Mari stared for a moment looking at the different categories and took another calming breath, she had been doing that a lot recently.
"I already know about Monster Cores, and as much as I would like to look at the others I need to know more about the rewards first." she sighed.

"Lots of options, at least they're not too expensive. I want to tie in the Nature affinity but I don't want to spend too much here so let's go with the Basic Enchanted Sword with Nature affinity." With that choice made she moved on.
"What else did it say I needed?" Mari frowned in thought, "Right! A quest giver, where's that?"
She watched as the screen returned to the Store's main page and opened the Characters section.

+Customization
Mari couldn't stop herself from clicking on the Customization option, her mind had already begun crafting a story for the first floor and this was the chance to make it happen.
On the newly opened Customization screen, Mari observed three sections, the first was labeled Appearance, the second had Task, and the third was Personality.
"Let's start with Appearance." She hummed and opened the corresponding tab. It was very similar to the character customization in games and as such it was easy for her to navigate.
Mari ended up choosing the appearance of a blue butterfly, it was about the size of an adult human hand and glowed softly.
"Next, is Task." This was even simpler as it only had two options unlocked, Quest Giver and Inhabitant.
Once Quest Giver was selected Mari was prompted to enter the quest and reward, she selected the Basic Enchanted Sword and then typed in the quest, "Find the fractured piece from the Heart of the Forest and witness the wonder of the stars, + Defeat all Monsters, +Find the Heart Piece,"
After that she was given the option to publish the quest or save it as a draft, deciding she would save it for now as a lot of the quest depended on how the lore worked out, Mari closed out of the Task tab and opened Personality.
This tab held a list of personality traits and after a bit of scrolling Mari selected five she felt would fit. "Gentle, Compassionate, Mysterious, Eloquent, Mature."
"Now onto the Lore, I'm supposed to enter the floor to do this right?" She asked Nuit who barked and let the way to the green shimmer on the wall.
Mari paused and stared hesitantly at the shimmer but Nuit had no fear and jumped right through "Nuit! Wait, I-" she sighed after the fox, took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and stepped through.
The first thing she noticed was the sound of birds chirping, and the rustling of trees. When she opened her eyes she saw she was in a forest, a bark at her feet made her notice Nuit who sat there wagging her tail.
"So, this is my first floor," she spun in a slow circle taking in the sight of towering trees and grass greener than anything she had ever seen on earth. "It's beautiful."
The sound of a small chime made her look down and notice a glowing circle around her wrist similar to a watch. Holding her hand up made it change and display several buttons, it made her think of VR games.
One of the images was of a work-case and hovering her finger over it brought up the words workroom, the other image was of a pawprint and it said summon monster, the last one was of a scroll and it said Lore.
Clicking on Lore brought up the option to sacrifice 500 credits and start the recording of the first lore but she held off for now wanting to get her thoughts in order first.
"Let's talk it out," Mari began to pace and talk to Nuit, "I want to make a lore that will span several floors and this will be the start so I'll need to keep that in mind. I want to do something with the stars and maybe the Aurora Borealis."
"It would be cool If eventually, I could do something like make a Character that's a star - like a wishing star,"
Mari pressed the Lore button and ordered her thoughts before sacrificing the 500 credits. A scroll appeared floating in front of her and a fancy quill with shimmering black ink on its tip.
"Once upon a time, long ago in a land far away, there was a star who loved to watch the worlds below her.
One day as she danced with her fellow stars, painting a brilliant light across the night sky she saw a green light in a world below her.
Ignoring her fellow stars' warning she danced her way down and searched for the light. When she found it she was awed by the wonder of the forest heart, but when she touched it she accidentally shattered it with her power.
Heartbroken and guilty by her accident, she used all the power of her star and grasped the closest shard to her chest halting the destruction of the forest.
Be warned, Warriors her power weakens with every passing night where she stays away from the night sky."
The moment she finished speaking the scroll glowed and faded away.
