Chapter 127 Uncle Andre

Uncle Andre

I got a bit flustered as he squinted his eyes, trying to look closer at what it was. I quickly reacted and waved my hands in front of his face to distract him.

"Mr. Andrei, do you remember that deal we made?" I asked.

His face turned into a smile as he looked at me, completely forgetting about the Frequency-Pulser.

"That's right!"

"Yes, well how about we go now?" I asked, and a smile appeared on his face.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" he said as he headed towards the driver's seat. "C'mon, do you have the keys?" he asked.

I was happy that I had distracted him all above anything else, so I looked at him with a smile and pulled out the keys from my pocket.

"Right here, Mr. Andrei."

"Awesome, get in then, also call me Uncle Anrei" he said as he waved towards the me.

I walked over and entered the passenger seat, where he was excitedly holding onto the steering wheel and looking around at the car.

He stopped for a second, however, and looked towards me with a confused face.

"Uhh, so how do you start the car?" he asked as he found that there was no key on my keychain.

I smiled and asked him to simply say "Power On."

He had a confused look on his face, but he did it anyway, and the car started up as the dashboard lit up with a purple light that snaked all around the front of the car.

He excitedly shouted and jumped in the seat as he switched the gear to reverse and brought the car out of the driveway onto the road.

He looked towards me and asked how fast the car could go.

With a smile, I told him that it could go pretty fast.

He chuckled a bit and looked towards the road. "Alright then, I will be the judge of that," he said as he slammed on the accelerator.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

I felt my entire body shift back onto the seat as I got dazed for a second.

What quickly brought me back however was the loud, freaked out screaming of Uncle Andrei as he tightly held onto the steering wheel as if holding onto dear life.

"Jarvis, stop the car!" I shouted as the car slowed down at a reasonable pace while Andrei was still shouting his lungs out.

As the car stopped, Uncle Andrei jumped out of the car, his legs shaking as he pointed at the car with freaked-out eyes.

"What kind of goddamn monster is this?" he shouted in the middle of the night.

Seeing how freaked out he was, I got out of the car, and he pointed his shaking finger at me.

"Boy, what the hell was that?"

"Uncle Andrei, calm down," I said multiple times, trying to calm him down, but that seemed to have no effect on him.

"Boy, what do you mean calm down? I saw my life flash past my eyes when I hit that pedal.

Boy, I saw my dead grandma at the other side of the bridge.

Don't you dare tell me to calm down, I will whoop your ass," he said as he started running at me.

My eyes widened as I stopped myself from laughing and started running as he kept shouting.

"Boy, get your ass back here! You ain't tell me, that shit would be that fast!" he said as he kept chasing me.

I actually was trying to hold back my laughter as I saw a short man chasing after me, saying stuff that, although threatening, sounded like the funniest damn thing coming out of his mouth.

"I'm sorry!" I shoted back as I ran, holding back laughter, and entered my house.

"Don't let me catch you around, boy!" I heard him shouting from the outside Before I saw him angrily stomp away to his house and shut the door, and I couldn't help but break down on the floor laughing my heart out.

The noise that we had caused, however, seemed to be too much, as I heard the lights in the house flicker on as a door opened from the staircase above.

I stopped my laughter as I wiped away the tear drops that came out of my eyes as I looked above the staircase and saw Dad.

"James?"

I awkwardly put my hand up. "Hey, Dad," I said as I stood up.

Dad walked down the stairs as he looked towards me.

"When did you come home? And what was all of that noise?" He asked looking sleepy.

"I came home a while ago, and the noise was just some minor stuff," I said as I casually waved my hands. "Don't even worry about it, Dad," I said.

Dad went quiet for a second before he spoke again. "Well, whatever it was, you look like a mess right now."

I looked at myself in the mirror, and indeed, I looked like a mess. My hair was messed up, and my dress was also messy.

Dad smelled something as his nose perked up, and he covered it. "Also, take a bath," Dad savegly said as he walked back up the stairs, leaving me embarrassed.

I wondered just how bad I smelled and decided to take a whiff of my armpits.

I took one whiff and immediately closed my nose. "Yeah, I definitely need a bath," I thought as I started heading up the stairs.

I even wondered how Uncle Andre didn't smell me, but I simply chalked it up to the fact that some surgical procedures require the use of medications or anesthesia that can temporarily impair the sense of smell of the surgeon.

And since Uncle Andre is a surgeon, I assume that, this is what happened.

I heard the door close upstairs and light switch get flicked, so I assumed that Dad must have gone to sleep.

I took a glance outside the door and saw my car arrive and shut itself on the driveway, so I shut the door as it got automatically locked and headed upstairs for a bath and a nap.
