As the creature flew through the air towards them, Thiago's vision saw it in slow motion, as he was much stronger than it, he slowly raised his left paw and, as if to kill a prying fly, swatted the creature to the ground, which only saw a huge dark paw grow in his vision before it felt everything hurt and crashed to the ground.
"Boom!"
Faye showed no change of expression, as if she had already expected such an outcome, and just looked at the creature condescendingly.
"What a nuisance, tsk, this bastard had to interrupt my leisure time so violently." Thiago muttered as he shifted his gaze to the creature now lying on the ground.
He had deliberately suppressed his power, otherwise the creature would surely have ceased to exist after it had completely evaporated into a mist of blood.
He had not done this out of pity or benevolence or compassion for all living creatures, which would have been completely uncharacteristic of him and not at all in keeping with his personality, but he had simply left the creature as a corpse, at least for the time being, so that he could use his Eyes of Eternal Truth on it to find out what kind of creatures lurked in this plain area they were currently wandering through.
When Thiago activated his special eye ability, the information about the creature in front of them was compiled directly into his illusory panel in his mind.
[Razorback Boar in the 6th Level of the Student Realm
This creature, a Razorback Boar, is a large and aggressive wild boar with a dangerous set of razor-sharp tusks. Its thick hide makes it difficult to penetrate with conventional weapons or cultivators with low piercing power, and it is known to be fiercely territorial and extremely hostile to intruders in its territory. (…) This Razorback Boar belongs to an extremely weak branch of the Razorback Boar clan, located in a part of the Central Plains in the south of the empire, where it is already its strongest member.]
"Well, it seems we have intruded into its territory, that's probably why it attacked us so aggressively," explained Thiago to Faye after he had read through the introductory information about the boar.
"Huh, oh, that makes sense, well, it's a shame it ran into us, hehe," Faye added, taking a closer look at the boar that was now lying in a small pool of blood on the dusty ground, staining the ground around it dark red and brown.
His fur had metallic tones and his back was covered in sharp spikes, many of which had been broken off after he had been brutally thrashed to death by Thiago, and their tips glinting menacingly in the sun.
'Heh, even if you look strong and domineering, weren't you easily beaten to death by Thiago just now, Hehe,' Faye mocked the boar inwardly, after she had to admit that he looked quite dangerous after observing his body just now.
"What are we going to do with this boar's body or are you going to put it in your space storage, like you did every time you killed beasts in the forest in the last period?" she asked, turning to Thiago.
"Well, that was my idea, but I thought we could use the boar for lunch later, what do you think?" replied Thiago, who had originally planned to use the boar's body just to get system points, but then changed his mind, because it wouldn't be bad to eat something that wasn't bought from the system once in a while.
And just as he had suspected, as soon as he mentioned the word 'lunch', Faye's eyes lit up like stars, as they did every time the subject of food came up, which seemed to draw her like a moth to a flame.
"Yes, yes, that's a good idea, this lady approves of it," Faye replied pretentiously, earning a grin from Thiago, who tried to suppress his laughter as he always did when she spoke like that.
"Well, the let's do it as I said, but we will only have lunch later right since it hasn't been long since we had breakfast, right?" Said Thiago. Upon hearing that she would have to wait a while for lunch, she answered: "Yes this princess obviously has thought the same as you," although her dejected facial expression clearly betrayed her words, which made Thiago chuckle a little and thereafter said, "Don't worry it won't take too much longer, let's just find a nice place where we can comfortably eat first, alright?"
"Well, yeah, that's fine, like I said, I don't really care, if it was up to me we could still walk for hours before lunch, humph," Faye explained, her heart not beating any faster as she told such an obvious lie; it seemed that this kind of arrogant and pretentious personality had already been engraved deep in her bones.
Not that it bothered Thiago at all, because that was a part of Faye that he had really grown to like about her, because it was always funny to listen to her and to talk to her when she talked like she was some kind of high and mighty immortal empress. Maybe Thiago was a bit weird for liking that, but who cared anyway.
It was not as if there were no stranger likings out there in the world...
Anyway, once the matter of lunch had been settled, Thiago placed the razorback boar in his spatial necklace, which would perfectly preserve the condition and quality of the corpse, so as not to spoil the meat.

"All right then, let's keep going," Thiago declared after taking a quick peek at the map in his head with the location of the city marked on it to make sure they were still on the right track.
The non-existent clock was ticking, and in the passage of time the seconds flew by and became minutes, until half an hour had passed in a flash...
"This is a good place, let's rest here," Thiago said as he pointed to a rather odd arrangement of large rocks that looked like a roof that kept the sun from burning down on them. Even cultivators up to a certain level could feel the heat and be irritated by it, as the sunbeams that fell to the ground in the cultivation world were many times hotter than the sunbeams in Thiago's previous life, which also meant that some weaker cultivators would seek shelter from the sun when they were in such a flat area where the sun poured down mercilessly, as Thiago and Faye were in right now.
