Chapter 3 Part 2 - Getting back to normal

Chapter 3 Part 2 - Getting back to normal

Months went by with my life slowly getting back to normal, except with my friends, I left them all

I couldn't bring myself to trust them, they tried to talk to me especially Aditi but I turned them down

And I feel like this is much better this way

I am happy living my life with Grandma and Miss Sanvi

Waking up, exercising in the morning, having breakfast with Grandma and sometimes also with Miss Sanvi, going to school, studying

Spending my time with Miss Sanvi learning about a lot of things helping grandma with the house chores, going to the library researching time travel, going to judo classes, and then getting back to sleep after dinner

Living a normal, slow and happy life

---

With winter holidays coming, me, grandma and Miss Sanvi are sitting in the living room thinking about what to do and where to go

"What are you going to do in the holidays" Miss Sanvi looked at me with serious eyes as if we were planning a raid to save the world

"I plan to sleep and just don't do anything, to be honest" I had a really crazy year and I just want to rest now while I can

"That won't do Ashwin, you are still young you should have some fun while you can" She is sounding too serious

"Do you have a plan Miss Sanvi?" Her eyes glow up like a child with candy, at my question

"YES, look I found this really fun family trip package" She handed me her smartphone with a website showing the trip to Goa

"Then let's go to Goa" She is brimming with excitement, she really wanted to go there, but Grandma seemed concerned about something

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

"Sanvi, Is it really ok, you are rather busy nowadays and I would feel bad taking your time like that"

"You don't have to worry about that Grandma I already freed my schedule for the trip and I really wanted some time off from all that work" She massaged her shoulders with an exaggerated, tired expression

"If you are okay then so am I" With Grandma's agreement we all packed for the trip

---

The sea breeze, the weather, people playing in the sea, kids with sand, walking around the stalls with Miss Sanvi having a really nice drink, having one of the best times in my life the only thing I wanted was to see Miss Sanvi in a swimsuit but I guess you can't have everything, I should enjoy what I have

"Grandma, do you like that" Grandma was looking at some handmade jewelleries

"Oh, I just thought that they looked really beautiful"

"Let's buy that" Miss Sanvi excitedly ran and bought that piece of jewellery "Wa-wait, Sanvi" and put it on grandma

"You look great Grandma" Clasping her hand excitedly Miss Sanvi said looking at me for agreement "Yes that suits you Grandma" She really looks good

Looking at Grandma smiling with the jewellery on I should buy one for Miss Sanvi too

I am walking, looking around for something that would look good on Miss Sanvi

A necklace caught my eye it has a green stone in the middle with a simple design making an eight

"How much is this necklace" It was well under my allowance so I bought it in a heartbeat and ran straight to Miss Sanvi

"Miss Sanvi" Gesturing for her to bend down I put on the necklace

She was surprised and looked at the necklace "Wow, this is soo pretty," looking around the necklace curiously "Did you pick it for me, Ashwin?" she asked

"Yes"

"That looks really good on you Sanvi" Grandma complimented

"Now we should buy something for you" Miss Sanvi said looking at me with a mischievous tone

"You are right Sanvi" Grandma also said with a similar tone

"What?"

We ended up picking things for each other but the items Miss Sanvi and Grandma picked for me, well let's say they are unique stuff and they were having fun putting those ‘things’ on me

We had a lot of fun and went back to the hotel because Grandma was getting tired

"Hey Ashwin you want to have some light snacks I am thinking about going to a restaurant" Miss Sanvi asked me

"Yes, why not" I answered

"Have fun and take care" Grandma said as we left for the restaurant
