[July 1947, Los Angeles, California]
A man with short blonde hair, stands inside the phone booth.
“Yeah, how much did we make?” He askes
{Mumbling mixed with static.} Comes through the other side.
“Nice. Well see you, bye.” He then hangs up the phone and steps out.
He then walks over to the Buick Super Eight he had just purchased the month prior.
He opens the passenger door and gets in, letting out an audible moan as he sits in the seat.
A bald headed man who is about three inches taller is in the driver’s seat. He asked, “Why are you so in love with this car?”
“Because, my dear friend. Fifty years from now this car will be worth hundreds of thousands and I am going to make start a collection of the most expensive cars ever starting with this one.” The man in the passenger seat goes as he puts a pair of sunglasses on and hangs his other arm out the car and says, “Now let’s drive this baby.”
This is obviously Mike and Jim who are now 25 and 27 respectively.
Jim starts the ignition as he asked, “How much did we get from the short sell?”
“Four and a half million dollars.” Said mike with a smug grin on his face.
{Whistle, tone descending} “Nice.” Replies Jim while shaking his head
“Do you still regret trusting me back then.”
“Nah, but I do still wonder if your messing with me about the aliens. Oh, and where are we going?”
“Your gonna like this, trust me.”
[Earlier that week at Isodyne Energy Headquarters]
"Miss Frost, you're making a terrible mistake, I can't in good conscience let you go through with it." Said Jason Wilkes as he held the containment vessel.

"So, you're willing to die, for this crisis of conscience?" Replied Whitney Frost while pointing her gun at Jason.
"I'm starting to think that was your plan for me no matter what." He said as he took a step towards her knowing she won’t shot while he has the dark matter in his hands.
He attempts to disarm her from the gun but they end up on the ground as he drops the container causing a large explosion.
[Present, Studio Plot 9, Stark Pictures]
Hovering above a clearing amongst the set is a giant black crack in reality. Standing about thirty feet away from it are three men.
The African-American man is fiddling with a machine while the other two are attempting to hit a golf ball into it and placing a new ball on the tie.
Jim and Mike are watching hidden above them in the scaffolding of one of the sets.
{Whoosh.}
“Didn’t compensate for the wind. Jarvis, set me up.” Howard Stark shouts after missing his shot.
Over the radio came the voice of agent carter, “Status check, any sign of miss frost. Howard?”
Jason Wilkes picks it up a replies down it, “All’s quiet, though some of us may have to revaluate our priorities.”
“Your absolutely right, doctor Wilkes. Nobody ever cares about the long game.” Replied Howard as he took another swing. “Damn! What am I doing wrong Jarvis?”
“Sir…we are standing before an incomprehensible rip in the fabric of our world. Use a seven Iron.” Replies Edwin Jarvis
Jim is on the floor trying not to start laughing at the scene as Mike is just sitting there eating some popcorn.
“Okay, I believe you.” squeezed out Jim between breathes as he stood up. He then noticed that mike had set up a video camera. “What’s that for, and where did you get the popcorn?”
Mike just replied with, “The video is to show the others and the popcorn is because this is entertaining.” Then he took another mouthful before swallowing and said. “Ok, break out bertha MK1.”
Jim just raises an eyebrow as he goes to a duffle bag sitting on the floor.
They watch as a woman with curly blonde hair shoulder length approaches the rift and as she is about to walk into it the is hit by an energy beam causing a black goo to exit her body a go back into the rift.
And then it plays out exactly like the show. Carter detains Miss. Frost. They try to close the rift.
They end up having to hold onto Daniel Sousa as they drive the hover car into the rift with the gamma core, closing the hole and then they leave.
“Okay, so I get that you showed me this to help me understand that stuff like this exists but you could have just shown me the tape?” Jim askes questioningly.
Mike raises his eyebrow but replies anyway. “Firstly it wouldn’t have had the same impact, as well as the fact that it was an excuse for us to take a trip to Hollywood. However the main reason is that the magazine your holding is a special ammo that would have closed the portal.” Jim just nods as he puts the M2 Hyde sub-machine gun back into its case.
The reason Jim was here was not just to see something funny but to make sure the butterfly effect hadn’t affected the timeline to much, so just in case he had started to create some backup plans for world ending events like the escape of the dark force.
