[Nicole Haas – 11:57PM Jun/4/2025 Park Hyatt Hotel – Vienna]
She heard the two men’s voices. Faintly however due to one bullet having gone straight through her heart and the second passing straight between her brain lobes. Her heart tried with all of its might to pump but after half a dozen beats it gave out.
She could feel it. Her brain slowly shutting down as her life began to fade away. And at that moment, for the first time in years, she felt truly at peace. Nothing, the troubles, and regret seemed so extremely far away.
Her vision had blurred after the first shot. She had seen the second man run out of the building as the first man lit a match tossing it to the floor. It instantly ignited and began to spread, as he darted out the door.
She could feel the blazing heat creeping closer and closer and then it stopped. No pain or burning she lay there for what felt like forever. She has her head lying in a puddle of her own cranial fluid and blood on the floor. Her thoughts became slower as she heard the sound of shoes stepping on the marble floor echoing in the eerily silent room.
She tried to move her head to see what was coming towards her but her now oxygen-deprived muscles refused to budge even a nanometer.
A few seconds later a figure who was wearing a black fitted suit, came into her field of view. She stared at his features but as soon as they were in her mind, they left just a quickly. He towered over her withering form, a sense of acceptance coming over her as in her heart she knew exactly what and who they were.

He then bent down and stroked the caramel locks from her face. He then said in a comforting tone while examining her injuries. “I’m here for you; things will be just fine.”
He had his hand on her shoulder as he said this, firm but not painful. Comforting in its own twisted way. He then stood up and pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his jacket. Tapping once, tapping twice. He offered one to her but in her mind, she said, “No, that stuff will kill you.”
The slightest of smiles appeared on his face momentarily before it returned to it flat state. Then returning the offered cigarette to its container, he lit his own taking a long draw.
She continued to stare at his face for what felt like hours but no feature stuck.
Her eyes began to droop as random memories entered her mind from many years ago.
From the first thing she saw to the last. The first step to her eventual fall. Her first meal to her last snack on that plane. Her first cry at birth to her last sobs. She saw it all. Everything she had experienced passed in to her soul as the final words of the man were uttered, “Whether in next life, or one a thousand times from now. May your soul find rest.”
Those words echoed in her head as her consciousness finally faded from existence.

On a bed in a small community hospital was a boy 15 years old. This today was his birthday and he had come downstairs in a rush and had tripped a few steps from the bottom.
In the universes of Earth-619 little Mikey would pass on after an internal haemorrhage of the brain. This ends up leaving a grieving family to mourn him and they would eventually move on and continue with life.
However, in this universe his soul along with the soul of a woman by the name of Nicole Haas from Earth-1217 end up combining with each other and create the entity that will later become known as…
“Seer.”
