He realized that even though his doctors said he would make a full recovery he would never be as fit as he was before and that even with his almost mastery in martial arts he almost died multiple times.

He now understood why General Phillips said he needed an army not a soldier. Because as soon Steve Rodgers would get injured there would be no one to take his place.

He stood in the chapel with his official dress uniform.

Next to him stood Lucas and Jim who were hi best men also both in there dress uniforms.

Lucas was also here with his wife Andrea. As well as his family his sister as well as a friend Claire had made in New York stood as her brides maids.

The wedding ceremony was beautiful as Claire and Mike promised to be with each other until the end and drove away as a light shower of snow began to fall.

Mike had long figured out that if he was to have any effect on the future then he needed help but to stop the future from changing while they amassed power he decided to tell them and so far it had proved worthwhile.

Jim was still training and Mike had decided to give Lucas some martial arts tips but he was not allowed to share. He had said that since then not a single other member on the base had been able to beat him.

Mike had done this because Lucas was already a talented fighter and was ironing any flaws in the mixed martial art which focused on being able to switch styles depending on the situation which they had taken to calling Mak Tire.

Mike had also done many an investigation into anomalous sapient entities or ASE for short. Let’s just say they had born much fruit.

He and Claire had decided to try for a kid after she had finished her degree which she had fought tooth and nail to receive.

They had officially created a private company called Augur Holdings which now owned multiple subsidiaries that had ballooned in size as shell corporations.

One of our main strategies where buying land which was cheap now but would become more expensive in the future in the US, Britain, and East Asia all under Augur real estate and was our main source of Hard assets

The other was an open stock trading firm which on paper was owned by a subsidiary and was run by Simon called Geller trading, which is his surname. It had a lot of employees and was our main source of liquid assets. And had two jobs. Short sell stock that was going to crash and certain stock was to never be sold under any circumstances.

So, while Simon runs our finances he is becoming quite the personality in New York for his perceived business knowledge. Jim is training and building an information network from former acquaintances.

They decided to have the company headquarters in spencer because it was only an hour from Boston and three from NYC as well as mike has a fondness for the place he grew.
