Chapter 2
Standing at around 19 feet tall, the male was shorter than the female, but much bigger around. He too had a strongman's physique, though his body eclipsed the woman’s. His arms were easily two of hers put together. Strongmen from long ago would weep if they saw him and proclaim him a god. If not for the fact that, along with his giant biceps and muscles, he also came with a huge beer belly.
He had bright red hair, and a solitary braid on his front left side. Bright as fire, his long red hair was left unruly, swaying at shoulder height, wild and unkempt. He had a big, bushy beard that he had decorated with bones and skulls, in place of beads, and closely resembled an ancient Viking. Looking closer, one could even see a few human-looking skulls in his hair.
Both giants were wearing massive fur pelts, no doubt taken from their hunting of the massive beasts. The biggest and most beautiful seemed to be made into capes and Arges even had the head skin of the massive predator proudly displayed on his shoulder. No doubt to show his triumph over the gargantuan beast.
The rest looked to be placed together to make shirts and pants and every other cloth. The female even had bright gold, red, and even blue eagle feathers, decorating the back of her hair. Continuing to walk towards him, the pair of giants argued.
“I don’t care why they are here; tell them to fuck off!" "For Gaia’s sake!" "Would the earth mother want them to bow their heads?" "I know fighting the dragons hasn’t been easy lately, but for Uranus’s sake, we are giants!" "What are they even here for this time?" Saram roared at Argath, with growing frustration." "Argath, for the last time, stop talking, and I will tell you what happened.”
Looking at the two giants arguing as he laid still on the table, he began to contemplate whether he should pretend to be asleep. His heart began to pound, as he imagined the two giants picking him up, and ripping him in half to devour him together. "I can’t believe I reincarnated, and I’m already going to die." "How am I so unlucky?"
Noticing him trying to wiggle out of the fur bundling him together, the female began to walk towards him, and spoke. "Damn it, I’m done for!" Looking down at him, she spoke softly, “So you finally woke up, little one.”
Walking closer, she reached out to him with one arm, and supported him with it. Picking him up with her other arm. It was at this moment, that he realized, he was not the right size. From his perspective, he was a small newborn child. However, once he was picked up, he realized that, based on her size, he was around 7 or 8 feet tall.

If that’s the case, "is this giant my mom?" He could feel all of his nerves relax as he began to look into the woman’s bright, golden-purple colored eyes. "How beautiful!" Staring into her eyes was almost hypnotizing. Bright purple that gets darker as you look into the center, with gold and silver sprinkled around. Her eyes were stunning, resembling stars and galaxies.
Sitting down in an angry huff, Argath spoke again. "Okay, fine. I’m listening." "Talk! Where did you get this child from?" "He isn’t one of us. Just look at his skin!" "Ours is golden." "He isn’t one of the other tribes." "He’s not blue or purple." "He looks like a human with skin like that." "Is he a Hecatoncherie or a Jotnar?" "Either way, he is much too big!" "I have never seen a baby this big."
Irritated, and growing angry, Saram spoke up, "Do not speak ill of this child, Argath, or by Atlas’s name; I will beat you within an inch of your life and toss you out!" "This is still my village." "I am still the chief!" "If you just shut your gullet for a second, you would hear what you wanted to know." "Also, just so you know, this child is a newborn." Stunned at the insane claim, he replied, Impossible! I’ve never heard of a giant born that big!"
Argath looked like he had his intelligence insulted, and was ready to explode and fight it out right then, but Saram put her finger to her lips, motioning for silence while staring daggers at him. "LISTEN!" Barely controlling himself, Argath stood facing Saram in silence.
Soon, the voices of people praying came from outside the house. Listening closely, he was able to hear, “All hail, Uranus!" "The old father has given the world another true child!" "All hail, Gaia!" "Mother and Giver!" Listening to the prayers, Argath first looked at the child, and went pail, before going right back to his anger and outrage.
"Sacrilege!" "Nonsense!" "How could you possibly believe this, Saram?" "Uranus is dead!" "He was killed by Chronos!" "Even Atlas, the strongest forefather of our tribe, told us of his death before he was imprisoned by the new gods!" "Even he had given up hope." "No one will hear our cries."
"Forget about the gods, I see no way of dealing with the dragons, gnawing at our numbers at every turn!" "So tell me how you think that this is the Titan maker’s child!" "Don't be foolish Saram." "Besides the skin and size, I see nothing else, and for that, I would rather believe that he is a mutated Cyclops or an absurdly rare Jotnar."
BAM!!! Saram took her left arm and smashed apart the massive boulder used as a chair in the tent. The boulder was blasted into powder as she stared daggers at Argath. “This is the second time I have warned you. There will not be a third.” Staring in shock with his mouth agape, Argath examined the powder and shattered pieces of boulder on the floor, questioning his own strength.
Canvassing her much smaller muscles, Argath began bitterly complaining in his mind. How unfair is it that Saram is so powerful, without even training, while he trains every day to become the chieftain and beat her, and yet the difference is still this big? Looking at the boulder in front of him, he finally understood.
She had never been serious when they had competed in the past. "Fine… " Argath muttered, deflated, and defeated. "What makes everyone so sure that this is what’s happening?" Saram’s eyes lit up, as if waiting for that specific question, and with a comforting smile spreading across her face, she looked at Argath straight in the eyes and said, “Because I was there when he was born."
