CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
Li Feng looks at the sword and considers his options. He could easily walk away and never think of the sword again, but a mythical object from stories of ages gone by is right in front of him.
As a person without cultivation, he’d be fooling is not try to pull the sword out! He’s got nothing to lose, even if he can’t pull it out!
However, around Li Feng are still many people. Though the first and second floor have more people looking around on them, the third floor has at least ten people in sight of Li Feng. Since the Demonic Dynasty Destroyer is in the center of the room, Li Feng will have an especially difficult time not being noticed.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
And then, if he pulls the sword out successfully, what will happen to it? Li Feng doubts he’ll be allowed to take the sword, which has tens of thousands of years of history behind it, back to the hotel with him. Even if he is allowed to keep it, what’s going to stop an arrogant cultivator from stealing it from him? Simply wrapping a cloth around the handle makes a cultivator able to use the sword without losing their cultivation.
Another big question is what would happen to Li Feng himself. The sword was used in the past to almost defeat an empire, it could surely be used again for the same purpose. Would Li Feng be executed as a conspirator to commit treason?
In the end, Li Feng decides to pass on trying to pull the sword out of the meteorite. It would only produce more trouble than it’s worth if he managed to pull it out, and it’s not like it’s going anywhere. If Li Feng needs it, the sword will likely be in the same place.
In addition, Li Feng doesn’t even know how to use a sword.
