“First up - Safe Zone,” Mari quickly made the town foundation on the Port Island into the safe zone. This time instead of a circle of flowers the zone was encircled by a fence made of golden vines with the same purple flowers as before.

“That brings me to 2,225 credits. That should be enough to make 6 new monster blueprints, hopefully.” Mari sighed.
“Since I’m already at the Port let’s start here.” Mari opened up the Port Island status screen.
Name: Port Island
Type: Simple Forest
Size: 1.5 acre
Creatures: Assorted Birds, Assorted Critters, 10 Wolves, 5 Bears, 12 Deer, 12 Foxes
Theme: Port Island is the first sight Warriors get of the second floor, filled with vibrant resources, a large port with ships available to purchase, and foundations for a town.
In the end, Mari chose a sparrow from the assorted birds, bought a Common Monster core and gave it a Space Affinity, then allowed it to mutate.
“Mischievous Thief, a sparrow that lives to cause mischief and covets all valuables.”
The sparrow grew to the size of a full-grown cat, besides that the only discernible change was that the undecided of its wings got darker and shimmered slightly.
“I guess that’s that. Next, let’s do the Gold Evening Island.” Mari walked around the table and arrived at the small beach.
Name: Gold Evening
Type: Golden Beach
Size: 1 Acre
Creatures: 20 Crabs, 6 Lions
Theme: When the sun rises in the morning this Island Beach becomes visible. Home to the Golden Lions and Gold Crabs, this place is hard to get to but filled with rich rewards for those who can prove themselves.
“Lion, Common Core, Space Affinity, Mutate,” Mari mumbled as she worked.
“Okay, The Golden Lion. Judge, Jury, and Executioner. Knight of Honor, Loyalty, and Justice.” Mari nodded and saved everything.
The Lion grew to be twice as large and his mane seemed to become the sun itself, white armor covered his feline body and his claws and tail tip turned white. “Nice.”
Next Mari went to Mushroom Island. "I wonder if I can make a plant a Monster..." After buying a Common Monster Core Mari bit her lip and hoped for a new option.

Sure enough there it was, the choice to give the core to a plant. Mari quickly scanned the island and chose the oddest-looking mushroom she could find.
Already she had an idea in mind, "Water Affinity, mutate, and then finally the name..." Mari hummed as she thought about it. "Got it! The Wonder Shroom is a peaceful mushroom with a grand imagination. It often gets caught in daydreams and is easily startled, when that happens it sprays out a fine mist that draws those it touches into wonderful daydreams."
The mushroom grew to be 6 feet tall, sky blue, and covered in moving swirls that made watchers tired.
The next two islands went rather quickly. The Crystal Palace ended up with The Dazzling Array, a Peakock with a Space Affinity as well as a mutation. Its feathers gained a crystal-like appearance and the monster could separate and manipulate each feather.
Skullcrown Isle, a pirate island ended up with a shark monster. Mari went with the easy option and gave it a water affinity, but chose not to mutate it. The name she went with was - Water's Razor. The shark grew sharp edges on its fins and got even faster but that was it for the changes.
Now finally Mari was at the hardest choice, The Peak. "What do you think Nuit?" She sighed, "I don't really want a monster for this island but the quest requires each island to have a unique monster."
Nuit perked up and barked. A screen appeared as if summoned by her bark and offered a solution.
The Peak.
Would you like to tie the wandering monster Serene Whale to the Peak? This would mean the monster would wander around the island and be unable to stray too far.
Yes/No
Mari considered this new choice for a while. "I like it, this way I can keep the Serene Leviathon as a wandering monster. Thanks Nuit." She smiled and scratched the fox behind her fluffy white ear.

"Now all that's left is to choose a Boss for floor 2." Mari sighed, "Well at least I have more options now."
A few gestures later Mari pulled up a screen with all the Monster on Floor 2.
Floor 2 Monsters
* Winter - Abominable Snow Bear (Common)
* Summer - Sun Striker (Common)
* Fall - Forest Bulwark (Common)
* Spring - Stinker (Common)
* Port - Mischievous Thief (Common)
* Mushroom - The Wonder Shroom (Common)
* Crystal - Dazzling Array (Common)
* Pirate - Water's Razor (Common)
* Peak - Serene Whales (Common)
* Wondering - Serene Leviathon (Uncommon)
"Too many options..." Mari groaned, "I hate making decisions."
In the end, after several notebook pages were sacrificed to Pros v. Cons comparison lists, Mari decided to make one of the Serene Whales a boss.
The Serene Leviathon would be an existence the Warriors would both fear and be in awe of, but just like real whales, it would be rare to see. On the other hand, the Serene Whale would be the last challenge the Warriors would face before they could reach the top of the Peak.
It was perfect.
So Mari opened the status screen of floor two and got to work. First, the cost of making the Serene Whale into a Boss monster was 400 credits, twice as much as the Forest Advocate.
Once it was chosen and bought the hologram of the whale changed just like the Forest Advocate had, it grew larger though still nowhere near as large as the Leviathon. Finally, it gained shimmering star-like constellations across its body.
Next, she began to craft the Domain, after checking the preferred habitat and fighting conditions Mari made a large open water map. She made it deep and made the lower half darker so that it would be harder to see, and then she placed several mini islands, similar to lilypads.
The idea was that the Warriors would have to fight from the small platforms, jumping between them to get around and avoid the monster.
Now done with the domain, Mari added the Boss to the newly finished map and then examined the waters around the Peak.
"Let's go right here, in the water right next to the stairs at the bottom of the peak." Once it was placed the water in the selected area darkened and got fiercer, it was now clearly a danger to all those approaching.
