10.2. Just Chillin (1 of 2)

“What about dinner?” Silver asks Aze.

“I’ll bring you dinner.” Aze sang. “Just relax.” Aze pushes us through the door and slams it behind them.

Silver leans forward and falls to the ground. “That was rude of her...” He lays there, forgetting I am under him. “I feel like I have forgotten something.” He didn’t notice me underneath him trying to get his attention. Instead, he fell asleep on top of me.

“Sometimes I miss having the ability to speak or annoying girl’s sister is here... Even Rue would be nice.” I thought to myself. “He’s such an asshole... What was I talking about again...? Oh yeah...” I then fell asleep.

Silver laid there for several minutes before waking up. “Oh... Where’s L?” Silver got up and looked around. First, he looked to the right. “Nope... she’s not here...” He looked to the left. “Nothing...” He didn’t know where I was, which puzzles him. “Where did she go?” Silver stands up and starts walking. As soon as he starts walking, he hears a cracking noise beneath him. “Hmm?” Silver looks down and notices that he had steps on me. “There you... are...”

Silver kneels and picks me up. Which startles me, and I start thrashing around. “What’s going on?” I screech in confusion. I couldn’t tell what was happening because of my impaired judgment. All of my senses are telling me I am in danger. He holds his arms out away from him as I try to break free. I head-butt Silver’s face as I try to get away. The impact of my face startled him, and he dropped me. My head slammed itself into the ground, face first.

“Owie!!” I rub my head from shock. It didn’t hurt as much as it was startling. As I get back up, an enormous amount of pressure starts building up near my stomach. I get up on both legs, holding onto my stomach. My legs are shaking from weakness and something else. It takes me a second, but I know what it was. I need to pee, and badly. Tugging at Silver’s shirt and I tried speaking. If you can call it talking, it was more like a baby screeching. “Iye neeee to pweee!” Trying to whistle as little as possible.

Silver stares at me, lost for words. “Hey, Aze, are you still there!?”

“Yes!” Aze said from the bathroom.

“L is doing a weird dance.” He said to Aze in an uncertain tone.

“Is she holding her hands and wiggling her legs?” Aze asks.

“Her legs are always shaking!” Silver waves his arms like one of those inflatable tube people. “It’s what they do!”

“Let me see.” Aze pokes her head through the door. She then looks down at me. She saw how I was shaking and tugging on Silver’s shirt. “How much longer will that herb’s effects last for?”

“I don’t... Later tonight? He never said...” Silver said, trying to think back.

“Who gave you the herbs?” Aze asks.

“I said. I found the herbs.” He laughs.

“I know that...” Aze said in frustration. “But who made them into candies!” Aze slaps her head and groans.

“A skinny-tall man with crazy eyes turned them into candies.” Silver paused for a moment and thought. “I believe... They call him White?”

“Of course...” Aze sighs. She then turns the focus back to the current problem. “Yes, she needs to pee. Give me a minute, and I’ll take her.”
