The Orc King breathes in and out, its noxious breath carried a foul smell and a green colour. Suddenly, the wooden boxes at the corner disintegrates into dust as its breath reaches them. We need to be careful, Edward beckons Accel. Then the Orc King while sitting on its massive bronze throne, stands up and disappears into thin air. Its after image still lingers around but its body is missing.
“Dodge! It’s here!” I screamed at the top of my lungs.
We escaped our spot just as the Orc King lands its club on the area that we were just standing at. It lands gently on its feet while the club makes a small dent in the cold hard floor of the lair.
I started to cast my ice rain spells and fire tornado. It was highly ineffective as rounds upon rounds of attacks render it worthless. Instead Accel’s physical attacks were much more effective. His slashes and sword attacks did a tremendous damage to the Orc King as it falters backwards while trying to dodge him.
The Orc King then starts to cast his magic as well. He casts the spell Autumn rain, which rains sharp Autumn leaves on us. I use an ice shield spell to block most of the impact and dodge the rest.
“So what is its weakness Accel? My fire and ice magic are completely useless in this case.”
“Dark magic is extremely good against the Orc King, but I don’t think you know that right?”
“Oh! Dark magic? That’s my specialty. Leave it to me!”
I once again cast fire rain on the Orc King but this time I combine it with my incantation for dark magic. Turning it into dark fire rain, the embers of it which burn infinitely and darkly in the darkness of the dungeon which cannot be seen. The Orc King takes tremendous damage as I cast the spell and predict where it is going to land. Apparently it tracks our movements and will go to wherever we last go to. The Orc King falters with sixty percent of its health left, most of which was dealt by the physical attacks of Accel and my dark magic.
I cast a new spell - Fire Prison and once again combine it with dark magic. It turns into Dark Fire Prison and traps the Orc King permanently inside of it. As the eternal dark flames of the Fire prison burn brightly in the dungeon, the Orc King screams in pain as it is unable to get out. Then it spawns several large Orcs using summoning magic and we are held back while fighting them.
I cast ice magic with tornado to become ice tornado magic. It seemed somewhat effective with the smaller but still considerably large Orcs. The ice tornado brings down the lair temperature to a chill and I sneeze in response.
Meanwhile in the midst of all this, Accel’s relentless physical attacks did not go unnoticed. He was so busy slashing and cutting with his sword that he left no time for shielding. Thus he would bear the brunt of the attacks from the Orcs.
I use my rejuvenation spell while moving backwards to a safe space, Accel’s health restored to its previous highs. The Orc King then bursts out of the Dark Fire Prison. An event that left me in shock and my mouth wide agape.
It resumes its attacks as it throws the club at Accel. Accel who was still busy fighting the other Orcs did not notice in time. Just as the club was about to reach him at breakneck speeds, I immediately cast an ice shield on him. The club shatters the ice shield and the collateral damage from the ice shards worsens the impact from the club, I once again was forced to use Rejuvenation. I pop open a mana bottle as my mana was fast draining out. I drink the sapphire blue potion in record time as my mana bar recovers to full.

I cast another round of dark fire rain at the Orc King to great effect. There’s only ten percent of its health left. Accel decides to cast his second ultimate skill, double consecutive slashing. The Orc King falters and retreats back all the way to its throne where it sits and recovers health. Then as a final blow, I cast dark fire prison again. This time the dark fire prison closes in on the Orc King, burning it for eternity as it is unable to escape the harrowing fire.
The Orc King screams in pain as it goes down. It finally dies and drops several useful items in its wake. Of those items were a magical cape, several potions and a bag. Accel and I shared the spoils of the hard won battle. This was a victory worthy of celebration.
I don the special magical cape which boosts my magic by plus five. The potions were health potions and mana potions respectively. And the bag? I let Accel have it.
A portal door opens at where the Orc King had died. There, level four awaits. The level of death that is. At least that was what Azel told me back at level one. You must be careful of level four of the dungeons, I could still hear his voice echoing at the back of my mind.
Accel and I enter the door together once again. This time we weren’t sure if we could come back. For it’s the floor of death that we are going. Why is four the floor of death you might be asking? Because four sounds like death in Chinese. Thus it is commonplace for all things associated with it to be related to death. However it remains to be seen if the floor of death is really as challenging as it seems.
As we reach the next floor, a veil of fire was already surrounding us and there was no escape. A one eye giant was staring at us. Popular culture would call it a cyclops. It was looking at us curiously before running away. We laughed as we saw the back of the cyclops disappear into the horizon. I told Accel that this floor must be a joke. And we were all laughing until the cyclops came back. This time it’s with a crowd of cyclops. Hundreds of them. Our laughs turn into collective screaming.
It must have been the tenth time I casted dark fire rain. It was highly effective but the hordes of cyclops keep coming. And they were absolutely relentless. The waves came and came without stopping. Now I know why this is called the level of death.
There was no choice left. I had to use it. I starting my incantation chant for the space-time magic teleportation spell. We were transported into the town of Cabina, where our next adventure lies.
The town of Cabina was a laid back town, it was a town known for magic. And sure enough when we arrived at this town, the snow white libraries of the town caught my eye. But before that the towering walls of the town went up to fifty meters tall. It was enough to keep out the most dangerous of enemies. And that included all the cyclops that were there. There were magicians stationed at every step of the walls. Ready to attack any intruder that might enter their walls. The walls were also well fortified with spears and shields that protect its inhabitants from the outside.
We immediately checked into our very first hotel in the dungeon. It was surprisingly well furnished and there was a study desk as well. The balcony view was just the icing on the cake. Meanwhile Accel was busy, he had business in this town so he excused himself.
For me I took the time to read up on magic and go to the libraries. There, I would find elements of all kinds from light to plant. There were all kinds of magic yet to be discovered. This place was like a paradise to me. We would spend the rest of the week at the town of Cabina before moving on. In another case, Accel was busy fighting monsters and farming up for Durins.
He needed the money to invest in his gear as he was falling behind. This is because although we were a party together. I had the special skill of upgraded spoils. Which means I got more money and items for the same monsters that we all killed together. Hence the reason why Accel was falling behind. Although gradually he was soon proving to be more useless in the previous fights. This was entirely due to his equipment. There was absolutely nothing wrong with him but Accel felt differently about everything. He felt that he was falling behind because he was not strong enough. Thus he farmed and farmed more and more, accumulating a fortune which could buy a house. Then at the night of week one, he bought his best equipment to date.
