Since that day, two weeks had come and gone. With the help of Amelia, everyone was sent back to Gaia without any problems save for one, Kai was still in the seal. As the other owner of the world, Amelia knew that Kai didn't die and everyone else present was informed but that was it, the world wouldn't believe them no matter what, this was why they pronounced Kai as injured and is currently healing himself in the kingdom.
This was an insanely risky move. At the slightest chance that the ruse is revealed, people will suspect that Kai has truly died. That would not only incite panic, it would also shift the power balance of the countries. It isn't an exaggeration to say that the S-class are war deterrents. Of all S-class on the continent, the most influential to the nobles right now would be Fifth of the council then followed by Kai who took the lead in fighting the Immortal.
Of course, Alteria Kingdom still had their other S-class, Mariko Hyosuke but ever since he was possessed by the demon, his power had been reduced greatly. Although he was still in S-class, he dropped at least two years' worth of progress.
"Like I said, Kai is still healing himself, the injuries given by the Immortal were no laughing matter."
"But Kuroshi Tatsuo had already healed from his wounds! His body was in an insanely tattered state but he made a full recovery in just a week! Let's have the finest healers heal Kai! Why does Your Majesty keep refusing audience?!"
King Atsushi felt a headache coming. The nobles in front of him were too stubborn, they wanted to use Kai for war and even the Empire was asking for his whereabouts because of the contract. Heliana tried to stop the nobles but what could she do alone?
Kuroshi Tatsuo was another S-class but even though he was born and raised in the Alteria Kingdom. Most of the time, he was a freelancer and was hired by kingdoms, only recently did he become S-class and the value for him rose even more. A few days after being healed, he left the capital to find more work.
"This was the request made by Kai himself. He wanted to focus on recovering and didn't want any interruptions, he only permitted three people to meet him."
The noble that was opposing King Atsushi shut his mouth. It wasn't that the noble wanted to get Kai back in action quickly, it was obvious that this particular noble was working for other countries and wanted to prove that Kai was dead but King Atsushi didn't have proof and removing a noble from his position at a delicate time such as this wouldn't be good.
Amelia watched all this from another location, beside her were Erina and Angie.
"Nobles truly are corrupt."
Erina gave a wry smile at Amelia's comment. She, herself was a noble so how would she react to that?
"I don't really mind political affairs but all I know is that master has been solving all of them through brute force."
"...I can't deny that. There's only so much I can do since I can't really interfere with most nobles' decisions since I'm only the daughter of a duke and not a duchess. Really, Kai could at least try to leave it to others instead of giving them more problems by delaying it..."
"What's the problem? Let's just beat them up like master does."
Angie was part of the brute force squad, she was Kai's disciple through and through. Hearing her opinion, Erina felt a headache, Amelia had long since been used to this and so, kept a smile on her face.
"Angie, you were going to train Natsumi today, weren't you?"
"Nn. Unfortunately, because the king was being pressured by the nobles, he and the crown prince took a break from training to help him."
"Hmm?"

Amelia's sudden noise stopped Erina and Angie's conversation, both of them turned to her.
"It seems that the seal is becoming stronger..."
"What?!"
Erina raised her voice in response. The seal was enough to trap Fate, an immortal at SSS-class at the very least but now it became even stronger? How would Kai be able to escape?
"Wasn't the seal only supposed to get weaker? Why is it becoming stronger?"
Angie asked with a tilted head, she wasn't too worried because she had fate in Kai.
"...I don't know. It has already lost its power source- the elements used by everyone. Unless someone inside were supplying the seal with power but Kai wouldn't do that if he wanted to get out."
"Could it be the Immortal?!"
Erina once more raised her voice.
"Erina, can you please stop shouting...?"
Amelia covered her ears, Erina was shouting right beside her.
"Sorry..."
"But the Immortal wouldn't make the seal stronger either unless the both of them lived and Kai strengthened the seal to stop him."
Amelia placed a hand on her chin.
"Hmm... Ah. Erina, go with Angie to the illusion world, now. I'm going to arrive after a few hours because of the time ratio so you both have to settle the problem before then."
"Problem?"
Without answering, Amelia sent the bewildered Erina and Angie to the illusion world.
Now then...
Amelia stretched her arms upwards which was accompanied by a moan of pleasure. She then walked forward and burst into bats and traveled all the way to the other side of the capital and from there, she sped up further. The fastest bats were nowhere near the speed of sound but these bats weren't just near the speed of sound, they were many times faster. In fact, they were even faster than Kai but amazingly, there were no booms created by their speed. The bats numbered about a hundred and with their speed, barely anybody noticed them.
About tens of miles away from the capital, demons were trying to move covertly but before they even knew what happened, their vision faded into black and there was nothing left except lumps of flesh after that instant. A few more miles away, more demons became lumps of flesh. All of them looked like dried husks and there wasn't a drop of blood in them.
These were the demons that moved from the port during the two weeks that Kai was deemed as dead. Barely any of them reached the Alteria Kingdom but Amelia not only drained every demon she found in the Alteria Kingdom, she also drained them in the other kingdoms. With her speed, it wasn't any trouble and with magic, she multiplied the amount of bats which further helped her.
The bats split into many parts but they were all one person and not only was Amelia's vision split, she also had to sense the surrounding demons with each colony of bats. If Kai was amazing for being able to control multiple puppets and arms, then Amelia was arguably even more amazing. She split herself into at least twenty colonies and she had to simultaneously take blood, sense demons, and travel.
Although the demons were moving covertly, it was impossible for people not to pass through the places they were killed.
"What are those?!"
"Aren't they demons?!"
Merchants who were traveling from city to city, peddlers who were searching for customers, and farmers who were selling their crops at a nearby town, they easily encountered the corpses and quickly began to report them. Overnight, every kingdom was alerted that corpses of demons were found and drained of blood. Even King Atsushi who knew of Amelia but didn't know she was a vampire was alarmed.
Vampires were a symbol of fear, much more frightening than dragons because not only were vampires covert, they also killed their victims in a more frightening way and because Amelia killed demons from every kingdom, everyone was under the suspicion that there wasn't only one vampire- there were tens of them. A single vampire was rarely seen, perhaps once every decade but now over ten of them appeared at once, how would the commoners who were barely defended be safe?
Even a single vampire was enough to destroy a kingdom- nay, a continent.
A single day was all it took for the entire continent to be alerted not just by the threat of demons but also vampires. Most kingdoms began evacuating villagers and sealed off their major cities. Word quickly spread that all of the kingdoms were experiencing the same phenomenon and this increased their alarm even more.
Of course, this was Amelia's plan all along.
----------------------------------------
"...I hate you."
Erina glared at Amelia who just arrived at the illusion world. Erina's hair was haggard and her skin was a shade paler than usual but her eyes were as fierce as ever as she glared at Amelia.
"What? It's not like you expect me to do all the work, right? Where's Angie?"
"Over there."
Erina pointed at a nearby rock where Angie was sprawled out and unconscious, she had wounds all over her body but they were only superficial.
"Good work you two. I'll take it from here."
"You better. I've had enough fighting a hundred thousand monsters, they even disappeared once I killed them!"
Amelia smiled and snapped her fingers. A huge orb of blood appeared on top of her and only became larger and larger- this was made from the blood of demons. Accompanying the orb of blood, chains rose up from the floor and revealed a giant black hole-like portal.
"Break!"
The orb of blood burst open and rushed towards the portal.