Well, even though that was the case, it still had to be made clear that only weak cultivators could really feel the sunbeams pouring down on them and irritating them, so as not to make the cultivators look weak by falsely assuming that every cultivator would feel it.
A good analogy for this is that it is like the wind on a windy day. Everyone feels the wind to some extent, but the stronger you are, the less it bothers you. A light breeze may feel refreshing to some, while a gust may knock others off their feet. Similarly, a weak cultivator might be irritated by the sun's rays, but a strong cultivator would hardly notice them.
It seemed that these stones had been arranged by some human cultivators who had weak members in their entourage or escort, but whatever the case, Thiago thought this was a good place to have lunch. He also guessed that they had been rather poor, as they could have easily set up a formation that would have cooled the area, but instead they had chosen to use such a crude way of blocking the sun.
When Faye heard Thiago, she immediately looked to where he was pointing and was quite amazed at the strange arrangement of these stones, but she was even happier that she could finally have the lunch she had been craving for the last half hour, which they had taken from the spot where Thiago had killed the razorback boar.
Just a short time later they were already inside of the stone encased area, and they could clearly feel the temperature difference between the outside and the inside.
Satisfied with the location he had chosen, Thiago promptly fetched various items from his spatial storage. First, he pulled out two lecti (Roman couch-like chairs), which they would later use to eat, just as the ancient Romans did on Thiago's home planet Earth.
Then he pulled out a large pack of coals, which he had bought some time ago, to make a fire on the floor later to roast the meat. For this purpose, he also pulled out a campfire spit, on which he placed the razorback boar, so that it could be easily roasted into delicious meat.
He also changed into his human form to set up the fire and everything else, as it was just much easier to handle things when you had arms to move things around with, although he could theoretically use his divine sense for that, it was just that he had no reason to do so at the moment, as he could just use his hands and arms in his human form.
Obviously, he had not changed in front of Faye, as he would have appeared naked, which would have been extremely embarrassing for both parties, and instead he had just quickly entered his inner world, changed into his human form and put on his robe, which he had actually dubbed the 'Twilight Robe'. The name had a real meaning, and he had thought that it represented his two very different forms, his tiger form on the one hand, and his human form on the other.
Well, he had come up with that name on the spur of the moment, and perhaps he would come up with another one in the future, if he was still using that robe at all.
Anyway, after changing into his robe, he quickly left his inner world and reappeared where he had left it, next to the things he had taken from his spatial necklace earlier.
Faye watched eagerly from the side-lines. She had a hungry look on her face, as if she could not wait for the food to be ready.
Thiago noticed, of course, but he was already using his fastest speed to build the fire and whatever else was needed, while Faye was literally just a spectator on the side-lines, doing nothing to help, not that there was much she could do, to be fair.
After taking out most of the things he needed, Thiago grabbed the pack of coals he had taken out of his storage space earlier and just emptied the whole pack onto the ground, not caring that he was wasting them since he could always buy them back at the System Mall when he needed them.
He casually took a look at the pile of coal before him, feeling a familiar tingle in his fingertips. Suddenly, a bright flash of lightning crackles from his fingertips, igniting the pile and quickly spreading to the coals he had set up, which immediately ignited due to the lightnings massive heat and energy.
Immediately, a massive fire appeared in front of him, but he obviously wasn't afraid in the slightest, as this was just a normal fire, not even a spiritual one, so it couldn't hurt him in the slightest, not to mention that his robe had fire immunity.
Now came basically the last step, which was to place the meat above the fire.
Using the bonfire skewer he had brought with him earlier, he pierced the body of the razorback boar, which he had already skinned just now and then placed it over the fire, where it rotated steadily to roast the meat evenly from all sides.
While it rotated Thiago also poured various spices and seasonings over the razorback boar's body otherwise it would probably taste a bit bleak, at least Thiago thought so.
Slowly, after a few minutes had passed, an extremely mouth-watering aroma wafted through the air, making both Faye and Thiago eagerly anticipate their lunch.
A short time later, when the meat was cooked to perfection and the fat on it was already drizzling, Thiago cut off several large and delicious-looking pieces of meat and placed them on two large plates, which he had also just taken out of his storage space, where he literally had so many things related to food that he had bought some time ago and would not be so stupid as to throw them away.
He then placed one of the plates before Faye and the other one he took himself.
"Alright, let's dig in!" Thiago exclaimed before biting into the piece of meat, which immediately gave him a satisfying feeling as it really tasted extremely good.
On the other hand, Faye had not even waited for Thiago to start talking and had already bitten into the meat before that, and she also enjoyed the taste and was just as satisfied as Thiago.
"Hai, this really tastes like the lady wants it to, I must say," Faye exclaimed in delight before she took her second bite, then her third and then there was no more, and she had to ask Thiago to give her another piece of meat.
Soon the two had finished their sumptuous meal and were relaxing and resting in their lecti, when Thiago suddenly broke the silence that had been established, as they were both a little too stuffed to have a proper conversation.
"I don't know if this is a sensitive subject, but do you...
