Ah…I ended up letting eris bring that slime back with us…
I got a report that monsters activity are increasing by the day, and not long after that this supposed sentient slime appeared? I don’t think this is just a coincidence.
This is troublesome, how can i let a slime waltz into our house that easily.
Well…if she looked at me with upturned eyes like that i can’t possibly oppose her, she’s just too cute
I take a glance at eris, she is letting that slime sit on her lap while playing with him. I sigh
(I’ve been sighing a lot today)
Suddenly eris direct her large black eyes on me
“Brother, lets sit down don’t wander around the house like that its bad manner”
“Okay…”
I slowly walk to where they are and sit down.
“Kuma said he wanted to talk with us regarding our situation from now on”
“Okay, lets talk then. At least, i can hear what this slime have to say first before i make any decisions”
Eris seems to have taken a liking to that slime. if i by any circumstances try to forcefully throw away that slime, I’ll be hated. And i dont want that.

“So, lets first introduce ourselves. my name is Makoto Nanda i usually go by Sword Saint. But calling me mako or nanda is fine as well”
“Pleased to meet you, my name is Kuma as you can see im a slime”
Surprisingly its manners are good
“Before we continue, can you answer my questions?”
“Its okay, i know that you will ask me questions sooner or later. But let me remind you that i was just born not too long ago, so i may not be of much help”

I throw a deep sigh.
“how can you…a monster be able to think like us humans”
I look at him as i ask this question
“Honestly i dont know. The best that i can guess is that i must be a rare variant of a slime, or in other word a mutated monster”

I feel something similar…
I feel something similiar from this slime infront of me

Suddenly the atmosphere around that slime are becoming heavy, its surface jiggles and ripples for a little bit.
It looks stunned, like a spear suddenly pierced him from behind as he quiver slowly.
(I need to know, if by the slim chance that this slime will bring harm to this family then, i dont care what will eris think of me. I will kill him right here…right now.)

Eris just stare at the both of us worryingly as the silence grew longer
Suddenly
“I!..I maybe a monster, and you may not believe me but…i will not bring harm to your family. You can trust me on this”
This slime…no, kuma may not have any facial expressions. all that i can see is a bluish surface of his body. but i can feel something akin to sadness as his surface ripples and jiggles.
He is the same as me
He is currently feeling the same as me at that time
