's colourful history

With all that, me and that boy got a generous one-month suspension and this will stay on our records, not that I care

Leaving the school I saw a lot of students eyeing me, my friends were concerned about me and tried to talk to me but I politely told them I was not in the mood to talk

After we got near home Miss Sanvi left for some work that came up so she left after dropping me near home

"My mom came to pick me up soon after I left the principal office" Not that it matters, walking past her I got inside my home "Wait! Ashwin what did the principal say?" She said in a hurry "I got suspension" Flatly answering her I shut the door on her, she seemed to have a lot more to say but I didn't want to hear any of that

On my way to my room, I first got to see how Grandma was doing because she was crying a lot even after I left for school, entering Grandma's room she was sleeping holding onto our family picture, putting the blanket on Grandma I left silently as to not wake her up

Going upstairs to my room I lay down on my bed as the fatigue came over, I went to sleep
